Line does not disconnect

I have a BT Studio 1500 and BT Broadband. The phone works perfectly well on all incoming calls and on all outgoing calls when the person being called picks up the phone. However when the person being called does not answer and the call goes to a recorded message, the phone usually does not disconnect properly when I put the phone down so that if I go to make another call, the line is still "live" and I have to take the phone line out of the broadband filter to get a dialling tone and, of course, my phone bill will have been charged for the time that the line was still "live", even after I put the phone down!!
Does anyone know whether this is an issue that can be easily resolved (rather than having to check the line after each outgoing call that goes to a recorded message) or will I need to get an engineer out to check the line? FYI, I have tried a difference broadband filter, but that does not seem to have helped.
Any assistance/advice greatly appreciated.

I would try another phone in place of the studio, sounds like a fault on the answering machine part of it.

    This featue is only available on iphone running ios 5 or later.

  • Brush Problems with Illustrator CS4... the line does not draw with my mouse movement

    When I use any other brush besides the Calligraphic Brushes from the "Artistic Ink" brush library, I press down with either my Wacom Tablet or mouse, and the line does not appear to draw. Then I release the button on the mouse or lift my pen tablet up, the lines appears. Sometimes, a little "dot dot dot" line appears when the brush stroke it going to appear. But most of the time, it's just nothing, and then the line appears after I've drawn it.
    However, with the preselected brushed at the top, and the Calligraphic Artistic Brushes, the line appears as I am drawing it. This is what I want for the other brushes.
    Is this normal?! I just recently upgraded to Windows 7, and reinstalled the Adobe Suite. I can't remember if Illustrator did this before I reinstalled it, but I'm not sure it did otherwise it would have annoyed me as much as it does now. Can anybody help me?

    Hope I'm not hijacking this thread.
    First time posting to a forum.
    I'm having the same problem and followed the advice for changing the file name in the Illustrator CS# Settings folder.
    This solved the problem of seeing predicted brush paths for very basic brushs, but I still can't get a preview path for any of the ink brushs.
    I've seen video tutorials which demonstrate inking techniques and the ink brush predicted path was clearly working in those tutorials.
    I'm assuming therefore that I should be able to see some type of preview when using the ink brushs.
    Any advice would be great!

    Have you tried re-calibrating the battery? To re-calibrate it, let the battery drain completely and then charge it fully. You should see correct battery usage after that.

    In the delta report (/SAPAPO/CCR - CIF_DELTAREPORT), there are discrepancies that say error code 183, which is Schedule line does not exist in R/3..
    But when we look in R3, they are actually there. So we don’t want these showing as a discrep in the delta report.
    Example in ‘purchasing’, ‘confirmations’, ‘missing in R3 with external key’
    If you run DELTAREPORT for  purchasing, confirmation, unjustified error 183 are displayed despite of no inconsistency really exists.
    Please help why these dscrepancies displayed.

  • Torch 9860 does not disconnect after ending call

    Hi,
    I have been having this peculiar problem with my blackberry torch 9860 smartphone for the past 1 week. After finishing a voicecall, in many situations the phone does not disconnect even if I press the end call button repeatedly. It just seems to "hang" for 30-40 seconds and then disconnect. Sometimes it dosconnects only if the person at the other end hangs up.

  • Mdt 2012 sp1 command line does not run from task sequence

    Hi,
    I am hoping I can explain this correctly.  I am using MDT 2012 and having an issue with running command lines, powershell and batch files that I setup.
    The task sequence is set to use an account called "MDTService".  it has rights to join the domain but is not in the local admin group of the reference image.  a domain GPO renames the local admin account CoAdmin.
    when running a command line to, for example, run xcopy a folder and subdirectories to the "program Files x86" directory, it does not copy.
    When I log on to the system and use an admin account to manually run the command I do not have an issue.  if I log onto the system with the MDTService user and run it, it fails.
    How do I get the commands to run from the MDT task sequence?  I do not want to make the MDTService user an admin.  I have tried the run as option in the task sequence but that did not work.  maybe is set it wrong.  I used a domain\Admin
    account which did not work.
    what can I clarify or logs can I post to provide more details.

  • Bug: Changing line does not change legend

    Hello,
    I am almost certain this is a bug but hopefully I've done something wrong. Basically, I am printing a chart in black and white and I want one line to be dashed and the other solid. When I do this in numbers, the key/legend is not updated. Both appear as solid black lines.

    I'll mark this as answered, and the answer is: *No, paradoxically Numbers does not update the legend when strokes are changed; only when "data symbols" are used.*

  • DrJava compiles,.. command line does not.

    All my files are in the directory:
    ... /alak/codeFiles/

    }When I compile this in DrJava it compiles but doesn't work when i jar it up and test it in a browser. When I compile it in the command line on Windows using:

    I get this error:

    I am in F:\alak\codeFiles\ when I used the command javac AlakApp.java
    I tried:
    F:\alak\codeFiles> javac -cp F:\alak\codeFiles\ AlakApp.javaAnd I still get the same errors
    EDIT: Problem fixed:
    The error was that I need to be compiling all of the files in the alak.codeFiles package at once. So I just used:
    F:\alak\codeFiles> javac -cp F:\alak\codeFiles\ *.javaSince all of the java files there were in that directory were the ones that needed to be compiled I just used a wild card.

    Thank you again for your suggestions. I deleted the Skype application, but the "Phone" application continues not working. The version of the software that I have is 2.2, and i was told that I cannot update it to the last version, as my iPhone would be blocked doing so

  • Windows 7 Defrag from command line does not work

    We are running Windows 7 in a virtualized environment. When running windows defrag using schedule or from command line, it does not work. The command that I am executing as administrator is

    It displays the above message and exits back to the command prompt. However if I run the command defrag C: it does work. Defragmenting from the GUI works as well as long as both the disks (C: and System Reserved) are selected and when I click on

    I am concerned about defrag running from the task scheduler with the command "defrag /c" (auto scheduled using Configure Schedule... from Disk Defragmenter) does not work and the system never gets defragmented automatically.
    This happens only with some of the windows 7 VM's that we have.
    There are no entries in Event Log that point to the defrag (using task scheduler). Any ideas what may be going on?

    1. Open Disk Defragmenter by clicking the Start button. In the search box, type
    Disk Defragmenter, and then, in the list of results, click
    Disk Defragmenter.
    2.Under Current status, select the disk you want to defragment.
    3.To determine if the disk needs to be defragmented or not, click Analyze disk. Administrator permission required If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
    Once Windows is finished analyzing the disk, you can check the percentage of fragmentation on the disk in the
    Last Run column. If the number is above 10%, you should defragment the disk.
    4.Click Defragment disk. Administrator permission required If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

  • IPod does not disconnect

    Hi, I have spent the last 3 days trying to figure out why the ipod does not detach after a download. I took my PC to best buys today and the person said that the USB driver has issues. Is there an apple USB ipod driver that I can download?
    So even though iTunes says Update Complete - the ipod still flashed the do not disconnect - until I hard power the PC off.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    I tried that too - but it says that device is being used by another application. But there is no application running.
    Any better ideas?

    I've just called myself! While listening on my landline and ending the call using the mobile it cuts off immediately, displays the length of call for about two seconds, then thats it. There is a delay if I end the call from the land line but there is a delay before the phone gets a continuous tone to signify an end of call on a land line too. Pressing the end call button ends normally with no delays either way
