Link Plug in Tool

We currently use ISIToolBox(Image Solutions) to do our linking, and bookmarks in Acro 8/9. We need to upgrade our production systems to Windows 7. ISIToolBox is not compatible with Windows 7, they say they MAY have an upgrade in 2Q 2011, which doesn't work for us. Plus the cost to upgrade is the same as purchasing the product.
So we are looking for a replacement for ISIToolBox. Do you have any suggestions as to what works with Acrobat?

if you are talking about archiving or moving a project you can use the project manager tool.

if you are wanting to do proxy editing, there is no built in function. you would have to transcode proxy files and do a folder swap or use the offline/relink tool.

How to install the widget development plug-in Tool -URGENT

Hi I am new to the widget development.
I have already installed the NWDS7.0 SP9 , doing the development for the webdynpro and protal .
To work on widgets i have found the pulgins in the following url in the zip format.

SAP Widget Development Tools - zip file.zip file when i unzipp this file i have got the following dirctory structure.

When i copied these whole directory in my IDE installed plugin directory
C:Program FilesSAPIDEIDE70eclipseplugins
then i restarted the my IDE . But i have nt find any prospective or plugin enable with respect to widget.
I have went through the widget development guide (SAP Enterprise widget development guide.pdf). There it is explained that download the eclipse3.3.1 and then extract the eclipse.
so it is really confusing how to proceed.
My question is , will it be possible to installed the plugins with the installed NWDS by copy the plug-in tool (when i doo that it is not working, because when we extract it is giving 3 directory's seperatly "features, plugin, site.xml". do we need to copy this way to IDE plugin directory.) If i done this it is not workng?
or
Do i need to install the Eclipse seperately to install this widget development plugin.
Please help me to setup the eclipse development setup.

Finally i have decided to install the CE7.1 SP 3 version.
But which version of jdk is supported by SP3 is not given at the site.
Do u have any idea, if i install the CE7.1 SP3. and then can i install the SAP widget Foundation also along with that.

Create Data Link missing from tools menu in Labview 8.5

I've updated to Labview 8.5 and cannot locate the "Create Data Link" under the "Tools" menu. What happened to it ?

The "Create Data Link" is available in LabVIEW 8.5, and is found under "Tools" on the toolbar. Make sure that you have the Database Connectivity Toolset installed correctly. Please let me know if this helps, thanks!

When I access AOL on Firefox a "plug in tool bar" appears on the right side of my screen obliterating my scroll bar. How do I get rid of this annoying plug in bar?

AOL says it's your browser that is causing this, not AOL and it makes AOL pretty useless to use on Firefox. Much easier to use Windows Explorer. Can you get rid of this "browse or add plug in" bar? How do I get around this? Using Firefox on a Windows Vista operating system.

Opening in the sidebar is the default for bookmarks that are created via a link or button on a website.
You can check the properties of a bookmark via the right-click context menu in the sidebar (Ctrl+B; Command+B on Mac).
In the Bookmarks Manager (Bookmarks > Show All Bookmarks) you can click the More button in the Details pane at the bottom right.
Make sure that "Load this bookmark in the sidebar" is not selected.

How do I quickly change personas in Firefox 4? There is no longer a link on the "tools" menu

I just upgraded to Firefox 4 and I'm a little disappointed, as it is onerous to change my Firefox persona (no link on Tools menu) *and* there is no longer a "select random person from favourites" option! Will this be changed? Am I missing something (i.e. the options are there butn a new place?)

Exactly how does the Dual Link plug into the 30"

Ok I keep seeing pix of this plug yet I can't get a grip in how it works.
I am assuming it works with the DVI plug that comes with the 30"
If anyone has a photo of the way it is connected I would appreciate a link. I just want to see it. Can't explain why.
I have also still been only able to find mostly complaints about the plug. Is it really that bad. I will never get the full resolution without one but it seems not worth the trouble.
Anyone with experience or knows my options would be nice to hear from as well.
Lastly this.
I if hook this up without the dual I can still use my 2nd monitor but if I ever use a dual-link will I need a 2nd video card to keep my 2nd monitor running.
I assume yes using common sense but I haven't seen the setup.

Well that was the perfect answer. I never read that about the plug but now it makes sense why it looks the way it does in the pix.
I always thought it had 2 ins and 1 out. I mean it does but just in one plug.
I would still like to know if they are still junk. Do they still flicker and work bad.
30" in pointless without the resolution.
I use a 32" but it only goes to 1378 because it is a 720P and everything still gets in the way so that is why I also have my 24" running.
I do a lot of multiple tasks and like to look at one thing while doing another. Putting my word docs to the left and copying and pasting into quark but I like to see the formatting without having to look under the files to see what is bold, etc.
Well until I know about the plug there is NO WAY I am spending $100 for junk. I know Apple will say they are fine and I am sure there are people who's work perfect.

Import the file com.sap.portal.navigation.toolarea.par from the portal, open it with NWDS, look for the file toolAreaiView_nls.properties inside PORTAL-INF\private\classes. find the CLP_LINK_TEXT and change the value to whatever you want. you can also change the files of the individual languages.
Redeploy the par file back to the portal.
It is better if you can deploy it as your own toolarea for future upgrades.

I am trying find Layer 2 netflow monitoring tools at the moment i have checked with solarwinds,manage engine they are not supporting layer2 interfaces netflow export.Is there any other monitoring tool opensource/closed source applications which can export cisco Layer 2 links.

The tricky part is getting the alert from consumed bandwidth. That will be handled from your NMS software of course. To answer your questions-
#1 - You can use the interface OID in MIB-II. There may be a specific MIB on the 3G, but MIB-II should work just fine. You can check on the 3G MIB here: http://tools.cisco.com/Support/SNMP/do/BrowseOID.do?local=en
#2 - I think that would work. You would flow only your interface and send that to NMS. During an outage the router will hold the Netflow data, but I don't think it can push old stats after the primary link comes online. It would probably work if the outage was short but if it was longer, you would have to jump in the CLI and view the data there. I would lab it up, but I don't have any Netflow software

Linked Data Extraction Tool (Oracle or 3rd party) available?

We are looking for a way to extract a linked subset of data from the database. Our database schema is configured in such a way that entering a PK for one table (A) relates to many other tables (B1 – Bn) via one-to-many and many-to-one FK references, and access to the B tables have FK links to additional tables (C1 – Cn), etc. We have considered writing our own PL/SQL code to retrieve the linked data on demand by entering a PK for table A, and having the code provide all data related to table A as well as to the linked tables (B1 – Bn, C1 – Cn, … Z1 – Zn). Alternatively, functionality to retrieve a subset of data up to a certain number of rows has also been suggested (provided that the rows retrieved for each table are linked). However, before we begin coding this ourselves, we would like to know if there is any Oracle provided or third party tools/functionality that would facilitate this extraction. Thank you in advance for any information or suggestions you can provide.

Sybase provides the best data extraction utility called BCP. You can load and extract data. It is very user friendly. From your unix prompt if you type in BCP ? you will all the switches and
help messages you need to use. It is so simple.
Oracle dosn't have such a utility to extract data from table.
You need to write a Stored procedure and use UTF_FILE package to
extract data from table and write into a file.

I have a program that pulls a PDF into Adobe. There is a quick link in the tool bar to automatically add the PDF as an attachement into a new email in outlook. this feature is no longer working...why? (still works in explorer)

Link to Messaging tool data via ABAP stack

Is there a way to get access to adapter data or the audit log linked to a message id via ABAP class or a FM.
I'm using objects from CL_XMS_PERSIST and CL_XMS_PERSIST_ADM and either of them does not provide the adapter specific status.
I really appreciate any leads in this area.

I doubt there is any standard ABAP code available to access the adapter framework, since it runs in the J2EE stack. You might be able to access the information you want via http at http://host:port/mdt/monitorservlet, but this would likely require considerable reverse-engineering on your part.

Email Pop Up window on click of tool area Link.

How to Lock the Plug in Add on Tools in Adobe X?

Hello,
I have a folder level javascript with a tool button installed on users hard drives.
Those with Adobe Reader 8 and 9 shows the add on tool button automatically.
Those with Adobe Reader X have to use the steps as follows to show the plug in tools

Plug in add on Tools
The user has to follow all of the above steps each time a document is opened to click on the tool button.
This can become time consuming when many documents need to use the tool button consecutively.
Is there a way to lock the tool button so the user just has to click the tool button when a document is opened in Reader X?
Any assistance will be most appreciated.

In response to a question about finding the internal name of a custom button (such as one added using a folder-level JavaScript):
The app.addToolButton() method for Acrobat 9 and earlier uses the cName parameter to define the internal name of the tool and posts it to a special "Add-on" toolbar, for example:

In Acrobat X this function will create a new pane in the Tools Panel called "Plug-in Add-on Tools" if it's not already present, and post the button there rather than on the system toolbar or Quick Tools area; but the internal name of the resulting button used by the registry preferences will have the prefix "_legacy:". In this example, if you create a button using the above script and are referring to the button in the Acrobat X registry keys to pre-populate the button into the Quick Tools area, you should use the name
_legacy:myToolButton
However the button itself still has the internal name "myToolButton", so if you try to create it a second time, the script will fail because the name "myToolButton" is no longer unique. Don't use the "_legacy:" prefix in your button-creation script.
Note that in Acrobat X 10.0 you cannot use the app.removeToolButton() method to remove any buttons from anywhere (the toolbars or the Panes), nor can you use the app.listToolbarButtons() function to return an array of all the objects; as the API has no direct connection to the toolbars or Panes. When a script tries to create a new button the Acrobat X API diverts the function call to the Tools Pane, but it's strictly a one-way conversation.
