LinkedIn App - Can't update status - URL Empty - N...

Hi
I have a Nokia N8. I downloaded the LinkedIn App from the Ovi store. When I try to share an update I get an error saying "'submitted-url' can not be empty". There's text in the main window and I've tried all the combinations of visible to and post on twitter, but I get the same error.
Please help!

Thank you! I did change my Apple ID in february. But as I recall it I downloaded the app later than that, and in the Info in iTunes (on the Mac) it mentions my new Apple ID. I also bought it in Spain, and now I'm in Denmark. But none of the other apps I bought at the same time have had those problems. And do you have any solution to solve the problem? I tried to login with my old Apple ID, but for some reason the password won't work. It even told me that my birthday is wrong when I tried to renew the password? Issues: Browser Not Working / Device Storage Almost Full - Not Apps / Can Not Update.

Hello there.
I am having three main issued with my BlackBerry Q5 at the moment.
Firstly, I click on the icon for my Browser and all that I can see is the URL box and the two buttons either side, however none of them are functional. This is an issue that has occurred overnight - yesterday the browser was fully functional.
Secondly and thirdly, I have been trying to install a software update and I keep receiving the error message that 'Device Storage is Almost Full' which interrupts the download. I have tried deleting applications and anything else that I can find, however it is having no effect upon my storage space: 6.2mb is in use under the name 'other data' - as I earlier said, this is not my applications, so any idea what this could be referring to?

I am having the same problem it is nothing short of absolute ridiculousness! 2.54 Gb are not enough for a 978 Mb of download? (trying to download version 10.3.1.1565).
The browser is using up 140Mb which are still there even after deleting every history, bookmarks, cache and what not. I even deleted any content possible leaving 31 Mb of user files. Please explain how can I possibly download the new update if the system is already using 2.09 Gb. Ridiculous!

IPod app: can't update podcast

1. In the iPod app on my (original) iPad, I select a podcast (e.g. MacBreak Weekly) and see that "Salty Snacks" (episode 244) is the last one I have.
2. I choose "Get More Episodes…".
3. The iTunes app takes me to the MacBreak Weekly page in the iTunes Store, where I see that "It Just Looks Thicker" (episode 245) is the most recent one.
4. I click on the FREE button and then the GET EPISODE button and episode 245 starts downloading. I watch it downloading completely in the Downloads section.
5. I switch back to the iPod app and see Macbreak Weekly just as it was, i.e. the most recent episode is still 244 "Salty Snacks", and I can't find the episode I just downloaded.
Any ideas why this is happening? Some notes:
1. I have a similar problem using the Music app on my iPod touch. The difference is that, on the iPod touch, the iTunes app won't let me try to redownload the episode; it appears to remember that I've already downloaded it, even though the episode doesn't show up in the Music app. On my iPad, I can go back to the iTunes Store in the iTunes app and redownload (even though the download never shows up in the iPod app).
2.The same problem occurs with any podcast I try to update; i.e. this isn't just a MacBreak Weekly problem.
3. I'm using 4.3.3 now but this problem has persisted for quite some time on the iPad. On the iPod touch, updating sometimes worked during the 4.3.2 days.

App Can't Update/Stuck on Waiting

Hello everyone. Out of the blue, My iPad Mini Retina's apps would not update. I've tried resetting network settings to no avail, and even after updating to ios 8.1 today it still is having issues. No matter what, apps are stuck in the "waiting" mode. Anyone else having this problem or does anyone know how to fix it?

Thank you. So while this did fix the issue for the time being, i'd still like to be able to update apps without connecting to the computer. I can install and download updates through itunes, but still cannot without a computer.

Can't update status for Service PO on MRBR invoices

I added some screenshots to the attachment.
I posted a Shipment Cost Document on VI01 for $754.54 and I did the Settlement that triggered a PO / Service Entry Sheet for this amount.
Then we posted an invoice to this Service Entry Sheet to the Amount of $ 1054.54 and the document was posted blocked for payment due to the Price Tolerance Limits check. Correct behavior.
The document is on hold at MRBR to be released. So far, so good.
Then I changed the PO Expected Limit from 754.54 to 1054.54 and that updated the Net Price at the PO but it didn't change the status on MRBR.
Then I took a regular Service PO (not a PO for services triggered by VI01), but in this case, we don’t post a Service Entry Sheet to this PO. The PO original amount was 4998.00. I posted the Invoice as 6000.00 and that was blocked for payment due to price tolerance check. Then I went back to the PO and changed the services limit to 6000.00
After changing the PO the document status in MRBR changed (yellow highlighted to the fields below) and field Difference Value was reduced to 0.00
So, In a regular Invoice blocked for payment due to price variance, we would go to the Purchase Order and fix the PO Item amount (we would change the net price in a goods PO or the Services Limits in a Service PO, even if a MIGO was already posted) and then the document blocked for payment at MRBR would be changed the blocked indicator to “yellow”, meaning that the price difference was fixed and the document can be manually released for payment..
In the freight scenario, actually in the Service PO, what would be the procedure for that? By changing the Services Limits it didn’t change the status at MRBR.
If I add the extra 300.00 to the shipment cost document, the system creates a new service entry sheet which will require a new Invoice Verification but it doesn’t change the invoice blocked indicator in MRBR to “yellow”.
Is this a standard behavior for Invoice posted for Service Entry Sheet? What is the best practices to handle deviances between Carriers Freight Invoice and Invoice Verification for Shipment Cost Purchase Orders?

Adobe Creative Cloud app can't update any application

Hello
I have a problem wit update all the installed programs by Adobe Creative Cloud app. After installing all the programs, the have always status up to date (green icon), but that is not true. For another computer that have higher version. Adobe Creative Cloud app it's up to date for Version 1.6.0.393 released on 05/27/2014. All the file and font is sync'd but application not. I have OSX 10.8.5.

My Tom Tom app can't update as it tells me I haven't enough space for it, how can I make space for the update?

I didn't think that I have that much on my iPad , but I can't seem to understand how to make room for this update. If I delete the app and try to reload it will I have lost this app and data and have to re buy it

I would suggest freeing up some space on your iPhone either from the Music app, or podcasts with this:
Delete a song from iPhone: In Songs, swipe the song, then tap Delete.

You can also free space by deleting other Apps on the iPhone
Remove app
If you are having issues with a particular app, try removing the app from your iPhone.

Tap Delete to remove the app and all of its data from your iPhone.

Creative Cloud desktop app doesn't show apps/can't update

Hello,
I am trying to update my current Creative Cloud apps, specifically Premiere Pro CC to the latest release.
I have installed the Creative Cloud desktop app which launches the Home tab but when I click on the Apps tab
I don't get any apps listed. I click on the Reload button but nothing happens.
I have a solid internet connection.
The error says: Download error. Please retry to try again or contact customer support.
Any tips on how to solve this?

Quit the App Store.
Go to /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration
Move the NetworkInterfaces.plist file from the SystemConfiguratin folder to the Trash.
Relaunch the App Store.

TS1702 Can't reinstall apps, can't update apps. Help

When I have try download a few apps lately none have came on screen. When I had to delete and reinstall a game I've spent lots of dollars in n enjoy playing the circle spins to download then nothing. I've tried updating my apps also nothing happens.

Basic Troubleshooting Steps are:

Vinod is correct in that you can build a new app that's iPad-only, but if you try to submit it as an update to the existing app, Neil is correct--Apple will reject it because it's considered a downgrade. You either need to stick to the universal app and do something like create a single iPhone folio that refers users to the iPad, or you need to submit it as a new app.

UPDATE QUERY can't update table

During 1500-2000 concurrent users, DB Transaction locks occur. So that Update query can't update table and we get inconsistent data. How can we avoid this inconsistent data?? Why we get transaction locks??
Eg. In update query it update the status of user with completed; but because of transaction lock update query can't update status of user it remains uncompleted. So we can get wrong status of user(inconsistent data). Why UPDATE query update the status
of user???

You are not getting inconsistent data, you are getting the data according to the isolation level you are running under. The isolation level determines the locking model and therefore determines any bad dependencies you may experience. Reducing the bad dependencies
through higher isolation level will lower concurrency. *This* is the core concept of Transactional Processing theory.
Furthermore there is not really such a thing as a DB Transaction lock - at least not in the way you mean. SQL server does use DB locks (such as Shared transaction workspace and Exclusive transaction workspace) but the highest level of lock escalation is
the object level (heap or btree) so those are the things you are really interested in. In the ideal would you want all Exclusive, Shared and U locks to be taken at the RID (heaps) or Key (cluster tables) level - and only have few of them per query.
In conclusion think carefully about your query and how it is implimented under the covers by the database engine.

I deviated from the instructions by manually deleting all my contacts while in Mobile Me before trying the forced update because it hadn't worked in the past to force transfer the addresses. I thought starting with a clean slate might be a step ahead. Now that clean slate seems permanent.
The gutsy move was to make Mobile Me download the empty address book into my MacPro. My address book went empty until I restored it through the archive I'd saved. It proved the computer and Mobile Me are communicating since it wiped out my address book on my desktop. I restored everything by importing the archive back into the address book. Thankfully that part is fine.
What is not working is for me to get ANY addresses to move back to Mobile Me despite repeated attempts at changing the reset action through the advanced selection of Mobile Me in System Preferences. I've unselected syncing and restarted the computer. I've signed out of MM and signed back in. I've closed the browser and opened it fresh again. I've closed and opened Address Book on the computer. None of those actions make a whit of difference. Mobile Me contacts remains empty when I tell it to replace MM with the contents of my AB on my MacPro.
I see under the gear there is an ability to import vCards. Is there any way to do a batch import? I have almost 700 addresses separated into more than a dozen groups. It will be a mighty tedious process to import them one by one.
No, iCloud is not an option. My computer is one version too old to upgrade to Lion.
