Hello
Line Commands
Line commands are used to format and change the source text of schemas and personnel calculation rules. These commands are entered directly in the line number field for each line of the source text.
The line commands available currently are listed below:
Command
   Description
The selected line is displayed as the first line in the Editor.
A
The target line for the copy (C/CC...CC) or move (M/MM...MM) command. The lines that have been copied or moved are inserted directly after the selected target line.
B
The target line for the copy (C/CC...CC) or move (M/MM...MM) command. The lines copied or moved are inserted directly before the selected target line.
C
Copies the selected line to the target line specified by the command A or B.
CC...CC
Copies the selected line block or line range to the target line specified by the command A or B. Enter CC in the first and last line of the block you want to select.
D
   Deletes the selected line.
DD...DD
Deletes the selected line block or line range. Enter DD in the first and last line of the block you want to delete.
I
Inserts a blank line directly beneath the selected line.
In
Inserts n blank lines directly beneath the selected line.
M
Moves the selected lines to the target line specified by the command A or B.
MM...MM
Deletes the selected line block or line range. Enter MM in the first and last line of the block you want to move.
R
Duplicates the selected line. The copy is inserted in the line directly beneath the original.
Rn
Repeats the selected line n times. The copies are inserted directly beneath the original.
X
Copies the content of the X buffer beneath this line.
XX...XX
Writes the selected line block to the X buffer. Enter XX in the first and last line of the block that you want to write to the buffer.
>
Expands or displays a subschema. This command can only be used if the line contains the COPY function.
<
Undoes the expansion of a subschema. This command undoes the > command.
Reward point please.

  • ICal Group Calendar - Line command

Does anyone know how to create a group calendar other than through the wiki interface? I would think there is a line command as well.
I have created group calendars on several osx servers in the past. I have two 10.6.4 servers that seem to have an authorization or communication issue when creating the calendar through the wiki.
    Apache: *PROPFIND /principals/wikis/company/ HTTP/1.1" 500 201*
Ical err Failure: *twisted.internet.error.ConnectionRefusedError: Connection was refused by other side: 61: Connection refused*.
Accessing the group calendar through the wiki give in in browser error:
    quest URL:
    *Request Method:PROPFIND*
    *Status Code:500 Internal Server Error*
I thought I'll debug it further by creating a group calendar by command line. Does anyone know how to do that? Or any other suggestions where to continue?

Thanks for that, Jonathan, but it appears to have a problem: you apparently can't use the Address Panel if you fill in the Account URL field, and all the attendees I fill in to events aren't "real" they have little exclams before their name, instead of check marks.
It seems that the Address Panel only works with accounts that have "Automatically discover server address" checked, and each account for which you have that checked must have a different Username -- you can't use a group name.
I suppose you could set up dummy user names so you could access the groups somehow, AND have the Address Panel working properly...
It's too bad this stuff doesn't work better. I'll bet it doesn't get better before the next "kitty" release, 18-24 months from now...

  • Multi-line command problems

I am trying to add an motd banner to a configuration template in template center.  When I add it I get the following error on the import:
Template import Failed. Unable to parse the XML file. Please ensure that the XML file is complaint to the schema.
I went to the config manual and copied the multi-line command example exactly as shown and added it to my template:
    <MLTCMD> banner login "Welcome to
Cisco Prime LMS - you are using
    Multi-line commands" </MLTCMD>
I still get the import error.  I have never been able to get multi-line commands to work in any version of LMS.  Is this a known issue?  Is there a fix?
    -Jeff

The ability to import templates with multi-line support was not added until LMS 4.1.  You also have to use < and > instead of < and > as the MLTCMD tag is embedded into XML and not part of the XML itself.  Here's an example from the SCH template:

  • Command line commands

Is there any class in the default java SDK for executing command line commands? I've been looking in the API but have been unsuccessful so far.
    Thanks.

when i execute the command, the process created goes for half a minute or so, but the java program just ends straight away.
is there any way to keep the java program open as long as the process is still running?

  • Command line command for combine jpeg files into a pdf file

I want to learn if we have any command line sentence to combine jpg files.
normally from the windows explorer window
i can select all jpg files and when i click on right button on the window they shows Combine supported files in acrobat and then i check if single file is selected and i clicked on combine files button.
and then i put name of the file and press the save button.
But i want to process this steps via command line commands.
Can you show any answer to me.

You don't say what version of Acrobat you are using, but I expect you could do it with Acrobat XI's Actions feature. Maybe even in 10.0. Since this is an enterprise deployment forum, I suggest you find a better forum and ask about Actions and Batch Processing.

  • HiQ doesn't execute scripts and command line commands

I am running HiQ pro 4.5 on Windows 2000 SP 2. Whenever I enter a command line command, e.g. "1+1", HiQ reports "no error reported" and doesn't execute the command. When I enter the same command again, HiQ tells me that a semicolon is missing.
When I try to execute a script, HiQ reports "Fatal Script error on line -1".
Anybody knows this behaviour and how to get HiQ running normally?

I do have the same problem.

  • Open a forms in line command with pll attached.

    Hi guys,
I'm trying to open one fmb by line command, but this fmb has a pll attached and i receive the error frm-18108, so
there is a somehow to open this forms with his pll, in line command....
if I try with one fmb without pll, he works out
    i´m using forms 6i and oracle 10g
    ifbld60.EXE c:\sa\fmb_work\wx010.fmbl userid=wl/wl@P10G
    thanks...

There are two ways for the Forms Runtime to find the attached PL/SQL Library.
First, the .pll file must be located in a directory with the exact same path used when the .pll is attached to the .fmb. For example, if you attach a library called "TESTING.pll" to your form in the Forms Builder and this TESTING.pll is located in C:\TESTING, then when you run your form on a client computer, you must have a C:\TESTING directory with the TESTING.pll file in this directory. When you attached your .pll, you would have received the message, +"Attached library name C:\TESTING\TESTING.pll contains a non-portable directory specification. Remove path?"+ You would have answered "No" to this alert.
Second (and preferred method), is to remove the non-portable directory specification by answering "Yes" to alert listed above. When you distribute your Forms executables to your client computer, you will need to ensure you deliver your library executable as well (.plx). For the Forms Runtime to find your TESTING.plx library, you will need to have the FORMS_PATH environment variable specified on each client computer and have the C:\TESTING directory listed in this FORMS_PATH variable, as well as the directory when the rest of your Forms executables (.fmx) are located. The FORMS_PATH can also be specified in the Windows Registry as Amatu Allah indicated when he/she asked:
Have u set the paths in registery correctly.?You can tell if you have a non-portable directory specification on your library by opening the property pallet for your attached library. If you have a non-portable directory specified, it will be listed in the PL/SQL Library Location property.

  • There is a UNIX line command for Core audio RAM size addressing?

    I don't look for magician..
I know that there is terminal command for change setting about song backup count...
since Logic 8 the Project Backup has been fixed to 10...
I mentioned defaults in my first post. 'defaults' is the command line utility to set the maximum number of backups, and the key/value is clearly visible in the file, where I see no clearly identified key for the preference setting you seek.
so you can type 'man defaults' into terminal to read the manual for defaults.
Also in Logic 6 32bit application... and in Logic 7.2.3 (32bit application)
there is a setting that allow me to addressing 384Mb to the system core audio... and it is not a 64 bit apps.
    Memory addressing != Memory allocating
I'm looking for a Terminal command that can rewrite Logic preferences files... in the same way as made for change the Song Backups number...
Please stay focused I don't need theoretical explaination..
    I'm a Musician... I'm not a Developer...
BUT I Know.. for sure...I can adress 384Mb for core audio...
I need to bypass the automatic ram adressing only and strictly focused to achieve 384MB just for CORE AUDIO!!!
Right right right. I addressed that by typing:
you'd have insider info to use that utility for the intentions that you have in mind
If that preference exists, it is not public knowledge (to my knowledge). You would need to know a few things about the preference key/value to set or remove it.
So, yeah - my original post covered it all, to the best of my knowledge.

  • Issue with variables and white space in powershell script that calls a command line command

    Guys,
I have a question regarding this script. Each time I run it, it creates the share, but with a space after it. Also I need help figuring out how to put in the variable for the folder path.
    Below is the code
    $Users=Import-Csv C:\users2.csv
    foreach($User in $Users){
         $User.SNCORP
         $User.HPB
         $User
         cmd /c "net share "$User.SNCORP"=D:\Users\"$User.HPB" /grant:Everyone,FULL"
The csv file looks like this
    HPB,SNCORP
    ccarter,carterch$
This is my output in powershell
    PS C:\> .\shareflip.ps1
    carterch$
    ccarter
    HPB                                                         SNCORP
    ccarter                                                     carterch$
The syntax of this command is:
    NET SHARE
    sharename
              sharename=drive:path [/GRANT:user,[READ | CHANGE | FULL]]
                                   [/USERS:number | /UNLIMITED]
                                   [/REMARK:"text"]
                                   [/CACHE:Manual | Documents| Programs | BranchCache | None]
              sharename [/USERS:number | /UNLIMITED]
                        [/REMARK:"text"]
                        [/CACHE:Manual | Documents | Programs | BranchCache | None]
              {sharename | devicename | drive:path} /DELETE
              sharename \\computername /DELETE
    Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Christopher

There is no need to use cmd /c. You should be able to use:
    net share "$($User.SNCORP)=D:\Users\$($User.HPB)" "/grant:Everyone,Full"
Use showargs.exe (from the article) at the beginning of this line to see the command line PowerShell is actually running (very useful for troubleshooting).

  • New line command in a string?

I'm trying to go to a new line in the middle of a string. I was told that the command was /n but that's definitely not working. Can anyone help me out? Thanks

You were close. It's \n. You can do something like
System.out.println("this is the first line \nthis is the second line");Or you could do this:
    System.out.println("this is the first line");
System.out.println("this is the second line");The 'ln' on the end of the print statement starts a new line each time.

  • How we run command line commands in oracle

    Hi,
In sql server i have an option "xp_cmdshell" i can run windows commands e.g "dir " using query analyzer.
How can i do same thing in oracle
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards
    Faheem

    > MY SELECT:select OSexec('dir') as STDOUT from dual;
    ERROR:-1command[dir] The handle is invalid.
In the sample code, I've executed a Linux/Unix program called date, physical file /usr/bin/date.
Is there a DATE.EXE or a DIR.EXE program that you can execute on Windows?
No. Both DATE and DIR are commands of a program - a 32bit console program called CMD.EXE.
Your confusion stems from thinking that OSEXEC is calling the Windows shell command line. It is not. It is not calling CMD.EXE and passing Window Shell Commands to CMD.EXE.
OSEXEC is calling, via Java, the Win32 API call called CreateProcess(). This is a call to the Win32 kernel. It requests the kernel to load an executable program as a process image.
The kernel expects an EXE (or executable) file to load. You are passing it a command from a program. You just as well can pass it a Java command, a MS Access Basic Command, an Excel Macro, etc... Same thing. The kernel has no idea that this "command" needs another program to be loaded, and that command be "passed" somehow to that program.
So, you need to call CMD.EXE via OSEXEC. And you can pass parameters to it. Open a Command Console and type cmd /? for help on the command line switches and parameters for CMD.EXE.
I believe the following should work:
    SQL> select OSEXEC( 'c:\windows\system32\cmd.exe /c date /t') from dual;

  • One-line command to shrink some AVIs?

    Hey,
I ripped some television episodes from DVD, 22 mins each at a bit too high quality, they're 500-700MB each. I would like to free up some of that space, any idea what a one-line mencoder or transcode or whatever command would be to shrink them down a bit? I tried the man pages for the above, but they just confuse the hell out of me.
    Dusty

try a vist to Simplerip for  quick generation of a one liner.
    I use
    mencoder
    - noskip
    --vf harddup
    -vf scale
    -xy 640
    -ovc xvid -xvidencopts bitrate=1000
    -oac mp3lame -lameopts mode=2:cbr:br=128:vol=0
    infile -o outfile
    for quick recodes
