Linking Deliveries to a particular Driver

Hi.
1) I created a 'Route Sales' order (No. 25) and completed the order by generating:
       a) Delivery Number (No.100),
       b) Shipment Number (No. 2001).
       This transaction can be linked back to the driver for payment of commission through tables VTTK,VTTP,LIPS etc.
2)Along the route, Sales Orders (No. 26) and Delivery (No. 101) and several others were created for customers but these deliveries cannot be linked to any shipment.
Logically, Delivery No 101 belongs to Shippment No 2001(in my example), but this is not the case. NO SHIPMENT DETAILS EXIT for the subsequent sales and deliveries.
HOW can I link delivery no 101 to a shipment and to the driver.

The issue was resolved by other means.

Illustrator missing links when working on network drives

Hi everyone,
I've been experiencing this problem since several versions ago. Is only that now has become more apparent since our team have started to work collaboratively in the same files. Let me explain the problem.
If I have an Illustrator file on my local drive with several images linked everything works fine. Now if I move that file (and its linked images) to a network drive which is shared by the entire team and I open the file every thing is in place as long as I'm the last person that saved the file. If a teammate open the file I've just saved in he or she computer a prompt for missing links is shown. Once the missing images are re-linked he or she can work normally and if they close the file it won't prompt a missing links message the next time he or she open the file. But if another teammate open the file from his or her computer the message shows again.
It is as if Illustrator save the paths relatively to each computer rather than to the network drive where the links sit. This behavior is really annoying since it make collaborative work a pain.
Do anyone know a fix or at least a workaround for this? (embedding images instead of linking them is not a solution since we work with large files on huge projects).

Well is not real time collaboration. It is more like you say, separate people sometimes end up working on the same files. This workflow is great and works flawlessly. The real problem are the linked assets (either images or others AI files placed inside a document). Each time a team member opens a file he or she need to re-link everything and it keeps correctly linked as long as he/she that saves changes to the file. The next person who open that file will need to re-link assets again.
It is as is Illustrator were unable to remember the path of links in shared drives but only in local ones.
It is not a deal breaker but certainly is quite annoying.

Blackberry Link will not Mount Z10 Drives

I have connecteced my Z10 to Blackberry Link. Each time I get the same Connection error message. Connection Error. "There was a problem accessing the drive in this device. Disconnect and reconnect your device, and try again."
No matter how many times I reconnect the same error occurs It has always worked before and I am not sure what it gong on now......Link will not mount my z10 drive and I think that is were the problem lies....even though I get this error I can still back up my z10 and also I can still sync with outlook.... I am complete lost in why link will not mount my z10 to show the drive. I have windows 8.1 installed

After fighting with this or over a week i have reformatted my laptop and reloaded the software on my z10 and bb link will still not mount my device drives.....after getting very frustrated and searching the world wide web i found this article...http://www.patchworkoftips.com/fix-usb-storage-mounting-bb-z10/2380/ It tells me to disable the wifi on my z10....first i thought strange becuase i never had to do it before but i am desperate .......wow bb link was finally able to mount my z10 drives and make them usable on my laptop.....what a odd issue but it is finally resolved....in order to get bb link to see the z10 drives and mount them i have to turn off my wifi connection on my z10

I need to load a link to work's H drive but it keeps tellimg me it's not trusted. How do I tell M/F it is trusted?

You should see a link at the bottom of that error page with a label "Add Exception"

Photoshop needs to use your hard drive for scratch space.
If you have more than one hard drive (not partition), you can assign photoshop's scratch disk to another hard drive.

Link to fold on shared drive from PDF

Hi all,
I have a PDF document that I would like a text box to link (open a shared drive)to a shard folder drive. I have tried the file:/// (path) but it does not work.
I basically want a visual box a user clicks to go to the specific folder on the drive as the address name is very long.

The PDF language allows for any type of URI that you wish to supply, which may point to a file, folder or any other object.
However, do to security concerns, a conforming PDF viewer (such as Adobe Acrobat or Reader) may choose not to implement all possible URI schemes. in this particular case, Acrobat/Reader do not support a "folder" scheme.

Link to file on Shared Drive

In one of my report output, I need to include a link(url) to file on Shared Drive. The path is stored in database and it will be retrieved in query. The file can be either PDF/WORD/Excel for now.
For ex. e:\\abc\share\test.xls should appear as url in report and when user clicks the url, it should open the test.xls file.
Could some body help me how to do this?

I have the same scenario..
One of the columns in the xml file has a path on the shared drive..
like...
S:\MANAGERS\xxxx.doc
when the user clicks on the hyperlink the documnet doesn't open and is giving an error as
cannot find file:///u01/oracle/product/10.1.3/dmidr3/j2ee/home/S:\MANAGERS\xxxx%20.doc make sure the path or internet address is correct.
As you can see the report is adding the path ///u01/oracle/product/10.1.3/dmidr3/j2ee/home/ before the actual path that appears in the report.

Problem in finding the link location of a particular address

hello,
i am developing a travelling salesman problem project using oracle 10g utilities and the APRESS book's data.
shortly, in the system, the user enters the address info and the application records each address info (when user enters it) to use it in the future to find the shortest path.
however, there is a problem like this: in the NET_LINKS_SF table, there are many link_name column values which have the same values but have different link_id values.(it shows that one street may consist of more than one link.) thus, while determining the link_id of a particular address (which was entered by the user and will be used in the determination of the shortest path (such as start_node_id, end_node_id)), i am not able to use the other tables in the datasource because every table containing a column whose value is the same as net_links_sf.link_name value only refers to the first link_id of a particular link_name. in other words, i am not able to reach the second, third or fourth link of a particular link from the other tables. in order to achieve it, i need the link_id value of the link. however, of course, the end user who will use the system cannot know the link_id values of the addresses.
shortly, i need to reach the link_id values of the addresses using address information of the addresses. however, in the data of the APRESS book, the other tables dont allow me to implement it. how can i realize my idea?
if you want, i can write here all the decriptions of the tables.
note: while getting the system worked, i am using the start_node_id and end_node_id values to determine the nodes to be visited by the salesman. if you recommend me to realize it using another technique, i also ask you to write your proposal.

How to configure/send http links to files on a drive?

We recently switched over to a Mac-based file server for our small business from a Windows server after a hardware failure. Previously we were able to send HTTP links (I believe using FTP?) to clients that linked directly to video files on one of the drives within the server, which would play back in a browser window or could be downloaded by saving the link. I'm now trying to figure out how to add this functionality to the new server. I'm not an IT guy so this is all kind of Italian to me. All I'm looking for is someone to point me in the right direction.
What I do know is that the old links were formatted as such:
zcg911.us/_clients/cintas/example.mov
There was a drive attached to the server we labeled "htdocs" which contained the "_clients" folder, and was being linked to. Basically I just want to replicate this functionality so we can resume sending out links to our clients in this way.
Is this something I can do with the OS X Server app? Or do I need third-party software to accomplish this? Any help would be hugely appreciated.

For http links to work in this case you need a web server which can access those files and then 'serve' them via http. Such a URL would look something like
http://mywebsever.domain.com/_clients/cintas/example.mov
The web server could be the file server and this would make things easier but it could be logged in to the file server as a client itself.
If you simply add a folder or folders to the web server so it can share these to clients, you need to make sure no other files are in the same folders that you do not want to make available to other people. Either this means ensuring only the files you want are in those folders, or instead of sharing the folders themselves, you could make aliases, aka. 'shortcuts', aka. 'links' to the individual files and putting those aliases in the website folder.
