Link down a page by # of pixels

Is it possible to link down a page 200 pixels?
I know it's posssible to link to a certain NAME/ID element in the page but is it possible to link down a certain number of pixels?

Mobile drop down menu won't disappear once I have clicked one of the links in the drop down to take me to an anchor further down the page. I want the drop down to disappear upon clicking and scroll at the same time.

Basically I have a drop down menu, which i have tried to create numerous times with different widgets available in muse or as freebies on the net.
The menu within the drop down is a manual menu and each button links to an anchor on the page, so that when clicked the page scrolls to that anchor.
My problems is that once I have clicked one of the links to go to the anchor further down the page the drop down remains. For the purpose of User Experience and fluidity across the mobile design i would like the drop down to disappear on click of the anchor link. Is this possible?

I need to create a link on a page, while hiding it from the options

I am making a website for my work, which is a glass company. The options at the top to click on will be home, commercial, residential, and contact us. When you click on residential i would like to have links for windows, shower doors, ect. I want to be able to click on windows and it go to another page to show information about them, the same thing with shower doors, ect. but i don't want thoes titles to be at the top of the page. Is this possible.

What you're referring to is a drop down menu. Those can't be created normally in iWeb. They can be added to a iWeb page but require an HTML snippet and javascript. Some possible javascript solutions have been posted in this forum. Search for drop down menu. Also do a Google search for drop down menu to get a number of sites with possible solutions.
Or, you can create a separate Residential page and put photos of windows, shower doors, etc. on it and use them as links to the pages for the windows, shower doors. Those pages don't have to be included in the navbar. You can turn it off in the Inspector/Page/Page pane.

It does not appear possible to either open all of the (or selected) links on a page in tabs nor print all of the pages in tabs (like a book).

In applications that use a browser control or open web pages, there are frequently (nearly always) mechanisms to open multiple links on a page in tabs, print all (or selected) tabs, or print all linked pages (the latter is pretty much universal as an OS call). Additionally, like Links (in IE) or Bookmarks (in Mozilla) can be 'named', so can 'tabs'. Some editors (and applications) permit tabs to be 'named'. As I recall, in an editing mode, Netscape used to do this, just like you could edit a page. For authors and researchers, this would be invaluable primarily because neither are frequented by earnings capable of affording those spendy apps like Adobe or Corel that do that, because programmatically it is reasonably simple to maintain an association of symbolic links, and that Mozilla could immediately become the browser of choice as IE can do nothing of the sort (well, may be new IE can).

Incidentally, if you might find this impudent, before you say that to anybody, discover me, who patented 1,821:1 data compression, before you get too far down that path. 2012 is going to be a new world in technology, I promise.

How do I add a "return to top of page" button/link for long pages?

I've created several long pages within a web site. Is there a button or link that can be used, created, and placed in the middle and/or at the bottom of the pages that will return you to the "top of page" without having to scroll all the way back up? If there is one in iWeb, or if this has been discussed before, I can't find it. Thanks.

easiest way would be to have link "Link to: one of my pages" and link to the page itself.
To me doing this the page doesn't have to completely reload (thus there is no transition displaying a an empty page).
Another way would be using Anchors which is a bit more complicated... Usually they are used to go down to a certain point of a page but it works the other way around too...

Linking to other pages is not working

I have a slice that I want to link to another page. I selected the slice and in the drop down that displays in the property inspector for the Link field, I select the page I want it to go to. However, when I test the page, it does not work, and in Safari, I get this message:
No file exists at the address “/Users/MediaFred/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Fireworks CS5/FWTemp/4193627/page2.htm”.
What is wrong with this?

Did you try previewing all the pages in browsers?
Click on File>Preview in Browser>Preview all pages in your_browser_name.exe.

Authorization check for links on a page

We are trying to control whether links on a JSP page are displayed or hidden based on an authorization check.
We've already got the checks working on individual pages but not for the links within a page, because the security framework does not list links as their own Resource.
Is there a way to call the Authorization security provider ourselves, for each link on our JSPs? This call would be outside of the initial security check for the main JSP.

It's not going to be easy without DOM. Parsing HTML is a real pain, since there's all kinds of optional tags and quotation marks (pre-XHTML, that is). That makes any kind of ad-hoc parsing using regular expressions difficult, and less accurate than pulling the entire file into a DOM representation.
Why don't you want to use DOM? Are you just making up silly requirements?
EDIT:
I guess you could use an event-based HTML parser (HTML::Parser in Perl works this way. Is there a Java equivalent?) Set up an event for IMG and A start tags, and extract the href/src attributes there. Finding out if they are valid or not will require either:
1) Simply validate that the URL is well-formed by creating a URL object from it. This won't tell you if the link is active or not
2) Validate the URL by connecting to it with an URLConnection. However, the URL will be marked invalid if the server is down or the URL is otherwise unavailable.

i've checked the cable and it's good (it work with a normal pc)

You didn't necesarily do anything wrong.
You do not necessarily have any broken equipment.
There may just be somthing that is incomplete in the setup.
Begin by checking if your network settings were set up correctly by running:
# ifconfig -a
(it's usually best to troubleshoot while you are root user)
If the output from the ifconfig command seem to be complete, you could always think about reconfiguring the NIC all over again.
If you are not sure, then just paste the entire output results back here.
Also, use the forum search function, using keyword sys-unconfig.
Next, read the Solaris man pages for sys-unconfig.
That command will force you to repeat the setup of the connection.

These MacBook Pros drew more power than the power brick could readily supply, and so would only run at top speed when the power brick was supplemented by the battery.
Though the applicable tech note has been removed, it stated:

Text is broken when scanning UP the page; but okay scanning down the page. The text looks like a shot gun has been fired through it. It used to be good both ways until the last update. This is not a problem in any other program including Internet Explorer. I have an image to show you but there is no link here to attach.
After clicking Allow I got ..........The add-on could not be downloaded because of a fault at the support site.

Try to create a new Boolean pref on the about:config page via the right-click context menu with the name layout.paint_rects_separately and set the value to true and leave hardware acceleration enabled.

I've had this problem with this computer as soon as I remember starting to use it.
You should have taken it back to apple immediately.
You need to try a clean install of the OS.. yosemite has known bugs especially with the wireless and if you upgrade installed the OS it can just get worse.
You should do a clone of the hard disk and a Time Machine backup etc.. to make sure you don't lose files.. but a clean install will at least show if it is driver issue or actual faulty hardware. Is the laptop still in warranty / Applecare.. if so return it to apple for checking.

Safari 'Email/Email Link to this page' launches Mail Again

If I select Share > Email/Email Link to this page' in Safari, and Mail is already running, rather than just creating a new message, it launches a second instance of Mail (same executable though) and then creates a new message.
I have already rebuilt Launchservices with Cocktail, to no avail.

The purpose of the test is to determine whether your problem is caused by third-party system modifications that load automatically at startup or login.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode* and log in to the account with the problem. The instructions provided by Apple are as follows:
Shut down your computer, wait 30 seconds, and then hold down the shift key while pressing the power button.
When you see the gray Apple logo, release the shift key.
If you are prompted to log in, type your password, and then hold down the shift key again as you click Log in.
*Note: If FileVault is enabled under OS X 10.7 or later, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t boot in safe mode. Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including wireless networking on certain Macs.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin. Test while in safe mode. Same problem? After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

Airport trouble - Link down on en 1

I get some trouble with my airport connection - some lose of network a few second as my Aiport Express seems not valid.
This is a sample of log but i can't really see what i must do ?
This is a new mac and i have restarted my Airport Express to created a new Network.
The problem occurs each 5 or 10 minutes.

I need some advice here. I have seen this done on the web before but not sure if iWeb does it.
What I am looking to do is have a list or table of contents at the top of a webpage. I would like it if somehow a particular topic could be clicked and this would take the visitor somewhere farther down the page to the appropriate content.
In other words....kinda like making a link on the same page.

Safari randomly stops loading current webpage and any links on the page, usually for 10-15 minutes, but will load other pages in that time just fine.

My Safari and Firefox randomly and unpredictably will stop loading whatever page I'm on and will not load any links on that page. When I do click a link on the page, the progress bar will hold at about 1/8 of the way and will not proceed. I can go to another web page and it will load fine, and I can click links on that page just fine. But when I return to the affected page, it still refuses to load. It will usually start working normally again after I visit another page and come back to it after 10-15 minutes. Nothing I have done so far has seemed to help this issue. I've tried clearing the history/website data, quitting and restarting safari, I reset the PRAM, all to no avail.
I'm running a mid 2010 macbook pro with Yosemite.
