Link between material and material groups

hi all,
I have reploicated material groups and materials in SRM.How do i link these naterial group and materials?

When you replicate material from ECC, data from multiple tables in backend is extracted and sent to SRM in BDOC. One of the tables is MARA and it has material group information.
Check COMMPR01 transaction in SRM and pull up a material you replicated. It should show there the material group.

I want to know the link between code and Code Group for UD and inspection type?
There is an option of choosing Usage selected set in SPRO "Seeting for inspection type".If i dont enter anything there,will it show all the code groups in the system while taking UD?

Hi Shreya,
Yes, the link between code and Code Group for UD and inspection type is specific selection of UD related to specific inspection type. Ex. there are separate UD codes individually for Goods receipt against PO, Gr against Production or for In-process inspection ets. so If you assign the selected sets at SPRO Inspection type, then while doing UD system will show UD codes related to only that inspection type.
If you don't enter anything there at SPRO, you will see all the code groups in the system while taking UD and one can get confused in selecting the relevant code.
so assigning of UD selected sets, plant wise (tick) at " Inspection types" is best practice.

Hi there,
Material doc is the PGI document which is created whenever there is material movement either GR or GI. In VL02N --> document flow, select the GD goods issue & click on display document. It will take you to the material doc. There is a field called material slip in that. The value stored in material display is the delivery num. That is how you link the delivery & material doc.
From the material doc if you click on accounting docs, it will give you the A/c document num & the costing doc num (if available).
From the material doc, select the item & click on details from ityem, it will give you the GL account for which the GI is posted.

Not getting the Link between GEIL and material type: procured material not

Hi Friends,
Some material corresponding to certain G/L Account numbers are not appearing. From Fagll03 I can check the G/L Account number, but how shall be able to get the corresponding table field which holds the material or to check whether that G/L Account number has been properly linked to the material.
Please suggest what to do. Is this a problem of programming ? or ...

Hi Saheli,
Link b/n GL accounts and Material is in this way.
Material is created based on material type and material type is connected to Valuation class via Account category reference.
Now that for each valuation class corresponding GL accounts are defined in customizing.
you can check the same in Tcode# OBYC.
To check the posting to Inventory account during GR, select BSX (Inventory posting) and check whether the corresponding valuation class has got the assignment with GL accounts or not.

Link between AFVC and EBAN tables (material report)

Friends, wanted to check if anyone can provide assistance on table links between AFVC and EBAN. The requirement is to track material/service quantity, price, etc in comparison with plan version versus PR, PO, GR, etc. tried retrieving object numbers of WBS and activities using 'get proj info' bapi and tried passing them in tables COSP/EBAN/COKEY but the essential link between material assigned to network activity and the PR is missing..

Did you try the link including EBKN. Basically you can pass the network / WBS number in EBKN and get teh PR number and use this detail in to the item table of PR.

Link between QM Notification & Material Document(QMFE & MSEG)

Hi Experts,
While creating notification in QM01 I am moving data from Production location to Rjejection location,Sothat It generated Document and stored in MSEG. But How can I get particular notification document number from MSEG.
Is there any link between QMFE and MSEG.
Even I have tried NREL_GET_NEIGHBOURHOOD function module to get MBLNR but it is not giving required document number.
These are the values I am passing to FM.
L_BORIDENT-OBJKEY   = qmnum. "Objektschlüssel
L_BORIDENT-OBJTYPE = 'BUS2078'.      "Objekttyp

Get QUNUM from QMFE table. Then go to QMEL table and enter the qunum and check the output record. This record will have MBLNR in this table. Now use this MBLNR in MSEG to get further details.

Link between sd and pp

hi all,
i have a problem regarding relation or link between sales and production order. i have to fetch production order number related to sales order number. i have checked in the table AFPO that is production order item table , there is field AFPO-KDAUF and AFPO-KDPOS ie, sales order and sales item. but when i see these two fields there is no data into the field so how can i get data into the table related to production order.can anyone help me on this issue.

Integration points with MM/IM and PP are some of the following -
When a Production order is created and released a reservation gets created for the materials in BOM
When the reservation is created and materials are posted against the reservation with mvt type 311 these are transferred to the respective location.
When a GR is posted with mvt type 101, the Finished or Semifinished goods are posted to the respective storage location and inventorized.
When a consumption is posted with mvt type 261 then stock will get reduced in resepective storage location.
When a batch determination is done in a production order basing on the batch search strategy and sort rule material, quantity and batch are selected.
If WM is configured an associated internal movement for all the above movement types will be posted.
During MRP, BOM which is a master data for PP is used to calculate the dependent requirements of materials.
During availabilty check of a production order basing on the availability check configured materials will be selected and checked.

I just dont understand why they are mapped in transferrules. and i dont have the field ROCANCEL field in my datasource. actually what scenario makes 0RECORDMODE and ROCANCEL go together could u pls explain

First: the recrodmode controls how data is posted into cubes or ODS (DSO) Objects.
Different Chars have different meanings:
N for new records
B for Pre Imgages
' ' for after images
R for Reverse Images
X for Storno
D for Deletion of a Key (only in ODS possible)
What extractor delivers what different types pof values can be seen via to tables:
ROOSOURCE in the source R/3 System.
There point out th edelta mechanism. With this value, check within Table RODELTAM. There you see the different POSSIBLE Values for ROCANCEL delivered by a DataSource.
The relevant objekt for the controlling of the mode in BW is the InfoObject 0RECORDMODE. Each ODS (DSO) has this Object. For Logistic-Extractors (except MaterialManagement) 0RECORDMODE should be mapped with ROCANCEL.
0STORNO generally is an InfoObject for Reports. E.G. Material movements. Stornos are posted in R/3 with particular so called movement types. Each movement typer contains an information if it is of type "Storno". If this is so, the field storno contains an X.
If you now map the storno field onto 0RECORDMODE, the record is interpreted as a storno record an will be wied blank ini the DataTarget.
If you have monotone increasing document numbers (like in CO-PA, CO-OM, MM-INV ...) 0RECORDMODE should be left blank. 0STORNO can be used for Reporting then and be filled differently.
If you can have changes to an already existing document number (like in sales orders or purchase orders) i'd strongly recommend to map 0RECORDMODE onto the delivered ROCALNCEL field.

When I am creating an order (e.g. production order from CO01) by default itu2019s getting Routing and BOM. I want to know from where my order is populating BOM and Routing?

If you want to see how the tables are linked you can see this in table CAUFV (order header). Fields PLNTY, PLNNR, & PLNAL define the task list type, group, and group counter. These can be used to look up the routing information in tables PLKO and PLPO. The BOM link is in field STLTY, STLST, & STLNR (bom category, status, and BOM). Use these values to find the the BOM details in tables STKO and STPO.
If you want to know how the system knows which BOM and routing to bring in, that is done in configuration under Order plant dependent parameters (t-code OPL8). Also, once the boms and routings are copied into the order you can make changes to the operations and components within the order. The operation and component details that are stored in the order can be found in tables AFVC and RESB.

Link between Numbers and mail

Tonight, I was making an address list of Club Members, using NUMBERS, instead of a DATABASE. In one of the columns I was entering their E-mail addresses. Even before I finished typing the address, the Apple Mail opened up and was waiting for me the verify the address. It seems there is some kind of a link between Numbers and Mail.
Has this happened to anyone else?

Open your address book and drag a whole group into a blank space on a numbers sheet.
You will get Last Name, First Name, phone number and email address already in a table. Just add anything else you require.

If the employee belonging to the same pay scale group and level works part time say half of the normal time, you can maintain his capacity utilisation as 50% instead of maintaining seperate values in the wage types.

Link between Delivery and Sales Order Schedule Line

Hi Gurus,
I have a requirement in which i need to display quantity and amount at schedule line level and also the delivery and delivery item for each schedule line.
For example, if there is a sales order O1 and item 10 for which we have 3 schedule lines and 3 deliveries as well say D1, D2 and D3.
Report should be something like this
Sales Order    Item   Schedule Line    Delivery    Del Item   Confirmed Order Qty
O1                 10      1                       D1           10            5
O1                 10       2                      D2            10            5
O1                 10       3                      D3            10            4
How can i determine that a particular delivery corresponds to which schedule line of that saler order-item?
We have the link between delivery and sales order but is there any way that we can get the link of delivery at schedule line level?

I suppose you must check with SD functional consultant and the post should also be in the logistics SD forum and not BI. But I suppose there is know specific link between the schedule line of SO to the Delivery. It is more like a bucket flow for ex.
Sale order   Item    Schedule line qty
SO1            Item1     Sch1            10
SO2            Item1      Sch2           10
Delivery Item QTy
DO1       IT1   15
DO2       IT1    5
In this case qty 15 is distributed over both SO1 and SO2, and SO2 ITem1 Sch2 has link to both the DOs
So I am not sure if you can establish a one to one link, please check with your SD consultants.

'Is there a link between OLM and iProcurement'

I have been asked 'Is there a link between OLM and iProcurement'? The person posing the question is wanting to create trainers as suppliers and I know that the supplier information is shared between OLM and the A/P, A/R and G/L modules and I presume that the link to iProcurement will be via one of these modules however is there a more direct vanilla link between OLM and iprocurement?

I am afraid there is no link between the iProc and OLM.
The closest that apps can offer you is that your learner/delegates can be of type external i.e. being an Organization or a Customer. Hence there exists a link for your delegate to be a customer(hz_parties).
However this might be a future integration i.e. Trainers being suppliers. I am saying so because in 11.5.10 there is a table named OTA_VENDOR_SUPPLIES that has reference to vendor_id. Currently this table is not being used by OLM.
You may look into the code of packages OTA_VSP_API, OTA_TEA_BUS & OTA_PLE_BUS and see if Oracle's future functionality will converge towards your business requirement.
