Link from SAP help pointing to a wrong site
Hi,
We have a link to the site [REMOVED BY ADMIN] in the following SAP help page:
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp2004/helpdata/en/a5/172437130e0d09e10000009b38f839/frameset.htm
But this site contents are of different category. The reason could be [REMOVED BY ADMIN] might have been hacked. Just wanted to inform this in this forum.

if I type that web address either 1. web.mac.com/lsikesimages/bluemetrodesign ... it Will Not show up.
The only way this can happen, assuming you have truly published the site, is that you have not spelled the url correctly. It must be exact in every detail, including capital letters and punctuation. So double-check exactly what name you gave your site inside the iWeb app and put that after web.mac.com/lsikesimages/
Also you can mount your idisk on your destop (Go > iDisk > My iDisk), navigate to Web/Sites, and make sure there is a folder called "bluemetrodesign" or whatever in there.

Links from emails in MacMail no longer open sites on Firefox
Since updating Firefox, links from emails in MacMail no longer open sites on Firefox; I click on them, it goes to Firefox, but no page opens. Is this a problem caused by the latest security upgrade to Firefox? It happened immediately after I downloaded it. I'm running Mac OSX 10.6.6.
The irony that you sent me an email to confirm my post...by clicking a link... is not lost on me.

Open the external web link from the help contents in EclipseRCP Action bar advisor

I am working on the eclipse rcp application(eclipse 3.3), I want to open the external web link(www.test.com) when user clicks on the help contents in help section. how to achieve this.
And also i want to open the external link from toc.xml file, when i add the external link using href command in toc.xml the help contents will be disappearing.

OWB 11gR2 extracting data from SAP - HELP

I have a question regarding the way OWB 11gR2 uses its SAP connector. I will present the scenario.
OS on Server: Windows Server 2003 64bit
DB: 11gR2 - 64bit
SAP JCO 2.19 (64bit)
OS on Client: Windows XP 32bit
Oracle Client 11gR2 - 32bit

How do I create links from my help text to my software program?
I have finished all of my online help text documentation using RoboHelp 8. I would like to create a help button in my software that a user could click on to find more information about a specific part of the program in the online help text. I would like to know how to view the absolute paths in RH8 of the help text so that I can link it to the software. Currently, when I go to my online help text is only shows me the http://www.sitename.com. and nothing more for any of the topics.

Retrieving pricing information for salesorder from SAP - help please!!!
For an online synchrone interface between a Delphi application and SAP R/3 I need to determine the correct prices for a order / item.
I try to use BAPI_SALESORDER_SIMULATE to do this (which should work for this purpose), but the BAPI doesn't return the NET_VALUE for the orderitem (it does return other data however).
A possible reason is that de simulation generates a salesorder that's incomplete, because the weight is missing for the items. I can't find which fields to use for this in the BAPI (in BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2 thsi fields are in the ORDER_ITEMS_IN structure - GROSS_WGHT en NET_WEIGHT).
Does anybody know how the weight can be passed on to the BAPI or is there another way of determing the prices for a salesorder (without creating a salesorder in SAP)?

Léon.Pricing is a big part of Sales and Distribution.
Every company has their own pricing routines and they determine it based on the conditions.
For ex:
1. Military Orders have separate discounts
2. If an order is more than $1 Million probably company wants to give a discount.
These are just examples.
For your onlin sync interface, what you can do is write a proxy which creates the sales order and read the SD tables it send back the informatoin (I do not have on hand system to check which BAPI to use)
I think you should work with your R/3 Developer and Functional analyst. If you are the ABAP developer too, provided some time I might be able to find it when I get the system access.

As per my knowledge the basis team should be able to give you the ITS Portal Link for SRM. However if you wish to know the details yourself without asking the basis team then you can go to the SMICM t-code and obtain the same as follows
SMICM -> Goto -> Services -> HTTP -> Double Click and you get the Hostname there
Then for the hostname you need to append the port number and /irj/portal to get the actual link to the SRM Portal.
So ideally the link would be somewhat like this
https://Hostname:Port Number/irj/portal.
Additionally if the Basis team has configured the Portal information in spro you can use the following path
SAP SRM -> SRM Servder -> Technical Basic Settings -> Maintain Portal Information.
Hope this information is of some use.

Well, perhaps it is a repost, but I searched the forum and didn't find a suitable thread.
In the past I downloaded some PDF-Files from SDN, SAP-Help and so on, for example the "SAP NetWeaver Developers Guide - Running an Enterprise Portal" (Mai 2006). It includes all the chapter content from SAP-Help.
So I can search in the PDF and I have it full text indexed with some other Guides. As another point I can read it offline in train and at a customer, were I don't have access to the internet.
During the last months I recognized that many PDF documents become older and older but I cannot find new versions of it. So does anyone know a suitable resource to find these guides (extracts from Sap-Help) or does anyone have a trick how to create a PDF or something similar from Help-Entries?
I already tried out some web-page download tools, but they all haven't worked as I want: no pics, download of first level only or download of really toooo much(!) contet. I don't want to install the complete Help-Entries on my notebook, because Disk-Space is low and I only need some extracts (for example the chapter Running an Enterprise Portal).
Perhaps there will be a "create PDF"-function as it is at SAP-notes? Does anyone have informations if there is something like this planned?

There aren't many PDFs online at the moment, download with a web capture tool doesn't work at me (I tried really a lot tools) and I don't want to install the complete SAP-Help for NetWeaver from the Installation DVDs (more than 2 GB, I think).

the memory id won't work as it is within the current session only.
you have two main options:
1) pass parameters in URL
2) persist the parameters somehow ( shared memory area, database table ) and pass a GUID in the URL which refers to these.
strangely enough although this is a mirror of most of the posts here, which want to launch WDA apps from standard GUI based code, the techniques are very very similar.

Well as of 6.0 Help documentation is converted to HTML i.e have an internet connection and serf the website help.sap.com .
Help documents are generally treated as products and you can find that from the customers or education partners .
Directly for Help.sap.com you wont be able to download the library of ECC 6.0 onwards .

pressed "English" documentation
Then SAP NetWeaver Library -clicked "Developers Guide"
everybody goes this far only ..... once you get on the above page you need to type in the words in the Search option so that you get to the related results.... it is on the Top-right portion of the page
In addition to normal search you can also opt for Advance Search option to filter your search area.
Please note that the search results will contain many additional (un-related) results, so you need to select the required one.
