I want to download active directory migration tool 3.2 from site, and i got link for that file

Combining .part with .exe, by downloading an .exe file, doesnt work.

if i want do download an .exe file, combining .part with the .exe doesnt work because the .exe is opened in explorer.exe.
.exe cant be deleted, too.
I download the files to my desktop.
Every other filextension works perfectly.

Readers and Writers are for text. For binary data use InputStream and OutputStream.

Command Link with Datatable doesnt work

I had read the previosu posts stating that commandLink with the datatable will be corrected with the new version of Jsf- 1_1_01 .I installed the new version and the commandLink doesnt work inside a datatable still

-DevioutputLink is similar to <href in jsp.It cannot implement the actionListener and action parameters which a commandLink does. Using a constructor for initializing is fine but when i want it to implement certain method then it creates a problem.

TCS2 - Cross References between linked Frame files not working

Hi,
All the cross-references in my linked in FrameMaker 9 files work when output in PDF, however, when outputting WebHelp from RoboHelp 8, FrameMaker cross references that reference another FrameMaker file (i.e. not Current) do not work. The format is correct, they appear blue and underlined like every other link/cross-reference, but when moused over in the browser, there's no link to click. The HTML created by RoboHelp does not point to a file. For example, here's the HTML for one link not working as shown from within RoboHelp:

RoboHelp appears to partially convert the link as appears in the HTML but I think there should be more information in the <a> definition, such as in the HTML created for a link that references a topic created from the same FrameMaker file.

I've ensured all the cross-references in each framemaker file in the book have the same format and are mapped to <$paratext> in the project settings. I've also tried importing the FrameMaker book instead of linking it and the same problem persists.
Any ideas on how to make RoboHelp create the link correctly? Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

Most of the major cross reference issues have been resolved in TCS 2 with further improvements in TCS 3.
Please ensure that you have all the patches of TCS 2 installed on your system.
If the issue is still there, there could be an altogether different reason for cross reference not working or the issue might have been fixed in TCS 3.
The reason or workaround can be analysed once the sample files with the issues are provided.
It will be great if you could share a small sample FM document containing the cross reference and target having the issue. If the cross reference is across documents, then a FrameMaker book along with its FM files can be shared in a zip format.

Links to files not working in Safari 5.1

I have an HTML document on my hard drive that links to various TextEdit files on my computer. It's a great shortcut tool. I click a link, and it instantly opens up the file in TextEdit.
However, I just upgraded to Safari 5.1, and now when I click these links, nothing happens. No error, no file opens, nothing.
Any ideas?

There are a couple of DjVu applications out there that might be useful for viewing the documents outside of the browser. I have something called DjView on my iMac, and there's another named MacDjView listed at MacUpdate. (I haven't messed with DjVu in over a year, and I'm foggy here.)

How to export/import prefs.js? Copying the file doesnt work

I want to export/import about:config changes. The paths is "Firefox/Profiles/i63866ho.default-1384517947097/prefs-js". I copied prefs.js, all the content of the folder "i63866ho.default-1384517947097" and "Profiles" folder also. Nothing worked. When I copied prefs.js it didnt do anything and comes back to the old/first prefs.js after restarting firefox. When I copy the folder it says it cannot be done.
Can someone help me?

I finally got the way, no need to change profiles.ini
I was as close as far from getting it. I was replacing Profiles folder when firefox was open. But firefox must be closed, I must copy all the content from the extrange named folder inside Profiles, replacing it for the content of the new one after restoring.
1. Set firefox with all changes on about:config, extensions, tabs, etc that I like, and then close it, cmd+q
2. Copy all content from the extrange folder in Profiles (something like niwxnm2h.default-1384723124135)
3. Open firefox and restore it, closing it again when it restarts.
4. Now, being firefox closed, replace the content from the new extrange folder by the old / copied.
5. Done, just start firefox.
So now I have two copies, with changes on about:config and with about:config and extensions.

Link to Share doesnt work since 1 week

The ability to share was discontinued a little while back. The service is still active until the 30th May to give people time to retrieve their stuff. After that date your media will be lost unless you download it now.

Include File doesnt work with URLs

Hi guys,
Im using <jsp:include page="/topper.htm" flush="true"/> to include topper. Can i use the full URL ex <jsp:include page="http://www.hotelrooms2bid.com/topper.htm" flush="true"/>. Since the topper and footer will come from different Web Server, i have to use the full URL
the Full URK path is not working in this case.
pls help me.any inputs or ideas will be highly appreciated

The relative URL looks like a pathname--it cannot contain a protocol name, port number, or domain name. The URL can be absolute or relative to the current JSP page. If it is absolute (beginning with a /), the pathname is resolved by your web or application server.
You could use a servlet in your "path" attribute and have that servlet read and return the page from a different server; there are ways to do what you want, but <jsp:include> isn't one of them.

Import files doesnt work

At first I thought that after effects didnt support the . mts file. I converted the file and tried other files but no matter what the file it said "After Effects error: Can't import file "..............": unsupported filetype or extension

Reverse file Doesnt Work

After defining the file technology and connection details I tried to reverse the data from the file but nothing
happens and no error message is shown.The file is csv file and all the details were defined well.
Did sombody have the same problem ?

The columns tab in the datastore is where I try to do the reverse.

DW pages doesnt work correctly

All pages made with Dreamweaver CC doesnt work in my browsers. I made design as in tutorial, but I can see only texts in browser. I used Explorer, Opera, Chrome. I also started my site on server, but problem is the same. Its strange that example file doesnt work too

Assuming you defined a local site folder in DW before you began this project, I'm guessing your style sheet is not properly linked to your HTML page or you forgot to upload it to your server.

If you didn't define a local site folder, DW cannot manage links and assets for you. You must define a site for all new projects by going to Site > New Site and tell DW where to keep local site files on your hard drive. See screenshot.

Related Link doesnt work with Multiple Helpsets

Robohelpx4.1 is used as the authering tool to generate our help files in OHW format. We have different projects creating one helpset file each and it is merged in the ohwconfig.xml. Each helpset has its own link,map,index,Toc files created by robohelp. The link file created by robohelp has the linkitem id created in seq order and names as Link01,Link02,Link03..... .
The link file of other helpset also has the same structure and ids. (The linkitem id's are not unique across the helpsets)
But the related link doesnt work properly when more than one helpset is configured, for both the options of combined book and separate books. Links get mixed up and shows topics of other links.
Is there anyway this can work ?
