Linking 6630 and PCSuite 6.8 via Bluetooth

Why does this not work? Why am I experiencing endless problems. I have a reliable, sloid Bluetooth installation on my PC that is used every day for communications without problems.
1. Just linking is a nightmare. The passkey exchange times out at the phne end before I have a chance to enter it on the PC and the automatic authorisation feature on the phone clearly does not work. Never less than four or five attempts to just get a link.
2. Synchronisation will not work. It just drops out. Again the Bluetooth functionality on my PC is solid and proven.
I use Windows XP Pro ... is this a problem? Is the PC Suite application simply not up to the job? If so, what is the alternative?

Have you tried unpairing the device (if paired) and re-pairing it via the Nokia Connection Wizard in PC Suite?
Does your pc recognize the 6630 at all?

  • Isync not opening and won't sync via bluetooth

    Hey guys,
I have an older SE W810i cell phone and I'm trying to use isync via bluetooth to sync. Everything was syncing perfectly up until MobileMe was released. Now I cannot sync at all. However, I can browse the device via Bluetooth.
When I click on isync in my dock, isync bounces 1 time and does not open.
Is this something to do with mobile me or does it sound like an issue with isync?
    Thanks for any advice!

It's nothing to do with MobileMe and is more likely related to a recent Mac OS X Update.
Move the iSync application to the desktop, then move it back into the Applications folder. Then see if it will load.

  • CK-7W and 6230i only connects via bluetooth

I have installed the carkit ck-7w and the phoneholder MBC-15S, but the only way my phone will connect to the carkit is via the bluetooth. When I put the phone in the holder (MBC-15S and the datacable)it starts charging but doesn't route the microphone or speaker to the carkit. The symbol that indicates a connection to the carkit (the symbol of a little car) does not appear. I have tried to replace the headunit of the carkit and the datacable, but without success. I also assume that the holder (MBC-15S) is not the problem because the problem is still there when the datacable is connected directly into the 6230i. Replacing the phone with an identical 6230i itself doesn't resolve anything, so I assume the 6230i isn't the source of the problem.
Does anyone know a solution to this problem?
Have anyone experienced a similar scenario?
Could it be a software issue regarding the 6230i?

Hi! Just wanted to share the solution to my previously described problem.
It turned out that the CK-7W carkit wouldn't work properly as a result of an extension CAT-5 cable. During the installation ut turned out that the cable that runs from the phoneholder (MBC-15S) to the CK-7W was too short, so I decided to use an extension cable. The extension cable was an ordinary CAT-5 cable with 8P8C plugs in both ends, approximatly 50 cm long, connected to a free standing socket witch allows a 8P8C plug to inserted in both ends, making it possible to plug the male ends from the original datacable to the aftermarket CAT-5 plug(8P8C plug) together.
I removed the CAT-5 cable and used only the original datacable and the problem was solved.
I tested the CAT-5 cable and the free standing socket in a computer and everyting worked fine. So I guess there was nothing wrong with my aftermarket cable equipment.

  • My iphone 6 connects to the car via bluetooth, the music works good, but the phone calles does not work.  It looks like it is working but doesn't.  I have tried in my Hyundai and a Dodge rent car and get the same results.  I updated the last 8.0.2.

My iphone 6 connects to the car via bluetooth, the music works good, but the phone calls does not work.  It looks like it is working but doesn't.  I have tried in my Hyundai Sonata and a Dodge Dart rent car and get the same results.  I updated the last 8.0.2.  It worked the first day i had the phone, and then i updated to Ios 8.0.2 and it quit working.
Now when i get in the car, it acts like it is connected and makes the same call it was on after syncing to bluetooth, but it really isn't on a call.  This is happening on both cars.
Does anyone know if this is the phone and i need to take it to Apple or if there is an issue that Apple is working on getting a fix for?
My son in law has the exact same phone as me, we both got the on 10/6, he had a Dodge Dart and his is working via bluetooth.
Someone HELP please, as i consider this a safety issue by not having my calls go to bluetooth.

We had the same problem, but figure out the solution.
You MUST have at least 1 song added to your ITUNE!  After you add a free song, then everything else should work as normal!
    Hope this helps!

  • Hi my wife and I have an iphone 5 each yet we cannot connect via bluetooth any solutions please

    Hi All
My wife and I cannot connect via bluetooth both phones just go in search mode but find nothing and both phones are now discoverable any help please thanks in advance

You can do it via Wi-Fi through email. Or you can set up an iPhoto library with a shared PhotoStream in order to share photos.
If you both sync your devices using iTunes to the same iTunes Library, then you can have a common library of data that each of you can sync to your devices. You can also share data through your iCloud storage account. You have 5 GBs for your Apple ID and can purchase more if needed.

  • Is it possible to connect my Ipad2 via bluetooth to my iMac

I'd like to sync my new iPad2 via bluetooth to my Quadcore i7 iMac, instead off using the thin white USB-cable that comes with the iPad2. Syncing works fine over the cable, but it would be easy the use a wireless connection to sync iPad2 via iTunes on the iMac. Any suggestions? I've heard a rumor that iOS5 would support such wireless link...

Transferring such data via bluetooth - music, videos, and 3rd party apps would not be nice. Via w-fi would be nice which will be supported with iOS 5.
    http://www.apple.com/ios/ios5/features.html
Wirelessly sync your iOS device to your Mac or PC over a shared Wi-Fi connection. Every time you connect your iOS device to a power source (say, overnight for charging), it automatically syncs and backs up any new content to iTunes. So you always have your movies, TV shows, home videos, and photo albums everywhere you want them.

  • Transfer pictures from iphoto to picture frame via bluetooth

I have just bought a Sony picture frame which has a bluetooth dongle. I am looking to find a way to send pictures directly from iphoto '09 to the picture frame. Any ideas?
I can do it one picture at a time by sending each file by selecting the send file option from the bluetooth menu on the desktop, but i have to know the file name to do that. It would be so much easier if i could select the pictures in iphoto and them just send via bluetooth to the end device which is the picture frame.
    Thanks for any help

    Welcome to the Apple Discussions.
When you go to send a file using Bluetooth File Exchange that opens a standard Open... dialogue, and on the left there's a Media heading, your pics can be accessed there. Command-Click for selecting multiple pics.

  • How can I link my iPad Air and iPhone 4s via Bluetooth, please?  They haveBluetooth turned on but will not find each other.

How can I link my iPad Air and iPhone 4s via Bluetooth, please?  They both have Bluetooth turned on but will only search and find nothing. The words 'Now Discoverable' appear under the search panel.

for the devices to find each other via Bluetooth you would need to turn on the iPhones cellular hotspot and then let them search for each other. As far as I have found this Bluetooth connection is only for connecting the iPad to internet via iPhones data plan.
To transfer photos you could setup a new photo stream and put the photos you want transferred in it. When it syncs to the iPad you can save directly to the camera roll and delete the photo stream. You may also be able to delete the photos old photos and re-add them to photo stream so it looks like they are new to the iPad.

  • Qosmio G20-118 and Active Sync via bluetooth

I cant make activesync to work when connecting my Pocket PC (With Windows Mobile 2003 second edition) via bluetooth. Can anyone help or post a link to a help page?
    Thanks in advance,
    Miguel Amaro

    Hi
As far as I know the Pocket PC must be in the cradle.
    1. "Tap" on start and choose the ActiveSync program
    2. Then "tap" on "Tools" and choose "Options" in the ActiveSync Program
    3. Check under "Enable synchronization when cradled using" to see if the setting is on Bluetooth
Important: Please remove the Pocket PC from the cradle and then return it to the cradle.
    This activates the new setting
    Bye

  • How do I send videos and photo's from my mobile to the iPad via Bluetooth?

I am trying to send videos and photo's to my iPad from my mobile via Bluetooth but it won't work. The phone pairs with the iPad but won't connect to send files. Do I need an app for this? I am not very technical minded so please try and keep the answer as simple as possible.
    Thanks

The simplest thing I can think of is, a app called iFiles. It costs £1.79.
There is a free similar type program called Dropbox, but this one requires a wifi connection to access the files etc you have uploaded. Whereas the iFiles app doesn't need any type of connection after the files etc have been uploaded.
Once you have installed the iFiles app on the iPad. Connect the iPad to your computer via the usb cable.
The iPad will now appear on the left handside. Left click on it. Along the top of the screen you will see, summary, apps, music and so on.
Click on the word APPS. You will now see at the bottom of the screen a section called FILE SHARING, along with two little windows. On the left side box should be iFiles. Click on the iFiles entry in this box.
Next you should see on the right handside window, iFile documents, at the bottom of this box is a button with ADD on it. Click on this and locate the files etc on your computer that you are wanting added onto your iPad, click on the SYNC button, they are then uploaded onto your iPad and they are now available for you to access wherever you are. You don't need any connection, i.e. wifi, cellular connection.
Here's a couple of screen shot showing what I have explained above:
Here's a link to the iFiles site:

here is an interesting thing: take the iphone and set lock screen to never. Now make an email with siri--be sure to activate her with call button. get to the body and get some text in there. then just stop talking. LOCK SCREEN APPEARS!!!!!! and of course you draft is gone.
There does seem to be a work around for some--maybe all these issues. Don't use the call button--use the buttons on the phone.
Siri seems to behave properly with scenerio above---sans call button. She does not go to lock.
