Link attachment(Contract) with SAP R/3 and IXOS

I have an scenario, whenever a contract gets created and the same data will be sent by xml format to Deliveryware system. And Deliveryware will create PDF against XML.
And we have job which will pick the PDF file to IXOS system.
Now my actual requirement is to link the document to Contract(ME33K), actual document will be IXOS but the document can be viewed in R/3.
Is there any settings to do apart from OAC2 and OAC3.

hi,
below is the path to assign the lowr level contracts to master contracts
step1: IMG--Sales and distribution salessales documentscontractsmaster contracts---define referencing requirements
1.define reference sales document type: here lower level contracts are assigned to master contracts
2.define referencing procedures: here filelds are categorized into 3 parts
1.Identical fields: a master contract can only be referenced by a contract if the fields in the master contract and low level contracts matches
2.Copy fields: the values of these fields are copied from master contract into lower level contract .deviating values in the lower level contracts are not allowed
3. proposal fields: like copying fields are be over written
choose the standard reference procedure SDGK and copy it and rename it (ZSDK)
Select our procedure
click on fields control button under dialog structure
go to new entries and maintain entries in the table like below

group referencing procedure-ZDSK
contract data allowed=X
Check update low level contract
SAve it
Step 3: go to transaction code VA41
Specify document type=gk
specify the sold to party number
specify the description
specify contract start date=01
specify the end date=10
save it and note down the master contract number
Again go to VA41 and raise quantity contract
specify description
specify contract start date and end date (like master contract validity periods)
and assign Master contract number that was created in the previous step
Save it and exit
Go it VA41 of the master contract and check qty contract has been assigned or not

Commerical website with SAP CRM capabilties and web2.0

hi all,
we're looking into revamping our company's website. It'll be mostly a B2B website (in the future b2c). We're looking into finding a Content Managment System (CMS) that can handle most of the work so people form our marketing department will be making change without manipulating the code. Most importantly we need the website to be able to link into our SAP CRM. The only simliar products i was able to find was CoreMedia and Sybit. Do you guys recommend any kind of a CMS?

I used 4 diff. building block to work with SAP CRM 2007 and BI 7.0 Activation Steps. Please note that BASIS, CRM & BI team members has to do their respective activities mentioned as per the building blocks to make CRM <> BI reports visible in CRM....

Dynamic attachment name with receiver mail adapter and use mail package

We need to send mapped XML payload as attachment (with dynamic name) to a recepient (recepient email id is part of input xml payload, but not part of the mapped XML payload).
I could probably do this using the adapter module (as per the following link),

I would like to explore if this would be feasible using Mail package and XI payload.I already have a Java mapping that is converting the input XML to required Output format. If I am using Mail package (XI Payload), how do I go about sending this Output XML from java mapping as attachment to email id available in the input payload?

1) XML payload as attachment (with dynamic name)
2) recipient (recipient email id is part of input xml payload, but not part of the mapped XML payload)
These two is possible by using Mail Package. You have a standard xsd for mail package which you can download from the SAP Note 748024.
The xml created in you java mapping which will be your attachment should be put into the <content> tag of the mail package xml structure. and the file name can be set in the <Content_Type> tag.

De-link PPM Item with SAP Project

Hello,
Can somebdoy throw a light on what to do in case I want to de-link a PPM-item with SAP project.This situation may rise if I want to change the project actuals going to bucket A to bucket B.As I can not change the relationship of an item with the bucket, I am looking for alternate solution where I can de-link SAP Project with SAP PPM item.

If you are meaning to de-link a PS Project from a PPM Item, you can from the Item navigate to the 'Relationships' tab and then on the 'object links'sub-tab select and delete the assignment:
You can also remove a cProject relationship by clicking the 'Related Objects' sub-tab
Your comment that you cannot move an Item to a new Bucket - is this because your business process does not allow you to do so? Because this is definitely possible in the system.

Service line item History for Contracts with item cat - D and Acc Assg P

Hello Gurus,
We have a situation where we create contract with item category D (Service) and account assignment category P (Projects). And for the line items of the PO we have difference services (without a service master) and each service line item has the price and quantity and other required fields. Now it is required to change the price or the quantity or both for this service line time and again (business requirement).
The task is to to track the price changes and the quantity changes that have happened to the serive line item from the original and we require the report to diplay the original price and the present price on the service line.
The question is: Is there a standard report in SAP to handle this? Or which are the tables where a service line items history is stored so that it can lead to a development.

We are using a Percentage based case (Prorata case)
For Eg : For Eg for 65% (65KAI )material Price 1000 Rs
If the Purity percentage varies payment will be done as per the same. For eg : for 70% (70KAI ) Price 1200 Rs. (approx)
In this case unit of measurement is KAI (kilo active ingredient) .
Actually we are dealing with dealer price where duties are entered Inclusive of the total price and entered at the time of making GR. and the payment is made as per the same;
we have one po for 5000 MT. where we received material at first time Qty being 1993 MT.The duties manuallyentered are as follows :BED :24,167.00
AED : 7,076.00
ECS : 483.00
SECES : 242.00
These duties are flowing correctly in MIRO
and the MIRO has been Posted and payment is also made.
But while the balance quantity 2982 kg we received next time and those duties are as flowing as follws:
BED : 36160
AED : 10587
ECS : 723
SECS : 362
But here at the MIRO the following duties are flowing instead of above
BED : 36,526.08
AED : 10,694.18
ECS : 730.32
SECS : 365.66
What might be the error at this stage.

This should be achieved in Unix environment.

We use F5 for loadbalancing, but all hardware loadbalancing solutions should similar. They offer multiple algorithms, we use simple round robin (SAP's webdispatcher has better options for load balancing). You create virtual IP to your CISCO loadbalancer. You then configure Cisco to route traffic to each portal application server. If you have CI + 2 appservers, you configure the loadbalancer to send traffic to cihost:port, appserver1:port, appserver2:port. You also create a DNS alias to the virtual IP of the loadbalancer. End users will use the DNS alias to connect your portal. Typically you use standard ports (80 & 443) on Cisco, so that end user URL does not contain any ports (so http traffic goes to port 80, https goes to port 443). You also need to enable cookie persistence on the load balancer for session persistence.
For external facing portal, you need to have your loadbalancer in DMZ and you want to use SSL. You also need to setup firewall rules for your portal and backend servers.

Org management (integration with SAP ECC 6) and shopping cart approval

Background:
We currently use EBP 3.0 - Classic Scenario.
Our current Organisational plan was manually created in EBP, and is not the same as the HR hierarchy in SAP ECC 6
Shopping cart approvals use the workflow WS10000276 u2013 Approval Single Level over Limit, which utilises the SLAPPROVER attribute. The user name assigned to the SLAPPROVER attribute does not have to be the manager of the user. To meet our Business requirements, a fairly flat structure was created at the time we implemented EBP 3.0. The approval level an approver is allowed to approve up to is controlled with the use of roles assigned to a user. Each of the approval roles has an appropriate value set against the BBP_APPROVAL_LIMIT attribute under Personalisation.

We are just about to move from EBP 3.0 to SRM 7.0 u2013 Classic Scenario - by carrying out a new installation.
Our Business requirement has changed, in that they want the approval of shopping carts to be carried out by the line manager, if that person can approve the value of the shopping cart. If not, for the approval to go up the HR hierarch until a manager with a suitable level of approval is found.
I believe it is possible to create the Organisational structure in SRM from the HR hierarchy in SAP ECC 6. I have tried to do this in our play/test system using - Integration Business Partner-Organizational Management, without much success as yet!
I have a few questions in this area:
1.     Not all of the users in the SAP ECC 6 HR hierarchy will be SRM users. E.g. In the SAP
             hierarchy there are 3 users u2013 User A, User B and User C. User B is the manager of User
             A and User C is the manager of user B. In SRM only User A and User C are users. That
             being the case, is it still possible to initially create the organisational in SRM from SAP ECC6?
2.     If it is possible to create the organisational structure as described, then using Process
             Controlled Workflow we could use the Shopping Cart BC Set One-step manager approval.
     If we did this, what would be the best way to incorporate the approval limit of a manager?
     Can this be simply achieved by setting the BBP_APPROVAL_LIMIT attribute in conjunction
             with the One step manager approval?
     We want to avoid having to use the SLAPPROVER attribute due to the high level of
             maintenance we currently experience.

As Noted in the Question, the user can make a successful Video chat connection albeit without incoming Video being shown.
The Connection Doctor from iChat Video menu says there is a incoming feed.
Testing and work by Defcom proved this to be the Installation of Perian 1.1.3 from http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/video/perian_christopherforsythe.html
Perian 1.1.3 (a Quicktime add-on that uses a System Preferences like Flip4Mac) causes problems in both iChat versions when the OS is at either 10.4.11 or 10.5.6
This includes deliberate installs and automatic updates by the Preferences Panel (In System Preferences)
The Solution
Download and downgrade to Perian 1.1.2 and turn Off Auto Updates in the Control Panel
Process
Use the Un-install check box in the Perian Preference Pane panel.

I have an issue with my 3G connection: my iphone can't connect anymore to the data network even though I have a contract with unlimited internet access and the date/3G is turned ON. Anyone knows this problem ?

This problem showed up a few days ago. Even though I have turned on the 3G and the cellular data, my phone tells me there is actually no connection. But the network indicators shows a maximum network. I went to the genius bar and they fixed it by restoring the phone and it started working again. Then I restored it at home with my back up. Today, it started again: network issue. And the problem does not come from the network (I have tried my sim on another iphone with the same carrier). It really does come from the device.
Any ideas ?

Using WAS 6.40 with SAP 4.7 and WAS 6.20

Hi,
We want to upgrade from R/3 4.6C to 4.7 (R/3 Enterprise).
As we are planning to develop new apps mostly on the web side, we want to use web dynpro.
As far as I have understood the articles about web dynpro and the versions of WAS and R/3, we need the WAS 6.40 to use web dynpro technology. The R/3 4.7 only shipps with WAS 6.20, so we can't use the web dynpro 'out of the box'.
Now my question:
Is there a chance to use the WAS 6.40 (only the Java stack I suppose) for the web dynpro stuff and communicate to the WAS 6.20 running the R/3 system or communicate directly with the 4.7 R/3 system?
Can I use the benefits of the web dynpro technology or is only the half of the technology available/running with this architecture?
Has anyone experience with this or is my whole idea too adventurously?
Has anyone better ideas how to use web dynpro with a R/3 4.7 backend?
Any comments, hints or ideas are welcome...

Our web projects are all based on the 'old' JCO API and so we are familiar with this kind of programming.
Does anybody know if you have to have NW 04 installed to use Visual Composer or is WAS 6.40 sufficient ?
And: Does WAS 6.40 supports the Connector Framework or do I have to use the JCO API directly?
