Link family BBID's
My wife and I both have playbooks and we have now purchased 2 for our children!
They love the video chat etc. But they both have their own. Individual blackberry Id's so I can't. See how I can buy a game say Angry Birds and but it on both playbooks! Any ideas? Any way to link family BBID's for this purpose?

you can use 2 playbook on one BBID, but video chat wont work with PIN unless on separate wifi routers.
also if switching back and forth too much, you will lock your BBID.
I have not tried a 3rd playbook yet on same BBID.

Linking families together in AddressBook
Is there anyway to link family members together in address book without making them a group? I need many families to be in a group.

there are 2 ways for doing this-
1. Using relationships as explained by Adrivit. But since you want to manage/edit the relationships via Portal Interface using APIs, I am not sure how effectively they are supported by APIs. Please check API capabilities below- http://help.sap.com/javadocs/mdm/sp06/com/sap/mdm/data/commands/ModifyRelationshipsCommand.html
2. Using Lookup Main fields which you have tried. You can make this field Multivalued and assign 4/5 child records. This is well supported by APIs and will be easier to manage in Portal.
Based on previous experience I can share with you that working with relationships has some limitations and going with Lookup(main) field will be a better solution.

Curve - Setting BBID and Lost BB World
Hi Support Team, A. Im using BB Curve and trying to connect BBID to this device. - I cannot find "Blackberry ID" menu under my "Third Party Application", it's blank - no menu inside there. - My friend told me to setup BBID online, I did. But after that - I cannot 'link' the BBID to the device, as I cannot access the above menu. B. After upgrading software, I lost Blackberry World menu on my BB. How can I recover that? Please help. It looks like you will have to wipe the tablet in order to switch the ID.

My iMac freezes while using safari. I have Mavericks installed
Several times my iMac freezes while using Safari. Only way to get out is to do a hard shut-down by holding the start button. Any ideas? Version of Maveriks is 10.9.2

Time Machine backup slow in copying phase
I've had a gander through Pondini's (excellent!) site and other locations, but still can't seem to get TM to backup at a regular pace.
I've got it connected via ethernet, but with about 500GB to backup and a copying speed that managed to do only 40GB in 14 hours, it's waaaaaay too slow. Current message says "Backing up: 44.01 GB of 499.82 GB"
I've done various things like removing Sophos for Mac, relaunching Finder, checking the Activity Monitor to see if there's anything hogging CPU, re-booted my My Book Live NAS and a few other things besides. Nothing's helped. Below is a copy/paste of details from EtreCheck. Can anyone help?

I went into System Settings/TechToolProtection and Disabled protection features. After a minute or so, I got a bump in speed, with TM now copying a GB every 4 - 5 minutes. Still very slow, but something of an improvement. -

Every so many restarts, 10.9 hangs on boot. Must reinstall...
I recently picked up a new Mac Mini 2.6 GHz i7. I put in two crucial SSD's and 16 GB of Crucial ram.
Everything was working great. Until two weeks in my Mac would not boot on a restart. I eventually cloned my backup back on to the startup disk and everything was fine. Then two weeks later the same thing happens. This time I just reinstall OSX over the existing installation and everything works fine.
I removed one of the SSD's and returned it to crucial thinking that was the problem. Moved to the second SSD.
Guess what, I am still have the problem.
Any ideas what is going on here? I am a LONG time Mac user and never experienced and intermittment problem like this that was so serious.

Resetting BB ID with new email addres
I am trying to log into my BB ID to update my email address but have forgotten the password. I went to the 'reset password' option and filled in my details and it sent an email with instructions to reset my password to the email account linked to my BB ID. I no longer have access to this email account (hence why I wanted to update it to my new email addess)- is there another way I can reset my password?
That's the only way t reset your password, having the password reset sent to your existing email account owned by you is a security feature.
You have to remember either the BlackBerryID password, or the secret question answer. Without either, you're stuck.
Your choices are:
--Use another email account to create an entirely new BlackBerryID (with which you will lose access to any purchased apps using the "forgotten" first BlackBerryID, or
--Find the initial email you were sent to confirm the initial BlackBerryID, and in it is a link to click to cancel and delete the account. Click on that, delete the account and then you can use that same email to create an entirely new account.

Unable to use the same email address for a new blackberry Id
I was unable to enter my blackberry Id password and so after the last attempt,the date wiped.now I want to create a new ID with the same email I used before but the system is telling me that this email is associated with an existing ID.please what do I do now
Correct, you can't create a new BBID based on an email associated with a previous BBID.

I am switching things over to my Gmail account. I finally got rid of my AOL account. Is it possible to change my Apple ID as well as where I receive email notifications when I post things on the Apple Support Communities?

Changing email user name on BB world acc
Hi. I deserately need help. I need to change my email login details on my BB world account. The problem I have now is that I buy apps but the license keys are being sent to the old email address which is not in operation anymore. This renders my apps virtually useless or with limited use. How to create apple id for child under 13?

It sounds like you are setting up Family Sharing and creating an Apple ID for your child.
In this case, it is necessary to use a credit card when creating the Apple ID, although the payment method can be changed to debit card once the Apple ID is created.
To comply with child online privacy protection laws, you will use the CVV or security code from a valid credit card as part of providing your parental consent. If the card on file is a debit card or another payment method, you’ll be asked to provide a credit card before you can continue. After you create the child's Apple ID, you can change your payment method back to a debit card.

I have got myself the BBZ10 and need to transfer all data from my BB BOLD.
Having done most of it, I unable to transfer the apps and also my bb mail as i have lost the password.
I have on atleast 6 occasion got on to the BB site and requested for a fresh password, although there are prompts that password has been sent i have not recived them.
I am now faced with a situation where I not able to use the Z10.
Can somebody tell me how to I can get out of this mess. Primarly I need a new password, secondly it is highly unlikely (but possible) that the mail wih the new password is going else where, if so how do I track it.
Worst case scenario how can I get a new id and password while the old one is still active.You should check all of your junk or spam email folders for the password reset emails.
If still nothing, I don't know why the email is not bein gsent.
