Linking old skype account to Microsoft account..

I have been using normal Skype account for years without a problem until I was forced to login using a microsoft account. Now I have microsoft account and it is set-up in Skype. As I could not login to Skype using old Skype account, I downloaded the Skype for Windows desktop. I can login to Skype Windows desktop using ether accounts.Now,,, how can I merge these two Skype accounts?.It does not give an option for me to do so.

Impossible to find details of old skype account

I just received an email from a [e-mail removed for privacy and security] about a skype account where the credit balance will be made inactive if I don't use it soon. However, if I try to log into skype using that MS account, it tells me there is no skype account in that name.
I have tried resetting the account password but the skype recovery does not recognise the email either.
One part of the system know about this old skype account but the rest of it doesn't.

Make sure you are signed into iMessage and FaceTime with your current ID. If they are signed into the old ID, go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and Settings>FaceTime, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with your current ID.
Then temporarily recreate the old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. (You should not have to verify the old email account so it doesn’t matter if you no longer have access to it.) Now go to Settings>iCloud, turn off Find My iPhone and enter your current password when prompted (even though it prompts you for the password for your old ID). Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Sign Out and choose Delete from My iPhone when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign back in with your current iCloud ID and password.

Old Skype account not accepting Windows Live Passw...

Hey guys,
I created my Skype account about 6 years ago with the email address which I'm still using today. Well, I bought a laptop with Windows 8.1, which asked me to create a Windows Live account, so I did. I also used the same email address for this. Somehow, my Skype account is now linked with this Windows Live account.
So, here's the problem I'm facing. I want to update my contact detail (adding phone number, adding a new primary email address). So, I open my browser, enter Skype.com, choose to login with my Windows Live account, and all is good up to this point. Upon updating my contact detail, it asks to type in my password to be "extra safe". The problem is, it is not recognizing my Windows Live password! I know for a fact what my password is because I use it everyday when I turn on my laptop. Also, I am able to log into my skype account with my Windows Live just fine, although I did not have to type anything in manually. Skype somehow automatically logs me in after clicking on "Sign in with my Windows Live" button. And, when I try to log into Skype manually with my email address, it's not recognizing my password there neither. Where is the disconnect?
What password is Skype asking me for when I am trying to update my profile?

This is happening to me too. Looks like the old skype password is not overwritten by the new Windows Live password.

When skype asked me to change my pasword, it said that I have now 7 skype accounts. I made them on older computers. I only need one of them, and want to delete all the old ones, so that if people are trying to find me, they only see my current account.How do I proceed? thanks

We have been using Skype at my company for some time now. Each employee has a personal Skype account they created. I created a Skype Manager account yesterday and am wondering if I can import their existing Skype accounts to merge them with the corporate account I created. Or, do I have to create new account for everyone? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

All Apple services use your Apple ID, so just sign into the service using the new ID you wish to use.
You will not, however, be able to transfer items purchased from the iTunes Store from an old Apple ID to a new one, nor will there be any way to change an existing iCloud account to a new one so that any documents or backups stored there will transfer over. Nor any way to change an existing iTunes Match account to a new Apple ID that I am aware of.

I've been trying to change the password/e-mail of my skype account but this proofs to be impossible.
Beyond that, I can't even seem to make a topic about this on the forum, because I have to activate my email-address which has been BLOCKED by windows for years.
I was wondering what kind of service you could provide to help me reset my email to my new email address, since it's impossible for me to get on that e-mail.
I won't be putting any private details of my account on this, so for further information please send me a private message.

Deleting old skype accounts

Hi I have a huge dilemma. My dad has had me create various skype accounts for him over time and now he wants to delete all but the one he remembers the password to. He wants me to figure out how to do this for him but when I go on the solutions forum it mentions logging into the account with your known password and deleting the account from the inside which defeats the whole purpose here. How do we just delete the account from the outside- like right click delete or someone we can email? He just needs one account. Please help!!!

Your dad could (or you could, if he provides his password to you) sign in to the Skype website and request all of the other accounts be removed. Skype does not provide a single-click "delete my account" facility as you describe; the accountholder must file the request with Skype Customer Service.
Skype does not use a central or general e-mailbox; instead, we use the web-form as also explained here: 'Can I delete my Skype account?'

Linking between Skype login and microsoft login - ...

I've created a skype login, then tried to link to my microsoft account, but cant find any command to do that. In desperation I tried logging out of my sskype account and then loggining back in using my microsoft account, and now I seem to have to totally unrelated accounts.
What have I done wrong? and how do I link ?

I probably shouldn't reply, as I'm only taking a stab at this and it's a guess.
But I recently bought a new Windows 8.1 computer, so I had to quickly become familiar with the whole outlook/skype thing. I think upon first registering with Skype, if you don't do it with your Outlook Adress, then they are now separate accounts that cannot be linked. Like, I decided to make a new Skype account with this computer, and in the beginning had the option of using my Microsoft account to make that Skype account. Had I chose a different email address, then they would not be linked.
You'll probably have to use your outlook address to make a NEW Skype ID if you want them to be linked.

Problems about linking the skype and the microsoft

My skype account cannot link to the microsoft account(Before this, I already unlinked the original skype and microsoft) . When I logon the skype with my microsoft account, I found that there is an another skype account and this account is useless for me. Now I just want to delete the useless skype account of the microsoft and then link the original skype to the microsoft. What do I do to relink those accounts?

The sequence you should be using is:
1) start the listener, which will monitor the network for database requests
lsnrctl start
2) start and open the database, which will also register back to the listener. Could be done by a properly configured OEM DBConsole, or command line
sqlplus / as sysdba
startup
exit
3) If database started before listener, then you could register the database manually
sqlplus / as sysdba
alter system register;
exit
4) Verify that the listener knows about the database and will handle requests for the database
lsnrctl status
and check the output whether the database service is recognized.

Link old iTunes accounts

Just replaced my iMac. Songs that I purchased long ago in iTunes with an old AOL screen name are being deemed as unauthorized on my new computer. When I attempt to log on with the old screen name, it says I have to update my account and then gives me an error message. Is there a way to link my current iTnues account with the old AOL screen name so the songs will all play again?
