Link from one application to another, without having to log-in the 2nd time

I figured out how to link from one app to another.
But I don't know how to avoid the 2nd log-in.
Do I just delete the log-in page for the 2nd application?

I have two application in same workspace and they have same authentication or login detail. if i switch from one application to another then it do not ask for login .
for examle if i switch to sample application there login detail is diffrent it ask for username as demo and passoword as workspace then it should for login detail.

How can I transfer some books and music from one ipad to another without having to sync and erase the lot?

I am trying to transfer some music and books from my ipad to my mothers ipad. I am using a laptop that I have had to install itunes onto. When I sselect the music I want to put onto my mothers ipad I get the message 'are you sure want to sync this ipad to this computer as it will erase all date on the ipad and replace it with this'...well something to that effect anyway.
When I plug my ipad into it it also states that syncing will erase all data and replace it with what is on itunes as my ipad is linked to another computer (im in Hobart and my usual computer is in brisbane)
Is there a simple way for me to add music and books on a usb stick to mothers ipad without having to lose everything taht she currently has on there?
Any advice is greatly appreciated

Backup with this User Tip, restore the library to the new computer using the same tool, keep the backup up-to-date in future. Deauthorize the old computer if you no longer need to access protected content on it.
As to your issues with compilations albums select all the tracks, set the Album Artist to Various Artists and on the options tab set Part of a compilation to Yes. See Grouping tracks into albums for details.

Move from one application to another without Logging in again

Hi,
I have two standalone applications app1 and app2.
When the user clicks on a particular link in app1, He would be directed to another page in app2.
Is there a way to avoid the second login that is currently being requested when moving to app2?
Both the applications are in the same workspace.

Rajesh,
If you use Single Sign On(SSO) to authenticate your users in every app then you will only have to log in once. Here is a link that should be able to get you started.

Once SSO is configured you can create a new authorization scheme using the pre configured option called Oracle Application Server Single Sign-On (Application Express Engine as Partner App) make that the current authentication for your apps and you should be good to go.

In "Pages" you can Hyper Link a word or phrase by going to Inspector Link highlight the word or pharse click on "Enable as a hyperlink" and then place a URL address. The highlighted word or phrase will now be blue and anytime I click on it I will be taken the the URL address.
What I want to do is that exacltly, but I want to able to link a word or a phrase to another internal Mac application.

I need to know if the procedure i'm using to perform a response.sendRedirect is the best/ most efficient. I'm using 11g 11.1.1.6.
1. I have two JSF ADF applications deployed on a 11g BC4J application server.
The two applications are named App1 and App2 in the application server (AS)
App1 has a context path of /app1
App2 has a context path of /app2
I need to go to App2 from App 1 from a golink
I using go link and in destination="/app2/faces/pages/home"/>
and it redirects to this link like
localhost:port/app1/app2/faces/pages/home?env=Prod"/>
I actually want it to redirect to the second application and run it
What is that I m doing wrong If I need to hardcord that value there
Or is there any othe way that I can do .

Thanks for your help I could get that I m able to goto desired url from app1 to app2
but the thing is I m using jdbc URL connection to deploy my application. After navigating to desired page
I m trying to login to my page When I enter username and tabout for password
It shows me an error like
JBO-29114 AdfContext is not setup to process message for this exception. Use the exception stack trace and error code to investigate the root cause of this exception.
Root cause error code is jbo-26061.

While Deploying I checked my connections they are successful. I dont have any issue with the DB.

Can I transfer data from one iphone to another (but later rather than at the same time)

I currently have an Iphone 4 that was provided through my company but I am changing employment next month (as well as country) and was hoping to store all my current iphone software and data (hopefully on my computer) and then purchase a new Iphone 4 in which to update with said data.
If anyone can offer insight in how to accomplish this I would be grateful!

if the iphone have not been synced with another computer then just sync it with yours
if it have then you cant syncing it with your computer would then clear the iphone and adding the info from your itunes to it

The best way to do this would be to use destination_app statement. Please refer to the below link from help.sap:

Alternatively, you can definitely export the data from one application and import it to the second.

I have a requirement to load data from One application to another application.
eg. HR Plannning to CostCenter Planning.
I am aware of a method to load data using transformation file mapping source and target dimensions and run DM package and this works fine.
However, the challenge is if i try to automate this process then i will have to hardcode the application tech name and save as variant to use that in process chain. Now, if i hardcode the tech name of the application then it might happen that during full optimization the tech name might change and the automation load will fail.
so how to handle this situation? any standard practices available?

Exactly. The main problem is that there is no statement to transfer the data. Please take a look at the below link from help.sap:

Since the structure of both the applications is same, you dont require add_dim or rename_dim, etc. However, you definitely need the when statement.
If you want to transfer all the records, then you can have something like
*WHEN ACCOUNT
*IS *
*REC(EXPRESSION = %VALUE%)
*ENDWHEN

Move a site from one Mac to another without losing sites already there

I would like to move a site from one Mac to another without losing the websites that I have already built on the other Mac. Transfering the Domain file is not helping. Is there away to open the new domain file and adding those sites to the domain file associated with this copy of iWeb? I have searched the discussions but am not seeing any clear answers. They all seam to invilve new users or losing the sites already on that mac.

I seem to have solved my own problem. This may help other users. I found a tip and a web page that suggested moving the Domain File from the application support folder to another on the desktop on one of the computers and then putting the 2nd Domain File from the other computer in a separate folder on the desktop. This is because you can not change the name of the Domain File . Then by double clicking the Domain File with the site wanted, iWeb opens with that set of sites.
I started with what was to be the new master Domain File and stated a new site with a blank page. saved, did not publish and closed iWeb. Opened from the other Domain File and then clicked and opened the site and page I wanted, then selected all, copied all and closed iweb. Went back to the master Domain File , opened iWeb using that, went to the blank page and pasted in the page from the other Domain File from the other computer. Saved, closed iWeb and repeated till I had all pages. Changed the names to match the sites and Pages. I did not allow iWeb to publish during this process. Took all of 10 minutes and I now have a Domain File with all the sites in one place. I then copied this file back into its original location in Library/application support/iWeb on both computers. I now have all sites in iWeb on both computers.

Here si what I do:
Since I tend to message with teh same people I leave the messages available to me. If you are in one conversation with "Karen" and want to message with "Kathy" tap the message back arrow and select Kathy.
As always just be careful to rememeber who you are messaging to!
