Link to Help / Sap Libary /; ../ application help...

Hello all,
we would like to make some help available in a WebDynpro application like it is done in a "normal" Dynpro (Top of teh window Menue "Help").
I found some entry points where I can do this:
- in the application properties
- in the windows properties
there are "Help Menue Text" and a "Help Link" waiting for input. I try to add an link with the f4-help but nothing happened.
Now I want to now how I can link an Link to the official help library.

see the <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/44/336208da18060be10000000a155369/frameset.htm">documentation</a> on help texts and note that you need the correct RFC destination to your Knowledge Warehouse system, as stated in the documentation.

Why is RoboHelp not displaying the required data content of .chm when linked as Help in my App ?

Gorgeous Hello All,
Has anyone encountered the below-said show- stopper. Another BIG TIME help required, will help me in tremendous fashion.
Am using Adobe RoboHelp, Version 10 and IE version being 10.
In my local machine :
1.)I have completed my technical writing courtesy Design editor
2.)Generating chm File : View -> Pods –> Single Source Layouts -> Right Click on Microsoft HTML Help -> Tagged Set as Primary Layout
3.)Generating Primary Layout : File -> Generate -> Primary Layout (Microsoft HTML Help)…
4.)Viewing Primary Layout : File -> View -> Primary Layout
Everything works FANTASTICALLY till here with the required output (as Hide, Back, Refresh, Home, Print, Options, Contents, Index, Search, Glossary and with the data contents)
Show Stopper, At my Application Server :
5.)I copy the entire robohelp project folder from my local machine to my application Server path
6.)My Application has been developed in ASP .NET, Version 4.0.
7.)Help link has been created in this application wherein here the file name of < >.chm has been linked in the code to be read from the Server’s RoboHelp project folder\!SSL!\ Microsoft_HTML_Help\
8.)I login into my above-said application -> click on the Help page -> Displays the required structure /buttons as Hide, Back, Refresh, Home, Print, Options, Contents, Index, Search, Glossary
a.)Clicking on any of the Books or Topics appearing beneath Contents : The System prompts out with error cautionary message called “ Navigation to the webpage was cancelled. What you can try: Retype the address ”
*** This is a huge SHOW-STOPPER. I spent plenty of hours on this, but unable to deciper with a solution at all) ***

If you looked at the error message and searched the forum, you should find the answer as this is a problem that started in 2005. You should not run CHM files from a server and cannot without editing the users registry. See the page below.

My Mac is very slow and applications take a long time to load, especially Safari and iTunes. Please help.    I have run the Etrecheck report and these are results.

How to link Value Helps in Visual Composer?

I would like to know, how to link value helps in VC...??? It's like.....after selecting a value from Value Help 1, how do i restrict my Value Help 2 values so that it contains the values that are relevant to the value selected from Value Help 1 only....???? Thanks so much for your help. I have been trying to do the way that you have suggested but am unsuccessfull...... Can you please tell me as to where should I create a field in the second popup view...??? After I double click on the link between "Start" and the "BAPI" in the second popup view...... , I find no "+" symbol in the "Configure Element Panel" using which I can add the value taken from the first popup view.....
Is there any pdf file or documentation that shows as to how to do this process...????

I'm installing and I have the same problem.
An error occurred while processing option SAP NetWeaver 7.0 SR1 including Enhancement Package 1 > SAP Application Server ABAP > MaxDB > Central System > Central System( Last error reported by the step :Program 'Migration Monitor' exits with error code 103. For details see log file(s) import_monitor.java.log, import_monitor.log.). You can now:
Choose Retry to repeat the current step.
Choose View Log to get more information about the error.
Stop the option and continue with it later.

Until and unless you remember the password to your old email address, you will not be able to access the eBooks as those eBooks are only authorized with your old email address only.
The only workaround or alternative to access your eBooks will be to contact the eBook vendor and ask them to migrate the eBook from your old email to the new one.

FTP Server is not built in WAS. Integrate third-party products, tools, and applications, SAP Web Application Server supports several open connectivity standards, including the J2EE Connector Architecture and Microsoft .NET connectivity.
A wide range of protocols and formats is supported for communication with SAP, non-SAP, and third-party components. SAP Web Application Server is open to the Common Object Request Broker Architecture (CORBA), Component Object Model+ (COM+), File Transfer Protocol (FTP), and SMTP to connect to non-SAP systems.
IDoc and HTTP adapters sit on ABAP stack and the rest of the adapters(File, JDBC, SOAP etc) sit on JAVA stack.
File Transfer Protocol (FTP) is an open protocol for exchanging files on a server.

SAP Sample Applications on CE7.1

Gurus,
We are trying to install / configure the simple SAP applications provide in the link below by SAP.
We are proceeding step by step with the documents provided by SAP. But we see that in our CE7.1 EHP1 version we dont see the menu path mentioned in the SAP document.
Can anyone who has implemented these simple applications help us in pointing what is wrong?

I have implemented these samples in CE7.1 EHP1.
Do you mean that you cant find
Window->Preferences->General-?Network Connections in your IDE.If this is the problem the you need to reistall your IDE.While installing it will ask for the update site.You have to give it properly then only all the plugins will be installed.
If this is not your problem,then kindly let me know what do you mean by "We dont see the menu path".

This is very good question - each SAP page is listing different applications and information is quite fragmented.
Looking at help.sap.com seems to suggest that only "SAP Strategic Workforce Planning 1.0" is out.

Then looking at two pages below is seems that "SAP CO-PA Accelerator" and "SAP Smart Meter Analytics" is also available.

Extension fields in forms using Adobe LiveCycle Designer and SAP Cloud Application Studio.

Hello everyone,
I am new to using SAP Cloud Application Studio and am currently working on forms.
I have created some extension fields in the dunning letter form message type : FormDunning Notification.
Upon activating, the extension fields do show up in backend form data type structure.
However i am unable to find the fields in the front end form under Form Template Maintenance.
I have tried opening form with open editor as well as downloading template and opening in Adobe LiveCycle Designer .
After creating the data connection in adobe ,the first field (ProjNumDun ) do appear in correct place in data view.But i cant find the rest of the fields.
Any help,guidance and suggestion will be really appriciated.

Kamakshi,
First, any extension fields added must be explicitly assigned to appear on the forms. Through Front-end Adaptation, this would be via the "Further Usage" link. Within the SDK, you'd right-click the XBO and select "Enhance Forms" (which would take you to the same screen as you'd end up at in through front-end").
You must select "Add Field and Edit..." to actually assign it to the Form Template schema.
Once this step is done, re-download the Form Template, and make sure to reload the Data Connection within LiveCycle. Through there, you should see your fields. You'll likely have to dig for them - they appear at the very end of the child elements.
Note that, while fields added through the front-end have a long string appended to the end (for example, it would appear as "ExtensionField_1234AISU897234HJA" if added via front-end adaptation), the fields added via the SDK do NOT have the suffix (you'll be looking for an element with JUST the field name, i.e. "ExtensionField")

I did not find any application type for Transfer order in Tcode: NACE.
What shall i do now. Please help me out?

SAP Cloud Applications Studio for ByDesign Partners

If a ByDesign Partner requires access to SAP Cloud Applications Studio for some development work for ByDesign can they request for the Studio for Free or do they have to pay for the use of it?

Any update by SAP on this? I'm unable to get to any help documentation via the SDK and links to API's and Web Services are all broken. The web site is not of much use right now to research any API capabilities, etc. ...
