Link lines in Adobe forms

how can i link lines so that the line break cant happen between them ?

1) you may want to fix your number of SDN points or you may find troublesome to find anybody to help you if you have never helped a living soul.
2) there is "allow page breaks" switch at the sub-form level

Fonts and indent first line in adobe forms

Hi,
I have a smartstyle with paragraph format DF for which left margin is 1.00cm and indent first line is -1.00cm. I am using this style in textmodule where i can see the text correctly as desired. but when i am using this text module in adobe form, indent first line is not recognized i.e the first line is also starting from 1.00cm which is supposed to be 0cm.
can anyone tell me how i can resolve this and also i need Arial font style in smartstyles which is not currently available when i am checking smartstyles, how can i add this font style in smartstyles?

Not sure if this will help you... but just some pointers....
How about triggering the javascript on selection of a particular record in the table...? i.e. call the particular javascript function only when some row in the table is selected and not otherwise.
About row selection, you can try using some type of UI control like radio button and through iteration of the table, you can find out which row's radio button has been selected..

Dynamic Height of a lines in Adobe forms

Hi All,
Below is my form layout -
The middle boxes are always blank and just need to show as columns. Now, there is a chance of more data on both Black circle data and red circle data.
If any of these increased, then I want to show the blank cells as well with vertical lines (separating columns). I tried subforms etc., but no luck, any help is highly appreciated.
Required format:
In below : right side second red box has multiple values as i told, so I need to have lines like green color dynamic increased.

Need to format comma separated values in address line in Adobe Forms

Hi All,
I have one text in which fields are separated by comma. I want to display the text in a text field. But whenever there is a comma the text following it needs to be printed in the same text field on new line.
Is there any way to achieve this.
e.g. if the address line 01 = ABC, 01/123 XYZ, 890776
then the output should be printed as follows
ABC
01/123 XYZ
890776

Hi,
You need to put the code in the java script where you ll read the text in the texfield and then read it in diff var on the basis of the comma and then print the various var as an output.

Adobe Form not getting interactive in Web Dynpro

Hello Experts,
I am facing a strange sort of behaviour, which has drawn my plenty of time, while making use of Interactive Adobe Form in Web Dynpro component.
In my scenario, I have one existing Adobe Form with interface of type "ABAP Dictionary-based interface". While using this form in Interactive Form element in Web Dynpro and making it enabled, it is not giving me the expected output, that is - Interactive Form in browser window. Instead, it is showing me read only Adobe Form. Has it to do with type of interface?

Hello Harsh,
In webdynro adobe integration we use webdynpro native controls and the form must be in the
ZCI layout. In SFP >layout you have to insert the webdynpro script .After going to the layout
go to utilites and insert webdynpro script.Then you can find a variable containerfoundation_js.
If you have changed the layout from standard layout to ZCI layout in form builder (SFP), the update the layout using program FP_ZCI_UPDATE.

Standard print program for Adobe Forms

Hi all -
Does anyone know if there was a standard print program delivered for the predelivered Adobe form F110_AVIS_INT? And if there is - what is it? Is there any document anywhere to determine predelivered print programs for Adobe forms?

Triggering Workflow from Adobe Form in ERP

Hello,
With SAP ERP 2005 version, Adobe Interactive forms can be created within SAP environment. Is there a way to link the SAP Adobe forms to a SAP Workflow instead of using the Adobe Workflow Designer?
Can we trigger the approval process using SAP WOrkflow from Interactive Adobe form?

Interactive Forms is integrated in other environments that use workflow and make it easier to set it up:
Guided Procedures (in NetWeaver 2004s): Fully Java-based, GP is the process component of the Composite Application Framework (CAF), and thus largely model- and not development-based. You can use an interactive PDF form in a GP for offline steps.

can i use multiple controls in a single line in adobe form central. like if i want to use a grid along with that a text box in a single line then is it possible to do so. if yes then plz telme how?

Set the trace in SFP on. Then you should be able to read the name of the interface of the form from the data file or the name of the form from the protocol etc. Otto

Adobe form link in all line items

Hi,
I have a tipical requirement in WDA Adobe forms.
In a list of material line items, when ever click on any one of the items it should have link to the another adobe form depends on material type.
In this case we have 3 types of material types.So, here i have 3 different forms.
So, depends on this material type that each item should have to link with any of these 3 forms.
How can we do this?

Line item data does not appear on all master pages - Adobe forms

Hi Guys,
I have a problem in Adobe forms as explained below-
I have a page in the form which has, you can say, a 2 windows or subforms ( Information window/subfirm on top right corner, main on middle of the page ). The data of the main subform is a line item data of delivery. Some parts of the same data need to be printed on the Information subform also. The main subform can overflow to next pages but the information window will have only very limited data to be printed on one page itself, meaning it does not overflow.
Now the requirement is that each line item should be printed on a new page. For example if there are 2 lines items then first line item should be printed on first page. Then there will be a conditional page break and the next line item will be printed on the next page ( I have achieved this using condition page break). The information window will contain information related to corresponding line items. If the first line item data overflows in main then information window of first line item should be printed on first and 2nd page. The second line item should start printing on 3rd page and information window of 3rd page will contain data of 2nd line item.
I created 1 body page and 1 master page. I created one internal table with data of main window and information window. I put the information window on master page to make it appear on all the pages.
This solution unfortunately does not work. The issue is that in case of overflow, 1st page information window shows first line item. 2nd pages shows 2nd line item and 3rd page is blank whereas ideally 1st and 2nd page information window should show first line item and 3rd page should show 2nd line item. This means that master page and body page are not getting linked. If I create the information window on body page itself, it does not repeat on all the pages. Please provide some inputs to resolve the issue.

Line break on a user defined condition in adobe forms

Dear experts,
my problem is as follows:
i designed a form with adobe forms with a scheme like this.

my Problem is now that like breaks occour random.
for example:

     text2                                        page 1
     text3                                        page 2
11 text4
     text5
I want it like this:

     text3
11 text4
     text5
i want a line break the way that all positions are linked.

How to display line items corresponding to Header adobe form

Hi ,
As I am new to Adobe Form, So struggling with below problem related with Adobe Form.
For example, I have data in an internal table :
Stage      item
100         A
100         B
100         C
200         D
200         E
Here you have for field 'Stage' value '100' , I have 3 line items, for value '200' , it is 2 line items and so on.
My requirement is , I have to show Stage field at top and corresponding line items should be displayed in table.
Stage: 100
item
A
B
C
Stage: 200
D
E
I have used Nested table concept to achieve it but didn't get expected output.
Please help me out.

     If all of your line items are getting displayed in different pages, to my knowledge, there may be two possibilities.
1) May be the size of the main window can accomodate only one line item. If one item data fills up the window, then there wont' be any space for the next line item data to be accomodated in the same window in the same page, so, the system triggers the next page. Like-wise for each item data. If this is the case, increase the height of the main window to display items in same page.
2) Check the driver program. Find the Write_form block, which is written inside an item loop. May be there is a Form-control Function module( Control_form with parameter 'NEW-PAGE' ) being called after the write_fom block, within the loop. If this is the case, remove the control_form FM section to make the data display in same page.
