Lining up tracks? Disable grid function? HELP

Okay, being new to the program I did something stupid (deleted a portion of my track when I simply could have silenced it or taken another approach), and caused it to move out of sync. I didn't record to a metronome, so to get it lined up with the other tracks again I need to move it, but I don't know how? It only let's me move the region at intervals determined by the grid. I've seen other people work in other recording programs and simply look where a specific event happens in a soundwave, and then line another one up with it at the same point, is there something like this in logic? HELPPPPPPPPP

other than the sound advice given, just open the sample editor and move the anchor to a decent cue point like a downbeat, than cue the file in the arrange page.
i do this routinely with every audio file created.
i never totally trust my ears as far as exact positioning goes.

Not able to use multiple grid function in smartview

Hi,
One of my client want to use multiple grid function in Hyperion smartview and he was using latest version of Hyperion smartview 11.1.2.5. But still that feature was not enabled in smart view.
Our's is windows environment and essbase server version 11.1.2.1 and APS version 11.1.2.1.

Disabling tab functionality in a field

Dear all,
How do you disable tab functionality in a field in sap b1 2005? I would just like to have a formatted search on the field.

Hi Monil
Is this at row level? If so, then set it as visible but not active in the Form settings. If it is a header field, then consider that the TAB is to validate a field and changing standard SAP logic is not advisable. Some more information on the exact field type will help me guide you better.

just open data block property set property "number of record displayed=10"
so u can see 10 records at time like grid in vb or .net
u can navigate record using up/down key.
it's not a grid but mulit record data block.

1. Create a smart form in the R/3 side
2. Now create a function module with the corresponding export parameter:
3. Make sure that the function module is marked remote enabled.
4. In NWDS create an Adaptive RFC model which points to the FM created in R/3 under the webdynpro application
5. Now create an application and view inside it to display the PDF and Insert a frame inside the view
6. Create a value node and an attribute say url of type string inside that node and bind it to the source

Inside that view create a method to convert the string to url so that it can be passed as a string to the setUrl method of the currentContextElement() , say convet(byte[] doc_content) which return a string.

Is there a grid function?

I would like to create templates with accurate positioning of elements. I use a grid function in other app to do this. I can not see any grid in Pages 08. Only grid is in numbers graph.
Omnigraffle does have this option and so indesign does. I cannot find it in Pages. Who knows whether it exists.

That answers a question I was thinking of asking. If your Vertical Ruler is off, you're working in a Word Processing document rather than in Page Layout. No matter though, I was just curious. Vertical Ruler is always visible in Page Layout. Follow Yvan's instructions for activating your Vertical Ruler.
In my experience, it helps to have at least one Floating Object on your page in order to create your first Guide line. I know that this isn't always the case, but I have found that if the ruler refuses to produce a Guide line, adding a Floating Object and trying again does the trick.

Disable KM functionality (UWL)

Hello all,
the UWL is the only part of the KMC we are using. The question i have, is it possible to disable additional functionality?
E.g. when you have a workiten, it does show the sender of the respective workitem. When you click on the sender you get an pop-up window with further information about the sender (name, email etc). Would it be possible to disable this functionality, so you just see the name of the sender of a workitem in the UWL, but its not a link, just plain text?

Need details about the Snap to Grid function

I wanted to repair a problem in a guitar track, So I opened a new track and recorded over the problem. I though that with the Snap to Grid function I could slide the new version on the old track without having to worry about the region moving horizontally. That's what's happening, it is impossible to move the track without changing the timing of the track.
Is it normal?

Install freeware hardware diagnostic software like for example SANDRA Sisoft, Everest Home Edit or HWiNFO32.
Such tools provide you all essential information about the built in parts and the HDD controller.
Please post some feedback would be interesting to know what SATA controller details would be reported by such tool.

Hi
I dont think that a field can be disabled and allows to choose data using f4 simultaneously. you can enable the field and allow the user to select whatever he/she wants.
Then in any action like on press of save or submit button which the user will trigger after entering the values, get the value entered by the user in that perticular field and fire a query on the table/view, which you have used as selection method of your search help, it help is coming from data element then look for check table in domain. if sy-subrc comes 0 than go ahead else give error that value selected is modified.

I have the same problem with mine... but im trying to find a way to fix it without restoring it...
but one fix is to shut it down completely ... then press and hold BOTH the power button and the home button .. hold both of those 4 ten seconds .. then release the power button but still hold down the home button .. and then it'll show something that says "connect to itunes" once u get it connected to itunes , click the restore button ... BEWARE THIS WILL WIPE OUT EVERYTHING ON YOUR IPOD!!! IT WILL RESTORE IT BACK TO FACTORY SETTINGS , AS IF U JUST BOUGHT IT !!!!! then it should work fine again .. but u will lose all data on there besides the things you have synced with itunes already..
Thats y im iffy with doing this , im trying to find a fix where i wont have 2 restore it but i dont think there is 1 :'(

The mac's that I have not upgraded to icloud still see my routers over the internet with mobile me enabled. Are these routers obsolete now or will there be a firmware update to use icloud?
