Link in e-Mail to GP

Hello,
I have realized a GP approval workflow. Is it possible to send an e-mail to the user who is involved next containing a link which directly directs to the step the user has to perfom?

you might perhaps use a callable object of type 'Send an E-Mail in Background with Attachment' for this, see also:

You could use a HTML mail template with the replacement 'sy.workitemurl' in it, see also here:

=> like this you should be able to send mails with a link to the current work item. However, I'm not sure if this will work when there is more than one active work item...

Your answer also taught me to be a little more persistent, as I had started looking at Preferences, and just didn't notice the icons (including Applications) at the top of that window that would have led me to my answer.

Hi Pierrot10,
Insert your backup disc (or plug your external hd), then open Mail.
In the File menu, click *Import Mailboxes* and follow the steps for a *Mail for Mac OS X* transfer.
Navigate to your CD/DVD's or external HD's backup and hit "OK".
This should create a new "Imported" folder in Mail with all your old messages in it, that you can then rearrange as you wish, creating new mailboxes etc.

How can I stop conversations from being linked together in Mail? I don't like that feature.

I don't like that conversations are linked together in mail. It always scares me that I sent something to someone who it wasn't intended for. Sometimes the conversations are relevant but most of the time one email has absolutely nothing to do with another email so I don't see why they are linked together. I have looked all through the mail preferences but I don't see any options to change it.
Does anyone has the same thoughts and any solution?

Yes this worked! Thank you! Also sometimes my mail completely disappears and then it comes back but I'm not sure why it does that and sometimes the search feature works and sometimes it doesn't.

After the Firefox 6.0.2 update (up from 6.0), Firefox does not open a tab/page anymore when clicking on links in e-mail(have Thunderbird 6.0.2)

Firefox no longer receives clicks on links in e-mail and others. No response at all. When I click on URL links in Windows, I receive "Windows cannot find http://<an address>. Make sure you typed the name correctly ...". When I click on e-mail links in Thunderbird, I do not get an error but nothing happens.

This problem disappeared after a few days by itself but the last significant change in my PC prior to noticing normal Firefox link behaviour was MS Vista update KB2607712 & restart. This may or may not be the solution to the problem.

Links in e-mail won't open!

Links won't open when I click them in the e-mail that I'm reading!
What's up with that?
I have tried all the preference options that I could find in Mail, Safari, and Firefox.
(The "set default browser" preference in Safari makes no difference!)
I also searched all over the apple site to no avail!
The inability to follow links in e-mail, renders this application useless!

My experience hasn't been anything like yours and I've been using Macs since the Apple IIe which didn't have a hard drive. I've always used PCs and Windows at work so I have extensive experience with both platforms and my personal money has never been spent on a PC running Windows and it never will. I'll live without a computer first.
There are alternatives to purchasing MS Word for OS X which are compatible with Word and don't cost a dime. If you did some checking on things like this instead of being more concerned about not having access to Google Maps, you would have saved some money. The beta version of Google Maps for OS X is available BTW.

If most of the OS X users are perfectly happy, then why are these discussion forums so immense?
For one, these Discussions are the equivalent to a Hospital ward for Macs. There are nothing but problems reported here and this represents a very small percentage of all Mac users. When you visit someone at a Hospital, do you leave the Hospital believing EVERYONE in that city or town must be sick since the Hospital is full of patients? Or when visiting any car dealership regardless the make, seeing their repair and service shop full of cars coming to the conclusion that make must be defective or the owners must not be perfectly happy or they wouldn't have their cars in for repair or service?
Visit Dell's forum or the equivalent of the Apple Discussions if you want to see immense and their large number of satisfied customers. Based on your logic about this, I wouldn't consider going anywhere near a Dell computer after visiting Dell's forum.
I can go on and one but hopefully you get the point.
I hope they're paying you well to deal with jerk-os like me!

With your attitude, you should sell your Mac and all software on eBay or wherever and purchase a Windows PC. Get ready to fork over additional money for Microsoft Office which is not included with every PC purchase and don't forget about purchasing Firewall and Antivirus protection since you'll need it. If you believe owning and using a Windows PC will be less trouble free, you are in for a big surprise and rude awakening.

When I click send link my yahoo mail does come up BUT the link is coming up in the TO box

I am trying to send a link to my friend and when I click send link my yahoo mail DOES pop up but the link is showing in the TO box
instead of the body of the message...I have to cut and copy that and put
in the message body then put the email address in the TO box

in the Table CRMD_IM_ML_ITEM field SUM_ACCESS increases by 1 every time a person clicks on the link.....
is there any table taht i can use to know which kyper link the user has clicked.....
i read about the adding response id to the mail form.....but don't how or where to use it...
i need to genrate report later which tells which person has clicked on which link,how many number of time...

Clicking links in apple mail opens firefox, but does not go to the actual link.

Clicking on links in Apple Mail opens/switches to Firefox, but does not go to the page of the actual link. It just loads the homepage or stays on whatever page I was on before. Links work fine when I switch my default browser to Safari, so I think the problem is with Firefox, not Mail. Downloading the latest version of Adobe Flash seemed to temporarily fix the problem, but it stopped working within a day or two.

The culprit was that the Flash plugin needed updating for FF. That was it.
Go to Firefox; Preferences; General (tab); Add-ons; Manage Add-ons; Plugins.
I clicked on Find Updates and immediately updated the Flash plugin.

If you are not able to open links from email messages on your iPhone, first force the mail application you're using to close with these steps:
Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app's preview up to close it.

Can't click on link in Mac Mail to open Firefox

I use Firefox as my default browser on my iMac. Now (for the past month) when I click on a link in Mac Mail nothing happens. It works fine on my Mac-book. Does anyone know how to solve this problem? I should say I can click on a link if I set Safari or Google Chrome as my default browser. I just prefer Firefox. Thank you
