Link inside tab must open next tab and jump to top of page
I am trying to open the next tab from a link within the tabbed panel while ensuring the top of the tab is focused on the screen.
You can see my tabbed panel at the top of http://yabbox.com/spry.php
In Panel one, there are links to panel 3 and panel 4. On some screens you will need to scroll down to see this links and it is this scenario I am working on.
If you click the link to panel three, the panel will open but as it is smaller, the viewer will be left reading the content below and not the panel itself, which will be very confusing. This is especially so if you are using a laptop.
I need to force the link to jump to the to the top of the screen, something like including a named anchor inside the tab itself.
I am using the following code as found on this forum, but it's not working <a href="javascript:;" onclick="TabbedPanels1.showPanel('3')" scroll(0,0);="">Panel 3</a>

You need a bookmark for the top of your tabbed panels and then to change the href of you link to reference it
Try the following changes

Every time Firefox openedRight click the FireFox button in your toolbar and look in the properties- middle tab...make sure that it only has "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" with no other link added to the end. I had a similar problem this morning and found a website had attached it's link to the end so it would always pop up first and would only open a new tab.

Question
I opened my computer and the whole top only shows web search, I can not find my bookmarks and I tried reloading firefox and still nothing but tab bar. Tried f10, alt, nothing! Can I reload an old firefox? There is no firefox logo at top. When I rt click at top I see hide toolbar and leave full screen. To the right there is only a home sign. To Reset Firefox do the following:

i've created a sandboxed solution visual webpart and it has submit button so when user fills the information in the text boxes availble in webpart and clicks submit button so I want to open popup button containg success message and ok button so when user

Sometimes when I have 2 or more websites open, the tabs for them do not have the"X" on the right end that I can click to close them. Others right next to it may have the X or not - it seems random. The only way to close the x-less tabs is to right click and select Close tab. How do I tweak it so there are always X's? The only relevant add-on I can think of is Colorful Tabs, and I have the latest version of it.

Spry tabbed panels, opening a tabbed panel, problem with IE
i've have made a site, with tabbed panels,
all the pages are made of a template;
everythings works fine; in Firefox and Opera,
but only in IE when i open a tabbed panel from a menubar, the contents is opened behind my header location;
i've used spry 1.6.1 and spryUtils to open the tabbed panel.
because there no other posibilty to open a tabbed panel from my other page.
i've tested the site on CSS and all, and i've don't get any errors.
this site is only on our intranet, and DVD;
so is not a online site
i' dont have anything modified in the java script.
just changed some minor adjustments to the CSS of the tabbed panels
The page is containing a fixed footer and header, FOR all browsers therefore is the CSS IE hacks also.
and all other functions work normal.

Firefox freezes temporarily when I click on a tab, then opens that tab in a new window instead.
I thought it was related to a specific website but then noticed it happening on others. The browser freezes and then opens whatever tab I'm on in a new window instead. It's quite annoying.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).<br />

If it does work in Safe-mode then disable all your extensions and then try to find which is causing it by enabling one at a time until the problem reappears.<br />
You can use "Disable all add-ons" on the [[Safe mode]] start window to disable all extensions.<br />
You have to close and restart Firefox after each change via "File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit")<br />

How do I open a doc in adobe instead of preview? Three Imac people in a group all having the same problem. I was told to download the latest Adobe, which I did. I still cant view the document even though I downloaded it to read it. It keeps opening in Preview and shows up blank. Help!
Right click on the document and select Open with-Adobe Acrobat. Or right click on the document and select get info, go to the open with drop down menu and select Acrobat. If you want all documents of that type to open with Acrobat check the box.

I have the same accordion on all of my pages and I would like
to have the accordion maintain the same open status that the user
selected after the browser refreshes. IE. it is a 3 pane setup...
common to all pages with the same content in each pane on all
pages. The default is pane 1. If the user selects pane 2 then jumps
to a new page I would like pane 2 top be displayed on the new page,
not pane 1.

Mac OS X, Firefox v3.6. I've disabled all of my extensions and went as far as to uninstall and reinstall the application. Still having the same issue. The program automatically tries to close itself after opening.
Continue to have this issue. It seems almost as if there is a script waiting for Firefox to open which closes the application.
If I open in normal mode, Firefox just closes after 2 seconds after opening - no crash report. If I open in safe mode, I get the prompt to save tabs for next session before it closes.
Anyone else have this problem? Occurs across multiple user accounts on the same machine in Snow Leopard.
I've even tried installing Firefox 4 beta - same problem.
