Link styles issues

Hello,
I have asked this question before, but nobody answered it.
I having a hard time setting link styles. I have done this several times without any issue, but since the new upgrade, it is impossible to control the link styles.
I'm attaching two screen shots with the link styles panel. One is referring to the footer
http://ivink.com/
And the other to the menu
http://ivink.com/cool-graphic-design.html
Please, I need help with this issue, have clients complaining...
Thanks,
Ignacio

Hi Ignacio,
What problem are you facing exactly with setting up the link style?

Aish

  • Link Styles not appearing

    I've created a Link Style that worked just fine on one block of text, but when assigned to another block, has no effect. I've deleted the offending block and started over, but the assigned Link Style still won't activate when viewing in the browser.

    Thanks, Sachin. Quitting and restarting Muse allowed me to continue, but I haven't had a chance to try and duplicate the problem. Right now, I have a more serious issue-I don't want to have to create separate versions of my site for tablets and phones since I haven't needed them before, and I can't figure out how to generate the Desktop code without the device sensing feature that points tablets to www.lightroom.com/tablet/index.html. Any advice?

  • Visited Link - Refresh Issue?

    Here's the scenario:
    The CSS link styles are designed to show a: link {blue} and
    a: visited {purple}.
    A user clicks a hyperlink from the home page. Upon clicking
    the IE Back button, the link displays the appropriate visited
    purple color on the home page.
    All is well at this point.
    However, with the home page displaying the aforementioned
    visited link in purple, when the user clicks anywhere on the home
    page, the visited link returns to its original blue.
    This is just one click. You could click in some white space
    on the home page, and the visited link "refreshes" to its original
    state.
    I have seen this issue with my HTML / CSS projects as well as
    many other instances on the Web.
    My goal is to have the visited link stay purple much like
    what occurs when using Google to surf the Net all day long.
    Please help as I have researched this issue now for two days
    on the Net and cannot find the appropriate answer and
    solution.

    Post a link to the page, please.
    By the way, it's a:link, not a: link (no space).

  • How can you have two link styles on one page?

    I have one style (formatted link style) for internal links in
    my footer but I want a different style for the external links in my
    mainContent. Is it possible to have two different "styles" of links
    on one page? I tried creating a new set for the mainContent links
    and being positioned underneath my footer link's styles, the "new"
    mainContent link styles overrode the footer link style. Is there
    another way of going about this?
    Thanks anyone, Julie

  • Text Link Styles not working in Footer Section

    I have a master page with a footer that has three columns of navigation text links inside.
    In order to match my design I have created a customer text link style for these links.
    However when I preview my site (in muse and browsers) the roll over effect (should show an underline) doesn't work.
    I've searched the forums and found that someone else had a similar problem and it was down to them having a paragraph and character style stacked on top of one another. However I have checked this on my links and this is not the case.
    NOTE: I have already successfully managed to create a similar style that resides in a side bar navigation panel in some of the sites internal pages and these link styles are working fine.
    So, I'm not sure if the file has become corrupt or if I'm missing something that I've done wrong?
    One question I have is at which point to you apply the text link style?
    1. By clicking on the line of text to select it?
        OR
    2. By clicking further into the text box; as if you were editing it, then selecting all of the characters in the word you want to make a link. With the word selected, click on the style name in the Character Panel to apply it?
        OR
    3. as with the above example, once you have selected all of the characters in the word you want to make a link. Click on the Hyperlink drop down arrow (from the main toolbar) and choose the style name you wish to apply, from the drop down box 'Text Link Style'
    NOTE:
    I'm running version v2.3, Build 50, CL 771675
    AIR Runtime: 3.5.0.600
    UPDATE:
    I couldn't wait any longer, so I just deleted the text boxes and styles and re-created them both and they seem to work now. Lot of additional work though that I'd rather have not had to do.

    Sorry, I forgot to say, to see how the email link at the
    bottom of the page should look please see www.bethhockley.com

    When you use the link pseudclass in your css it has to be expressed in the correct order.

    It doesn't matter that you have not expressed all four but the three that you have still need to be that way.

  • Different links styles in body and footer?

    Hello,
    I want to set different links style for hyperlinks in footer than they are in body of the site.  Is this even posible?
    The problem is that body background is white, and footer background is dark brown. So there is no way that I can use the same links styles.
    I know that there is "workaround" with linking text frames, but this is not what I want.

  • Link styles via CSS...

    Hi,
    I would like to control my link styles within my CSS panel,
    but if I set up one set (up, over, blah, blah)...how about if I
    want yet another style set for link text that's within a different
    color cell? Is it possible? How?
    Also, I have controlled background imagery and copy via CSS.
    But I would like to add ALT tags to portions of the background

    to the CSS. Do I just have to work with the HTML instead of the

    -- Same situation for the 'hot spot' tool, and I really need
    to use it but my bg image is unselectable due to it being inserted

  • Multiple link styles

    I have multiple link styles defined for a site, the links in the left column should underline on hover - I defined the style sheet a couple of months ago and it works. Here's the problem, I created a new page and added the link - it won't underline on hover. I have tried removing the style, adding the link, adding back the style, applying the style to just that one link, for some reason no matter what I try that one link won't take the style. Makes no sense to me. I have the same problem on another site - any help would be greatly appreciated!
    this is the page: www.yhpark.com/gallery.html
    and how I defined the link style:
    .LeftColNav a:link {
    font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;
    font-size: 12px;
    color: #3F3F3F;
    text-decoration: none;
    text-align: LEFT;
    .LeftColNav a:visited {
    color: #3f3f3f;

    .LeftColNav a:active {

  • Paragraph style issue when opening imdl (CS5) file in CS4

    Sending a CS5 file to a printer using CS4.  When they open the imdl file in CS4, it changes the paragraph style in the pull quotes. The initial character, whether a letter or a quote, appears tiny.  It looks like a paragraph style issue.  The 'quote' paragraph style in CS4 has a drop cap set on it.
    Has anyone else had this problem or have a suggested fix? Certainly, we can check our files in CS4 before sending each time, but what a pain!

    IDML is meant as an interchange format, and is far from "the same file but in another version".
    If your printer wants a CS4 file, send them a CS4 file. Better yet, ask them why you have to send them native files anyway and what's their problem with a PDF?

    The text colour styles of each are different.
    So I wanted to allocate seperate a:link a:visit a:hover
    a:active to both navigations, to do this I have used the following
    css:
    For the horizontal navigation:
    .table2 a:link, a:visited {
    text-decoration:none;
    color:#FFFFFF;
    .table2 a:hover, a:active {
    color: #8da2c4;
    For the second navigation:
    .table3 a:link, a:visited {
    text-decoration:none;
    color: #717578;
    .table3 a:hover{
    color:#333333;
    However when uploaded, instead of the horizontal navigation
    returning to white once visited, it turns grey - the colour of the
    second navigation. The browser (IE) obviously has trouble
    seperating the assigned link styles even though I have tried
    targeting more specifically.
    Does anyone know of a way around this, if there is a way at
    all??!
    Much appreciated

    Pseudo-classes and container styles are what you need - here
