Line In 1 / Mic In not registering in windows xp 64 professio

Hello there all - i upgraded my OS to Windows XP Pro 64. I have a SoundBlaster Audigy 4 Pro.
i Installed the drivers using:?SBAX_WBUP2_LB_2_09_006.exe?the soundblaster is working, except that the Line In /Mic In is not registering. I can hear the microphone check through the computer speakers, which are a standard self powered Behringer Truth B2030A, but no programs read the sound. I have adjusted all the advanced audio properties on the Soundblaster in Windows, including making sure "What you Hear" is checked, "Line In/Mic" is checked, the volume levels are acceptable. Has anyone else had a similar problem? Any suggestions?i did not install the creative EAX program, only the SoundBlaster Audigy Drivers. thanksmatt

  • Acrobat will not register on Windows 8.1 computer

I have installed Acrobat 8 Professional on a new Windows 8.1 computer. It works, but every time I open the program it says it was not registered properly. If I ignore the warning the program still works, but I have a plug-in that I use that I have to register every time I use it.

    Hi vbp printer,
Acrobat 8 on Windows 8.1 is an untested and unsupported configuration and you might face compatibility issues.
Please try running Acrobat 8 in compatibility mode and then check.

  • IPod not registering on windows when connected

    Hi,
My ipod is connected up to a usb 2.0 port and it just isnt registering. ive tried on another computer with the same result. Has anyone encountered similar problems?
    Please help thankyou

    I might have an answer....
I had this problem for 5 days and I finally sorted thru 15 articles to get it to work.
    1. If you have a lap top go to this support web site and follow the instruction. I had the same problem with my creative media MP3 player.
    2. The other useful tip is that the IPOD tries to pick a default drive on your computer and if u are already using that drive for something, then it does not work. To check/fix this...
    a. Go to "MY computer"
    b. Each drive will have a letter ("c:\")
Write down all of the ones you are using.
    c. Right click on the "My computer icon" and select "Manage" from the menu.
    d. Under "storage" pick "Disk management"
IT MAY TAKE upto 5 minutes to load!!!
    e. Find the ipod in the menu on the right and make sure that the drive letter is not one that you wrote down in step b. If it is, then right click and change it.
    f. Restart your computer.
    3. IF this does not work, re-install ITunes.
    AFter than... keep looking.
I got this stuff off of other discussion page so thanks to everyone who has helped me out!!!

  • Jre 32-bit not registered or created any symlinks on windows 64-bit

I have installed 64-bit public jre 1.8 on windows 2012. Then installed 32-bit public jre 1.8 for testing 32-bit based applications. I can see symlinks created for 64-bit jre, but no symlinks created for 32-bit jre. And also 32-bit jre is not registered on windows 2012, because of this reason I have to update environment PATH variable every time I update 32-bit jre version. Is there any way we can use jre 32-bit without updating %PATH% variable.

The WoW64 subsystem redirects shortcuts that point to the 64-bit Program Files to the 32-bit Program Files (x86) causing the plugin to not be found.
The simplest fix would be to copy the 32-bit plugin into the Plug-Ins folder of the 32-bit version of Photoshop.
Unfortunately Wow64DisableWow64FsRedirection does not work for %PROGRAMFILES%, so a 32-bit application would have to attempt to fix the path manually.

  • Mini-DVI port does not work in windows 7

I am currently running boot camp 3.2 on windows 7 professional. When I attempt to use my display port it does not register in windows 7, however when i switch back to snow leopard it works perfectly fine. What can I do to fix this?

I have a MacMini that is a intel core solo and has the DVI port not the mini-DVI.
I was able to load win7 but only after connecting the MacMini to an LCD monitor via DVI-to-VGA converter that came with my mac mini.
I am running snow leopard on the mac side and the video works great in 1080p via DVI cable direct to my DLP tv. but when I loaded win7 the tv couldn't display the video feed. The tv read "not compatible data". The DLP tv has a VGA input and win7 is running fine on it.
I am looking for a way to enable the video card to give the same quality on the win7 side as the OS X side, so that I can go back to the DVI cable and the 1080p I was getting in snow leopard.

  • I have successfully exported subtitles (XML files) from FC version 7 to FC version 6, by choosing Apple XML Interchange Format Version 4. Now the exported subtitles suddenly read in one long line, at the top, not registering any "Enter" keystrokes.

I have successfully exported subtitles (XML files) from FC version 7 to FC version 6, by choosing Apple XML Interchange Format Version 4. Now the exported subtitles suddenly read in one long line, at the top, not registering any "Enter" keystrokes. The same happens even if I re-import the XML file into Final Cut Version 7 (from where I exported the subtitles). Any tips on how to fix this?

You might see if you can bring the xml file into Title Exchange Pro
    http://www.spherico.com/filmtools/TitleExchange/
It's a great program and the author was very responsive when I had a problem.
If it reads correctly, you can probably save it back out.
If you want to send it to me, I'll see if it opens.

  • [SOLVED] Mic does not work on Intel ICH8 (rev 3) sound card

    Hi, folks.
I cannot get my sound card to record anything, using a built-in microphone. Audio output works just fine, though. I hope someone can help me, I have been banging my head against the wall for some time over this issue...
My laptop is Toshiba Satellite A200-1J0 (PSAE6E-04R036G3). alsamixer settings are fine, I tried supplementing additional options to /etc/modprobe.d/modprobe.conf, but no luck, tried some of the combinations (model=<> position_fix=<>).
When recording sound with gnome-sound-recorder, with Capture set as input, nothing is heard. Skype can't record anything, either. I can't even get the crackling or hissing sound like some users do.
Should I try to get the latest ALSA?

    Hi there!
I had the very same problem with the same soundcard and found this thread.
The problem got solved for me by adding the same line as you have to /etc/modprobe.d/modprobe.conf.
However, I also had to create /etc/modprobe.d/sound.conf and add:
    alias snd-card-0 snd-hda-intel
    alias sound-slot-0 snd-hda-intel
    options snd-hda-intel model=toshiba power_save=0
Notice the difference on the "model=toshiba" part.
However, my laptop is not a Toshiba, but a Compal IFL90.
I remember that in Ubuntu I needed(a long time ago) to add a line to /etc/alsa.conf with model=toshiba. I figured it might be worth a try, and well, it did.
I hope this can help someone else.
As for the OP: "You have my thanks!"

  • TREX7.1 - Program not registered

    Hi to all experts,
I am implementing TREX7.1 revision 36 (latest) which is standalone, but I encountered the error - program not registered while creating the RFC connection in admin tool. Previously the connection was working but it happens when I switched the RFCSERVER to "single thread (all hosts), deleted the old RFC connection and recreate the new one.
I have tried the following methods:
    1. removed TREX and reinstall it again.
    2. executed rfcexec u2013g<program id> -a<gateway host name> -x<gateway service> (it seems like nothing has been changed) - I registered it in SAP server, am I correct?
    Thanks in advance.
    BR,
    Nancy

    Hi to all experts,
Problem solved once i restarted the SAP server and recreated the RFC connection in TREX server.
Another issue now, when i run the "python runInstallationTest.py", error occurs as below:

  • Error 'Program not registered' while testing RFC

    Hi
I have created a RFC with type T. When I am testing the same through SM59, I am getting error:
    Logon     Connection Error
Error Details     Error when opening an RFC connection

Can anybody help me in this?
    Thanks in advance

    Something helpful related to this
The program in the above error should be registered in the gateway for this connection test to complete successfully. The server program rfcexec is responsible for its registration on the gateway.
To register the program login into the OS level as sudo su - <sid>adm and execute the following command.
    rfcexec u2013g<program id> -a<gateway host name> -x<gateway service>
rfcexec is the server program name, the <program id> can be obtained from SM59, it is case sensitive and should match with the entry in SM59. The <gateway host name> and <gateway service> can be obtained from the transaction SMGW. When this command is executed it goes to a hanging loop.
The connection will fail once this command is terminated or the user executing this command logs off
To avoid this, instead of using the above mentioned command an entry should be made in the file saprfc.ini
To do this, execute the following command
    sudo su - <sid>adm
    rfcexec u2013D<destination name>
<destination name> is the RFC destination name in SM59
So now we are done with registering the server program, but how do we check it is registered, once a server program is registered it is displayed in the Logged on clients in SMGW.
In transaction SMGW choose GOTO-> Logged on clients. There should be an entry for the server program in the screen that is displayed with system type Registered_TP (which indicates that the program is registered)

  • Error 'Program not registered' while testing RFC - SRM to MDM / TCP/IP conn

    Hello All,
While testing RFC connection in SRM, we are getting this error. This connection between SRM to MDM. Any inputs will be highly appreciated.
    Error Details LOCATION: SAP-Gateway on host <hostname> / sapgw<instance no>
our server OS : windows 2008 server
We are getting error while doing connection test in SRM.
    This is sm59 connection (TCP/IP ) connection.
Connection Type: T / RFC destination Name: MDM_API_CATALOG
    Registered server program: hostname.MDS
I checked smgw transaction ..Logged on clients...Program id is not showing. Any hint will be helpful.
I Checked this MDM setup also.
    MDS setup
In mdm server go to folder F:\usr\sap\DM1\MDS00\config
    Open MDM.ini file in notepad
    Add the below 2 entries.
    SAP RFC Gateways= GWHOST=XXXX.hostnamexxx.xxx GWSERV=sapgw00
    Trusted SAP Systems= XXD
This will enable gateway connection between SRM and MDM and will enable trusted connection.
For trusted connections to work, we created a service user called SRM_MDM_API with SAP_ALL in SRM  and also created the same user in MDM with Default role.

    Hello SM,
    Thanks for your quick reply.
Thanks for sharing link for document ie Configure the MDM Administration_cockpit. It is helpful. I read that document.
    But still issue remain there.
The same RFC connection works between SRM sandbox to MDM sandbox.
Only issue with SRM Prod to MDM Prod (newly built system)
difference between MDM Prod and MDM sandbox.
MDM Prod runs: Windows server 2008 OS
MDM Sandbox runs: Windows server 2003 OS
    Landscape: PI7.1, MDM 7.1 and SRM 5.5, SRM-MDM Catalog 3.0
Even i did os01 tcode ping test using host name (specific IP address) from SRM prod to MDM prod, it is fine.
Thanks a lot for your help.
    I checked these notes also
    Note 353597 - Registering a server program
Note 44844 - No connection to registered RFC program
Note: in smgw tcode in SRM system, the required program id is not showing in logged on clients
    Thanks

This is a copy of a previous system on the same server with a different system number.  It has support package stack 10 with kernel patch number 121.
    Thanks,
    Joe

    Hello Joe,
From the error logs I can make out two things.
Your SAP resides on cpsaput1  while external program resides on cpamhq-sbg04 .
Now you have done a system copy on cpsaput1 from a SAP system which was connecting fine to the RFC. That connection was going through because SAP details for the old server were correctly maintained at cpamhq-sbg04  but the same has not been done for cpsaput1  . Ask the adminsitrators for cpamhq-sbg04  to make settings for cpsaput1  and then try RFC again.
    Regards.
    Ruchit.
