Line  item/header

THis seems to be very basic, but I want to make sure the diff between line item and header.

  • Current Header Rows Not Appearing on FBL1N - A/P Detailed Line Item Report

    Our A/P staff somehow turned off the header rows at the top of the FBL1N report.    The rows contain the various variables related to the report such as vendor name, vendor address, city, state etc.
    Does anyone know how I can change the report so that these variables once again appear on the report?

    You are not familiar with the option of individually setting header
    information or how to use maintenance transactions.
    Solution
    1.  Overview
         In the line item report you can display information in the header of
         the list (given that this information is equal for all items
         displayed).
         For example, a customer accounts clerk wants to display the
         following data in the header: account number and name of the
         customer, name and telephone number of the responsible accounting
         clerk for the customer, current date.
         You can use information taken from the account master data. General
         variables like the time and date are also available.
         The following describes how you can set up the layout of header
         information yourself. A header layout is always assigned to the
         particular display variant of the list which you set on the bottom
         of the selection screen or which you can choose using CTRL+F9 on the
         display ('Choose' button). You can therefore personalize the header
         layout as well as the remaining display layout.
         The header layout is output if the account number group is changed,
         if the list has been sorted according to the 'Account' field, and if
         a page break has been set for this field. You can maintain these

            settings under the menu option Edit -> Subtotal (Ctrl+F1).
         2.  Setting up the headers
             Choose from the menu
             Settings -> Display Variant -> Current header rows
             You now see rows in which you can arrange variables. Using the
             pushbuttons in the function bar, you can create or delete rows.
             When you position the cursor at the start position and choose
             function "Gen. variables" (Shift+F5) or "Characteristics..."
             (Shift+F8) a new variable is positioned in the header area. From the
             following dialog box, you can choose the variable (also called
             characteristic) from an inventory.
             Under "Text type", you determine whether the label for the variable
             (for example, the label 'Customer') or if the value itself should be
             used (that is, the appropriate customer number for the items
             displayed in each case). You can display pairs as follows:
             <Label>: <Value>

             Customer: 47110815
             If the value is a key for a short or long text (either a name or a
             description), you can also select this under "Text type".
             After selecting and positioning the characteristics, save and return
             to the list. The headers are displayed immediately with correct
             values so that you can check your results right away.
         3.  Save the list variant
             Choose "Save" (Ctrl+F12) in the list. In the following dialog box,
             you can enter a name and a label for the list variant that will be
             stored together with your header layout.
             Note that general variants visible to every user have a name

           hand must begin with a letter and are only visible to you.
           Standard variants delivered by SAP in general start with a number
           and have preconfigured headers. You cannot change the SAP variants,
           but you can use them as template for your own enhancements, which

    Just take a simple business example. When you visit a store and buy something you will get a bill.
    Header: On the bill header doesnt change. Like Name of a store, address, phone number, etc
    Line item: Line item changes depends upon the product you purchased.
    Schedule: It consists of the delivery of the products.
    In sap terms considering the sales point of view,.
    Hearder: sales order number, item no, date, customer, ship to party,
    Item: No of items purchased, qty, value, net value, discount etc
    Schedule: when to deliver, wher to deliver, how much to be delivered, shipping or by road etc

    Need some “URGENT” help with regards to Vendor Reporting?
    Our business has requested for a Vendor Line Item / header Report, which will display ALL Vendor Items “NET” (before tax).
    At the moment our business it manually taking out Tax in FBL1n (Vendor Line Item Report).

    Hi  Shridhar,
    All I want is a "net column" - Which will display the vendor invocie amount - BEFORE VAT (Tax).
    So on FBL1N or Another SAP-Vendor Report what I need is a
    Net Amount column and a Gross Amount Column.
    I hope this makes sense and someone can assist....

    I'm trying to print all documents of the table BSEG.

  • Header data not getting updated in line item level

    Hi,
    We are trying to update Pricing date at header level but it is not gettting copied to item level.
    getting an message "The header business data does not apply to item xxxx"
    i have checked the item category and "business item" field is checked. and for the same sales order previously we were able to change the pricing date at header level and it got applied to item level but this time is is not getting applied.
    kindly suggest.

    If there are multiple line items which are having different data; in your case, Pricing Date, then in that case, when you try to change at header level, system will pop up this message.

  • Line item Ship-to Info is not the same in Header Ship-to Party During Sales Order Creation via IDOC

    We have observed that during creation of sales order using idoc, the line item ship-to party is not the same with header ship-to. The ship-to party info in line item is equivalent to the header's sold to party. To give you a quick background, Sold to party info is given in idoc and ship to party is being determined using table EDPAR. In this specific scenario, sold to customer is not the same with ship to customer.
    Initial checking on the code leads us in function module VIEW_KUAGV. This FM populates partner details of sales order header and line item in program LVEDAF1Z
    Below is the code for Sales order Header. Notice that WE_INPUT parameter which contains Ship to party is passed as exporting parameter in FM VIEW_KUAGV. This is the reason why Ship to Party is populated correctly in sales order header but not in sales order item.
    Initially, it first set to Sold-To Party. However, if WE_INPUT is given or provided, partner details is set to Ship-To Party.
    Please advise on how we can make the ship to party info in header and line item be consistent. This is SAP Standard program which why we are hesitant to make change on the program. If there is a configuration to make this happen, kindly advise.

    If I understand you correctly, you want that when creating SO from Quoatation
    the Ship to Party also follow/copy Ship to Party from Quotation, right?
    Just to confirm with you, when you creating SO reference from Quotation, you
    use copy/follow-up function, am I right?
    You can do this by setting in configuration of Copy Control (like mentioned by Hui).
    Step as follow :
    1. Go to IMG->CRM->Transactions->Basic Settings->Copying Control for
        Business Transactions
    2. Create your BAdi (Business Add-In for Copying Control), such as get Ship to
        Party value from source document and use it in current document
    3. Use this Rule you have created in BAdi (no. 2), in copy control transaction type
        IMG->CRM->Transactions->Basic Settings->Copying Control for
        Business Transactions-> Define Copying Control for Transaction Types
    4. Here you set Copying Routine for your transaction types (put name of your Badi
        created in step no. 2)
    Or alternatively, you can set it on access sequence in Partner Function
    Ship to Party in configuration. You can define access sequence the Ship
    to Party is taken from Preceeding Document -> Ship To Party
    1. Go to Partner Function access sequence :
        IMG->CRM->Basic Functions->Partner Processing->Define Access Sequence
    2. Create new access sequence with following entry :
        - Source COM_PARTNER_A (PrecedingPartner)
        - Check Mapping for Partner Being search
        - Partner Function in Source  = Ship To Party
    3. Assign this Access Sequence in you Partner Function used in Sales Order Transaction
       Type.

  • BOM header qty change if BOM line item qty delivered more in previous deliv

    Dear team
    BOM is as follows:
    Finished product
          Material1   100 Units
          Material2   100 Units
    Lets say i create a sales order with 2 units of finished products
    then my sales order will look like:
    Finished Product 2 units
          Material1   100 Units
          Material2   100 Units
    Now i am trying to create a delivery for 1 unit of finished product
    Finished Product 1 units
          Material1   150 Units
          Material2   100 Units
    Here i change the Material1 quantity from 100 to 150 Units and create delivery.
    Now i am creating a second delivery
    In the delivery order i am getting as:
    Finished Product 0.5 Units
         Material1   50 Units
         materail2  50 Units
    But i want
    Finished Product 1 units  (as my finished product open quantity is 1M3)
        Material1   50 Units
        material2  100 units
    Can this be achieved.  Because of more despatch of BOM line items my header BOM item should not change.  It should be same as my open quantity in delivery.

    It depends upon how u are maintaining the BOM. The components calculated is based on the BOM base qty.

  • Line item Net value is not coming in Header Net Value

    Hi All,
    I have four conditions
    1) A condition with condition cat.Price this is annual price condition and condition value comes from condition record.
    2) B condition with condition cat.Discount & Surcharge this is monthly dis. and condition value comes from condition record.
    3) C condition with condition cat.Discount & Surcharge this is monthly dis. and condition value comes through pricing routine(formula value).
    4) D condition with condition cat.Discount & Surcharge this is monthly dis. and condition value comes by USER EXIT (this value is basically pervious month condition C Net value) .
    5) E condition with condition cat.Discount & Surcharge this is monthly dis. and condition value comes through pricing routine (formula is condition C - D and resultant value should come in condition E)
    When i am creating sales order for Jan month sales order
    condition A , B, C is considered and value of condition E comes perfectly in net value column of line item and in net value of sales header matches.
    But When i creating sales order for Feb month sales order header net value
    condition A , B, C, D is considered and value of condition E comes perfectly in net value column of line item and in net value of sales header does not match. In net value of header system is considering only Condition value C.
    So my query is why system is considering condition C value and why not the Net value of line item.
    My PP is as follow:

  • Header Details to be Printed only for the line item details.

    I have the following requirement.
    I have Page1 with the Logo, Header Window, Vendor Window, Send Invoice To, Delivere Invoice To and Main Window. Main Window Starts from the middle of the page. In the Page2 i have Logo, Header window and Main Window. In the Page3 i have only Main Window.
    In the Footer of the Main Window i have Placed the Terms and conditions which should always be Printed in the New Page. So in the footer i have given a command "Go to New Page " and given the page as Page3.
    The requirement is Logo,and Header Window should appear only for the Line items and not for the Terms and conditions.
    For the Page1 i have given the Next Page as Page2. Suppose if there is only one line item then it Prints in the first Page itslef and the control flows to the Page2 and since in the page2 i have given the condition for the Logo and header window to print only if line item is more than 1 and since Main Window is starting from the middle there is a blank Space appearing in the start of the page.
    The command i have given in the footer to trigger new page that is page3 is not getting triggered. If there are more than one line item then its printing the logo and header window and so there is no blank space appearing and it is working fine.
    Please let me know how to avoid this blank space and move my main window to the start of the Page if there is only one line item.

    I am a little bit confused regarding your query,

    When you say footer of main window does it mean , that you are using a table inside your main window and the command node your have inserted is in the footer of the table ?.I hope it is, because my suggestion is based on this assumption.
    Well my suggestion for your issue is,
    1.I  hope you are aware we can trigger a next page in two ways, one by setting the next page static attribute & second using  the command node which you have used.In your case you will have to use a combination of both.
    2.I feel your First page design is ok. Set its static next page attribute to PAGE2. Similarly set the static next page attribute for PAGE2 as PAGE2 itself. This should take care of your table which you have placed in the main window. If the table contains only one lineitem it will get over in the first page itself. If the lineitems are more in the table, it will automatically triggerPAGE2 (since static next page attribute for PAGE1 is PAGE2)  and the remaining line items will be displayed. Now no matter how many lineitems you have ,PAGE2 will be triggered repeatedly(since static next page for PAGE2 is PAGE2 itself) until the entire data in your table is displayed.
    In this way your requirement of printing the logo and header windows for the data lineitems only will be fulfilled.
    3.Now the last catch in your case is the printing of PAGE3(The terms and condition page) on an entirely new blank page.
       In the footer section of the table which you have used,  use a command node set to PAGE3.  After the command node and under the same  footer section now insert your terms and condition lineitem.
    Also Check the "at End of table" checkbox and uncheck " AT PAGE BREAK" under OUTPUT OPTIONS tab for the footer section.
    So now this footer section will be triggered only once after all the data in the table is displayed
    4. So now if there is only one lineitem, before the default second page is triggered the command node will trigger the PAGE3 and the terms and condition will be displayed.Else if there are more lineitems the page2 will be triggered again and again and finally when all the lineitems are over, the footer of the table will get triggered. So the command node will take you to the PAGE3 wherin the terms and condition will only be displayed.

  • Sales BOM Header line item confirmed without components in Delivery

    Hi Experts,
    The issue is about the delivery is created with the single component for the Sales BOM where as it contains two.
    We have analyzed the issue and checked that the missing component would have not been available in the stock during the time when the delivery is created and hence is not included(Header material and single component is included in the Delivery).
    The user's concern is; when there is no stock for any one of the component, then it shouldn't have confirmed the header material. Kindly suggest.

    It seems to me that you want to use Delivery Group for Sales BOM where If Mat A = Mat B + Mat C and Mat B Availability date is 20/07/2014 (DD/MM/YYYY) and Mat C availability is 25/07/2014 then Main line item should be confirmed with 25/07/2014.
    If any one sub Item is not available, then Any of the item from the Grouping should not be dispatched.
    If this is the requirement then, In Item Category (VOV7) for main Item update Create Delivery Group field with X and your requirement will be fulfilled.

  • Shopping cart header status differs to status at line item level

    Hello
    I am using SRM 5.5 EC, got a situation where there is a single line shopping cart which has been approved. The status on the header is still showing "awaiting approval" but at line item level it shows as being "approved" and no follow on document has been created.
    Can anyone help and let me know why this has happened and how to change the header status now?

  • Header and Line Item reporting (MultiProvider)

    Hello All,
    We have data coming in from a LO Extractor.  There are 2 extractors.  1 for line item the other for Header.  The line item extractor has all the fields for both so we decided to use this extractor (the line item).
    Question is, when extracting this data multiple records come over.  Let's say the order has 2 line items.  It brings over a header record and then 2 line item records.  We have it going to an ODS and then Cube.  The ODS key is order number and item.  Well the header record comes over with item number #, so 3 records hit the ODS.
    How do you handle this?  We saw something about denormalization and make this header record item number a 0.
    Can someone explain to us how to handle this?  We also read about a Constant selection and loading the header record and line item as we are to both the InfoCube, but we just don't understand this solution.

    Item level will have all fields those are in Header level.Header level data will be a subset of Item level data.Load only Item level and when you require header data remove Item number in that relevant DSO and you can see all the data summarized to header level in overwrite mode.
    This will not be good option if you require some fields that may have different records in the header and the item.
    One better option is create a secondary staging DSO that updated by header, item and schedule line level and you can choose your own data fields and key fields. You can update them in overwrite mode to have summarized records that avoids duplication of records from header and item for same document.
    Constant selection wil be helpful in the report level not during load process.

    This will ensure total displayed is constant even after navigation. So it hides repetitive records displaying after drilldown.

    SELECT T0.CardCode, T0.CardName, T1.ItemCode, T1.Dscription, T1.Quantity FROM OINV T0  INNER JOIN INV1 T1 ON T0.DocEntry = T1.DocEntry
    If you are using QPLD for this then you can sort and group header items so that not to repeat again n again with row items.
