Line item for header material not updating in COEP table

Hi all,
from last few days, I found that when I do confirmation and GR for process order, system is updating all line ( i.e. components, activity types) but line for header material that is finished goods or semi finished goods is not updating in COEP table, I have done GR for order and transferred stock from quality too.
But still its not updating. What could be the reason for it .

Help on GOA screen control at line item for only material

Hello All
scenario:-
1. create a GOA
for a material with has alternative UOM ( CAR - ORDER UNIT ; 1 CAR - 34 ea) . So i created GOA FOR MATERILA LINE ITEM.
FOR CAR .
2. I released GOA and distributed GOA for CAR as Oeder Unit UOM.
3. now my buyer go to GOA and change UOM as EA and price I AND CHANGE THE PRICE IN THE SAME LINE ITEM.
4. No PO released against the COntract in the ECC
5. Unfortunately buyer could change this UOM from CAR to EA. now GOA shows as EA in the line item
6. this info taken to ECC via IDOC but this info never updated in ECC contract.
7. my PO release as CAR forever rather than EA since my ECC contract always shows as CAR
i can lock this item i can create a new line item, no issues.
how buyer knows each time ? if the system allows buyer always try to change rather than entering new item. it is not buyer fault. it is srm fault.
Now ican u suggest some code in ui control badi , if the PO not releases system should not allow to change the UOM in the GOA line item for a material.
PS:- once PO released against contract . srm will not allow to change the UOM . that is fine.
SAP has to correct this problem and release the note.

why SRM allows to change the UOM by the buyer after release the GOA for the same line item
if srm allows to do edit, SAP SRM and ECC has to update the same UOM in the existing purchasing contract. IDOCs carry all new uom but why not updated in ECC purchasing contract.
decided to write own logic in ui badi to protect this. what to do

Production order from sales order with multiple line item(for one material)

Dear Gurus,
I am working in MTO scenarios. If there is several line item in a sales order for one material, multiple production order( same as no. of sales order line item) is getting created against each of the line item.My requirement is,since the material code is same in each line item and sales order is one, one production order should be generated for all line item. please tell me how to do it.
(Here for one material, multiple line item is required for some specific reason)

This is not possible.
In Std SAP will create one production order for one sales order. The stock is also allocated to thet particular sales order only. Because each and every sales order may vary in any one of the parameters. Considering this, SAP has designed like this.

Dreamweaver Teamplate with Library Item for Navigation/Sidebar not updating editable classes

I have a Dreamweaver Template that contains two Library items. One Library item is my navigation bar, the other is a sidebar that shows different content depending on what page you are on. I'm assigning an editable class "active" to the navigation bar to show you are on a particular page, and also assigning the editable class "active" to the sidebar to reveal a portion of the sidebar with links pertaining to that specific page. The default value for the class is "hidden". So what is happening is when I open a page I have created and "edit" the Library Items in it to edit these classes, it resets resets all the other pages on the site to the default class values. How am I able to use editable classes and Library Items to achieve this kind of functionality? The idea is to only have ONE navigaton bar to update on the site and to only have ONE sidebar item to update. Here is an example of the sidebar and navigation in action so you can see what I'm going for. Notice the green button in the navigation bar (that is a list item with the class "active" which is an editable class in the Library Item, also notice the tan links in the sidebar, that is an unordered list that has an editable class of "active" in the Library Items --- these editable classes reset to their defaults when updating the Library Item on the website).

In my understanding, whenever you edit the contents of a library item, it will update all other occurances of this library item on the rest of the site. That's "working as designed" as far as I know, unless you break the link by telling it to not update - which kinda defeats the purpose I think.
But theres another way to do this using template properties, i#ve been using this approach myself a couple of times:
Write your navigation bar in the template (.dwt) file itself, then select the class= of your first menu item and choose .. (names might be off, I am using a non-English copy of DW): "modify > template > make attribute editable" from the main menu. Do so for all your menu items and name these new template properties something like "item_x_class"
You'll end up with something like this in your template source:
<div class="@@(item_1_class)@@">
and a matching
 in the header
Now, on each page, you can set the class within the template properties dialog ("modify > template properties"). If your main menu changes, it won't overwrite your template properties, but still update all pages when you do make a change to the menu.
If you're using multiple templates for your site, consider nesting templates, so the master template already includes your navbar and all subsequent templates will "inherit" changes to the navbar code (sans the editable class property).
Hope this helps.. or at least gives you an idea for further experiments..

Line item for cenvat clearing not getting created during miro

Hi all,
I'm in ECC 5.0. I've carried out the CIN configuration. But I am facing the following problem.
PO created for raw material. GR posted and the accounting document postings show correct figures against Stock A/c and GR/IR Account. The Part II posting also show correct figures against Cenvat A/c and Cenvat Clearing A/c. However, when I'm doing MIRO, the Cenvat Clearing A/c line item is missing. Line Items are created for Vendor Payable, GR/IR Account and Sales Tax and all these figures are correct. Only Cenvat Clearing A/c Line item is missing.

thanx for your reply. However, the tick is already there in the separate line item and also, all Excise Transactions have been maintained. Excise Accounts and G/L Accounts for all Excise transactions have already been assigned. I guess the problem is somewhere else. Can u plz throw some light? I'm in implementation project and stuck up coz of this. Need help urgently.

Some items for podcast feed not updating on itunes

1)And here are my questions. I've updated my channel title as 'Armchair Critics' but its not updated on itunes or when I check it from my iphone 4s
2)When I'm on my iphone and search for my podcast and go to the page it allows me to download individual podcasts it shows the titles of the podcast correctly
eg Armchair Critics - Ep 4x2 - blah blah blah
While Downloading the first time on my iphone it shows like this, but as soon as I DL the 2nd one the title goes to being
1 - the text after Ep 4x2, why is it dropping the Armchair Critics - Ep 4x2? I want it to show like that after downloading and viewing on my music app also(formerly iPod i think didnt have an iphone before the 4s)
3)When viewing the source of my feed I notice that for my first posts the title tags are showing as
<title>Armchair Critics - Ep1×1 - Dilshan and Captaincy</title>
it should be something like
<title>Armchair Critics - Ep4×2 - Thirimanne and Indians</title>
with 4x2, is this some sort of syntax issue, and why does it work for the latest ones and not the old ones?
4)I recently updated my image, its still not updated on itunes or when I check from my iphone, is it cuz the feed needs time to update on itunes?
5)And in general, when I make a change to the feed, how long does it take for itunes to pick up the change.
5a)Does the change happen on itunes automatically?
5b)Do I manually need to update anything? IF so how and where?
6)Also, it I wanna add more itunes tags in future like for changing date/duration etc..how do and where do I do it?

1) The title has sorted it self now on the store but not the image, looks like it has gone to some sort of default podcast image. Is it still updating? I've subscribed on a PC, what does subscribing do exactly ? I thought it would start downloading the podcasts, but nothing happened and I had to manually DL them. Again no image...
2) The text getting cut off before the x, eg 4x2 blah blah becoming 2 blah blah on iphone.
Some background - I added the feed to itunes last week. Did not look at it until yesterday. And all my titles for the podcast had the 2x1 , 2x2 in them from the start - from when I created the episodes in podbean. I only started updating yesterday (again on podbean) cuz it was not showing up ok on the iPhone. SO should it not have worked from the start ? Or am I missing somehting?
Do you think the html code for multiplication is causing it to cut off the text before the x ?
4) As stated above the image is still not visible to me on itunes after subscribing on a PC. What image do you see by the way ? It should be this?

Need a table to be printed at end of line items for each Header level

I have to print a table in the smartform at the end of all the line items.
The problem is
For example there are 2 Header Details say A B and header A has 15 line items and B has 8 line items.
Now I am printing header A line items first. Suppose each page can have 5 line items. At the end of line items for header A I need to print a table at the end of line items for each header

I have 2 tables one is the Header table and the other is Item table. After printing all the item details and then it should print the Header level details at the end of the items details.

Userexit for changing line item from header, tcode VA42, VA41

Hi All,
I have a Zfield (VBAK) for the sales document (contract) at the header level in Additional tab.
Also the same zfield is present in VBAP table for all line items.
When this field is maintained by the user using Tcode VA41 or VA42 the line item zfield should also get updated.
I am trying to find out if User Exits
1. USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAK
2. USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE
might work. Can anyone tell me if there is access to line items in the above 2 user exits which I can modify.

Yes I did use table XVBAP in uesr exit SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE.
But somehow my changed values in XVBAP table is not reflected in the table VBAP.
Am I missing something here.
My piece od code in the user exit :

Material Quantity difference document line item for HU

Dear Experts,
When I try to clear differences in LI21, i get the error message as above.
Error Message : 'Material Quantity difference document line item for HU'
Any idea why this error occurs?

Hello Shetty,
It may be due to some stock inconsistency. You may try iin case of a non HU managed storage location HU to run LX23 and it can fix discrepancy overwrting MM-IM with LE-WM data. But if it is a HU managed then you can run HUDIFF transaction but only to see if there is stock differences not to fix anything, usually SAP Support (Development Support) does that job.

But if this is a must requirement, you can do an elaborate check during order save in ORDER_SAVE BAdI and return error. So, it will be only during order save.

How to not to display any line items for val flds values are zero in KE30?

Dear All,
In KE30,in one of my reports, i do not want to display such line items for which all values are zero for all val flds, it should only display the line items for which there is any value, i have tried Zeros hide in KE35 in formatting menu>other format>hide zeros, but unofrtunately it didnt came out.

I have tried that as well in ke35 and made this option activated on my val flds like sales revenue for hide zero values, but it didnt came out as well, then in i tried ke32 change report >Extras menu>form settings, this adopts all the settings in the report from the form you have assigned, but this is not working, i am failed to understand what has gone wrong.

Line items for the PO are not automatically displayed

Hi all,
When attempting to post an invoice against PO, the line items for the PO are not automatically displayed. When we went to the Listing of PO's and brought this up, we noticed under the "invoice"tab that the: Invoice Receipt & GR-BsdIV is checked.

Can you check delivery complete indicator in PO. It is in PO item details delivery tab.
In MIRO transaction, select the tab Purchase order/scheduling agreement, enter PO number and press enter.
Right hand side select the layout all information .

Not displaying Actual cost Line Items for Order

Hi Gurus,
Recently we did patching from SPC6 to SPC8. After patching we noticed that could not able to see displaying Actual cost Line Items for Order from work order.
System is not throughing error message when I double cline on line item at Plan/Actual Comparison screen in work order cost tab.
We can able to see the same from KB01 with out any problem. I have attached the details.
Could any one suggest me please. Appreciate your thoughts

FS10N - Not displaying line items for Archiving document

Hi Experts,
When we are double clicking on the FS10N accont display balance report to get line item reprot, it is not displaying archived document data. We have also deleted secondary indexes for those archived document.
We are able to get same report while using FBL3N with Archive info structure loaded with data.
Please suggest how to do FS10N archive enabled?
