Link back to wikis

Is there a way to automatically have a link back to the list of wikis (/groups) in my navbar, so that the user can easily choose another wiki to visit? I have individual intranet wikis for my departments and for our company's projects. At the top level of the wikiserver (/), in the navbar, there is the link called 'wikis' (which takes me to itself, /groups/). When I go into one of my four wikis, that 'wikis' button is gone, now replaced by a 'wiki' button (singular, not plural), which points back to that particular group. I need a button to go back to the list of wikis.
Thanks!

Yeah, but then everyone has to do that -- pretty ugly! Where does the page live that contains the template for a page for a given theme? Is it some combination of PHP and other files that determines at run-time whether those links should be there? I'm just getting started with the SLS WikiServer, so I haven't really figured out what's where and how it interacts.

  • How can I send email using two different email address that both link back to my one exchange account on my Ipad mini

    How can I send email using two different email address that both link back to my one exchange account on my Ipad mini?
    On my PC I simply have a master return email address and use a POP for the secondary address.  Both are through the one exchange account without a problem.  I need to be able to do the same on my Ipad.

    Ah, I should have made that clear.  My domain didn't come from google.  It was purchased at and is hosted at dreamhost, but I haven't used their email servers in years - I just route everything through gmail.  I actually have a bunch of domains (with websites).
    Gmail has an option that lets someone with custom domains send (and receive) email through gmail using the custom domain once Google confirms proper ownership of the domain (to prevent spammers and such).  Gmail has a setting for "send email as" which allows gmail to be sent using a custom domain as the sender.  I'm pretty sure Apple's old mobileme had this feature too, but I didn't use it.

  • How do I get my buttons to link back to a Symbol?

    Hi all -- I am an extreme newbie at Flash and AS3....I've just been reading all I can this past week and trying to put
    together what I had hoped was a simple project in flash for our Website banner. I'll try to describe my project and the part that I am stuck at.
    Here is our current website: http://www.sherware.com
    You'll see a large green banner near the top of the page that advertises one of our products. In Flash, I have created a rotating banner with five images like the one shown on our site. I have it rotating on an 8-second basis, and I have it so that when someone clicks on my invisible button (the whole banner part) that it goes to that product's web page.
    So far, so good. I've also added five small buttons in the bottom right corner, so that someone can hover over them and go back to one of the rotating images if they missed what was shown, etc.
    I have figured out how to create the buttons and have them shown red, when hovered on each layer. The part that I am stuck at, is I don't know how once I write my action for each button, to have them link back to one of these rotating banner images. I know this is possible, I just don't know AS3 or any programming for that matter to understand what my options are for the function script.
    I have each one set up as an instance so that I can add the EventListener when they click on it, I just don't know what to put other than a URL, since that is all I am familiar with. If you know how to get me to link my project to this forum so you can see the actual project, please let me know!
    Thanks in advance for any help!

    Put a label in the begininng frame for each image and use those labels in the code. Let's say for that code you showed you add a frame label "red_btn" where you want that button to take you...
    function gotoBanner1(event:MouseEvent):void
         gotoAndPlay("red_btn");
    Red1_btn.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, gotoBanner1);

  • How to create a dropdown menu with sub buttons that link back to the labels on click.

    im trying to create a dropdown menu buttons that when you rollover to the top central button the button it opens up like a drop down menu would containg two other subsectional buttons. This makes the sub sectional buttons seperate from the main stage making it difficult to simply give them a on click,  sym.play("label") function.
    the buttons work like this in symbols or sections stage/panel/homebutton inside home button is group dev containg another group dev containg the button which I need to link back to a "label" in the /panel/ symbol or section. Thank you very much.

    Hi!
    I would like to create a DVD menu that offers two languages. So the first page gives two options: Language 1 and Language 2. Then depending on which language you choose, you go to a menu that proposes different videos and a photo slideshow.
    Regardless on which language button you click on initially, you get the same content but in different languages.
    I've been looking at Premiere's templates, which I can certainly customize, but I really don't see how to create the double menu. Does anybody have an idea?
    Put the video with the first language on the timeline followed by the video with the second language.  Use chapter markers so you can have each video as a chapter in the menu.
    I use Premiere Pro, so I can't give more specific directions. Perhaps somebody like ATR will chime in.
    Also, I have another question: can I put videos from different projects in the same DVD with Premiere or must all of the videos that go into the DVD be in the same project?
    Thank you very much!!!

    They must be in the same project.

  • Is there a way to link or create a widget that links back to the iTunes U app on your iPad from your iBook?

    Is there a way to link or create a widget that links back to the iTunes U app on your iPad from your iBook?
    I have already found the Apple Widget Builder (http://widgets.itunes.apple.com/builder/) and that works fine if you want to link to the "App Store", but I want to know if there is a way to "open an app" that is already installed on the iPad instead of double tapping the home button to switch between apps. (I know using the home button is very simple, but I am trying to find an even easier way to just "tap a widget" or "link" that will open iTunes U right up) I am only asking if this is possible for people who may have a hard time running an iPad at the beginning.
    I appreciate any help, thanks!

    I appreciate your help, but I had already looked at LinkMaker and I thought that was my answer, but as far as I could tell that still only links to an app in the app store. Yes it will link to iTunes U in the app store and you can then hit Open, but that is too drawn out of a process. We would like to know a way to just open the app directly.
    Thank you!

Is there a way to link the Iphoto thumbnails back to the original files?

    Use the Firewire cable and t boot the old Mac's hard drive to the new Mac's desktop and transfer your entire iPhoto folder.
    Use Disk Utiliy to erase'format HFS+ Journaled your TimeMachine drive and use the free Carbon Copy Cloner and clone your new boot drive to the external, it's hold option bootable.

  • Navigation links--Back, Next--within a site

    GoLive 7. Mac OS 10 final Tiger.
    EXPLANATION
    I have created pages containing thumbnails of my portfolio. There are 10 categories of work. Each thumbnail is 120 pxl wide if it is a one-page item or smaller, and 2-page spreads are typically 240 pxl wide.
    The max number of items per page of thumbnails is 13. If there are more pieces to show in that category, I have created an additional page.
    I also have 600 pxl images of each of those thumbnails. The goal is for a viewer who wants a closer look at the item to click on the thumbnail and then see the larger-size view of it.
    Once I place the larger-size image on a page, it is easy to create a link from the thumbnail to that larger-size image.
    QUESTIONS
    On the larger-view page, would I need to create a link back to the category so a viewer can see what other thumbnails they'd like to click on to see the larger view? Or is there a less back-and-forth concept for doing this?
    Can the larger-view page have a "Back" button if the viewer wants to review the thumbnails in that category? Can it also have a "Next" button so the viewer can see the next larger-view image without going back?
    Reviewing two manuals I find no way to create either a "Back" or a "Next" button or link but since I've found them on other sites, I assume I can do this. Is there a simple way?
    Thank you.

    There are many ways to achieve what you want. However quite a few of
    them such as Lightbox
    require that you
    edit the source code. This can become tricky and if you're not
    comfortable with that, I'd recommend an alternative solution...
    GL comes with an action called "Set Image URL" which is very useful to
    build galleries. Nini has an excellent tutorial on how to use it:
    as well as a sample gallery:
    If this looks good to you, here is what I would suggest...
    for every image category build a page that contains a large placeholder
    image, where you want the full-size images to appear, and place all the
    thumbs on that same page, too. Then use the Set Image URL action to swap
    out the placeholder image for the full-size version of the thumb when
    it's clicked on as described in Nini's tutorial.
    If you get stuck post back.
    Cheers Martin

    English is not my native language (I used Wikipedia to understand RTFM !!!).
    I used to copy&paste some lines from the manuals when a post can be answered directly that way (why to write it again if it's well written there?).
    This is my "last upgrade": I uploaded some captured images from the manual to use easier in this kind of frequent questions. I like to show that the information was right there in the manual . . . but I really find the expression RTFM a little hard !

  • ITunes randomly loses the location info for my songs. How can I stop this and how can I get everything linked back to itunes easily?

    ITunes ranodmly loses the location info for my songs. How can I stop this from happening? How can I get all of my song locations linked back to iTunes without individually pointing to the location of each one?

    Hi Frantic503,
    Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!
    When you are the Family Sharing organizer, purchases are billed to your account unless the family member making purchases has an iTunes Gift Card or iTunes credit on their account. The attached article has more information on how this process works.
    Family Sharing - Apple Support
    What I may suggest in your situation would be to discontinue the Family Sharing and use iCloud calendar sharing. Using this method keeps your accounts separate but allows you to still share your calendar.

  • Can you link back to an iweb homepage from a .mac gallery?

    Hi,
    I'm able to link from my iweb site to my .mac gallery, but how do I get back to my iweb site once I'm there? Can you put a link back from the .mac gallery to my iweb homepage?
    Thanks,
    Brian

    On my page the link to the dotMac webgallery opens in in a new window. So there's no need to link back. Just close the window.
    In case the gallery opens in the same window, you have to use the Previous page button.
    You cannot add a link anyway, since there's no page to edit. The page(s) are created bij dotMac.

  • Is It Possible To Change A Visited Link Back To Its Original Color???

    Hi,
    I am trying to figure out if there is a way in Dreamweaver to change a visited link back to the orignal color it was before you visited it?
    Another words, I have some links on the webpage I am creating.  I set the "link colors" to brown.  Then I set them to blue once they become "visited links".  This is indeed exactly what I want my webpage to do.  HOWEVER, when working on my page in Dreamweaver and having to constantly preview it in a browser, I don't want the links to remain blue.  Every time I preview my page in a browser the links are all blue because I have already clicked on them before while previewing them.  I am wondering if there is a way to like refresh the page you are building so that the links go back to the original brown color, so that each time I preview my page the links will be brown and not blue?
    Anyone know if there is a way?
    Thanks.

    Ha, I found out what to do.  It had nothing to do with Dreamweaver.  It was simply my browser remembering I had already previewed that page.  All I did was simply clear my private data out my browser, and voila, the links were back to brown!

  • Linking back from movie clips

    I want my menu bar to be in a movie clip. How do I link back
    to a frame in the main timeline from a movie clip?

    Hi velob54,
    Interesting question...
    This solution concerns actionscript 3.
    I put an object on frame 10 of the main timeline, and on
    frame 1 put this actionscript:
    stop();
    then I created a symbol with class name, MyMC and on it's
    first frame added the following code:
    var t:Timer = new Timer(1000);
    var tFunc:Function;
    var mt:MovieClip = this.parent as MovieClip; // [object
    MainTimeline]
    t.addEventListener( TimerEvent.TIMER, tFunc =
    function(e:TimerEvent):void
    t.removeEventListener(TimerEvent.TIMER, tFunc );
    mt.gotoAndStop(10);
    t.start();
    I then added an instance of MyMC to frame 1 of the main
    timeline after stop();
    stop();
    addChild(new MyMC());
    When I run the movie, after 1 second, the playhead jumps to
    frame 10.
    Hope this helps.

  • How to make link to another wiki page open in same WebCenter window

    I have a WebCenter wiki page that contains a Flash object. Within the Flash object, there's a link to another wiki page that is in the same group space. When I click on the link, however, it opens another Webcenter window within (inside) the original one instead of opening the destination wiki page in place of the current one. In effect, I end up seeing two navbars at the top and left.
    How do I fix this problem?

    Brilliant, Jon. Thank you so much. For those of you who stumble on this, I did have a tiny bit of trouble when I edited the actionscript; the video didn't play as expected. After trial and error, this is the code that worked both in playing the video and opening up in the same browser window:
    navigateToURL(new URLRequest("http://www.paris-pet.com/home.html"),"_self");
    The difference seems to be this:  ")     before the comma prior to "_self");
    Again, Jon -- thanks!

    When I send my ical link to my better half , who sadly, still uses a windows based system- He cannot open the link back to my calendar- any help?

    I've been using iCloud since it's inception as "mac.com" or whatever it was called. I've been able to Sync Outlook Exchange Calenars to my iMac, iPhone and iPad. However, I cannot get iCal (when viewed in iCloud) to display Exchange or Google Calender items.
    It's odd, all other Mac versions of iCal are happy e.g. iMac, MacBook Air, iPad Air, iPhone etc. But nothing when I login to icloud.com and look at the iCal there.

  • Cant get buttons to work after linking back

    I have built a flash page that links to html pages. The buttons in the flash movie also link to movie frames in the flash and external html pages. Once movie plays and stops, all links work fine, the links to the anchors and the links to the other html pages, however when I try and link back to the flash movie from an external html page, to specific frames in the flash movie, the html link will link back to flash movie frame fine, however once your back in the flash movie, none of the buttons in the movie work anymore.
    I have embedded the flash movie in an HTML and published it with anchors,"home, about, events etc.
    used this code for several buttons in the flash linking to frame anchors in the movie:
    home_btn.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, handler);
    function handler (event:MouseEvent):void
         gotoAndPlay (300, "Scene 1");
    This code for the buttons to html pages in the movie:
    members_btn.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, clickHandler);
    function clickHandler (event:MouseEvent):void
         navigateToURL (new URLRequest ("http://plowonstore.com/members.html"), "_self");
    And this code for the html link back to flash frame anchors:
    <a href="http://plowonstore.com/flash/index.html#home">the button in html page<a/>
    I can't get the buttons in the movie to work once you go back to flash from html links. What am I doing wrong?
    I have search for days now... till I'm blue, can anybody steer me in the right direction please.
    Thanks.

    The flash is 410 frames main movie ends at 393. Buttons appear at lets say frame 115, so at frame 115 I have an action layer with the above code, and blocked(?) extended out all the way to frame 410. Every frame has the action panel showing that code. So like 295 frames its on? I did that beacause flash would not let me put code in layer on each frame more than once told me duplicate code. I would like the buttons to work as soon as they appear, but maybe not possible?
    So when the movie runs and then stops (another layer with a stop(); on frame 393) everything works, if you link to frames 401, 402 etc, can link back and forth in flash movie no prob.
    The frames 401, 402 are continuations of several layers of the main movie, and some additonal content layers just for those "pages". Each has an anchor layer, a content layer, continuing layers of main, and a stop(); layer for each.
    So when you choose a button (in the movie) that takes you out of movie, to an HTML page and then try and link back to flash from that HTML page link, you get sent to correct page, frame, in the flash, but as you suggest and as I feared, the code is not being run. Buttons react to mouse but don't link anywhere.
    http://plowonstore.com/flash
    Any suggestions would be dearly appreciated.
