My customer has an issue, and error message as below:
<PRE>Oracle error 1403: java.sql.SQLException: ORA-01403: no data found ORA-06512:

And customer’s statement is: Upgrade from EBS 11.5.10 to 12.1.3. Login the EBS, open any forms and put it in idle. Then refresh the form, error happens
Then, I checked ISP, and found two notes:

Re Link Oracle 9.0.1 on SUSE 7.1
Hi,
I've a problem relinking the oracle 9.0.1 binaries on LINUX SUSE 7.1
Installation was so far successful (thanx heaven) with exception of the link step(s) (of course, I can not start an instance at all => ORA-24314).
Trying "make -f ins_rdbms.mk ioracle" results in a fatal error: something link "don't know how to make target libskgxpd.a / libkulopt.a".
These .a lib's are not present at $ORACLE_HOME/... , but I found libskgxpd.so and libkulopt.so.
What is the correct statement to link oracle ?
Thanks in advance
Heikoplease ignore this thread - I have opened a newer open above. Sorry.

AutoConfig is exiting with status 1 And ORACLE error 6502 in afpodbinit
Hi Experts,
Excuse me for trying to brief the Issue in such manner which may not be apt. or appear stupid to many Experts. But I am newbie to Oracle Apps !
After registering the EBS R12.1 Vision, DB version 11.2.0.3.0 with OID 11.1.1.6 successfully with $FND_TOP/bin/txkrun.pl Before that Registered EBS Instance with OID
as part of Integrating EBS R12 with OAM-OID 11g according to (ID :1309013.1)
Once i updated these profile options i.e "Applications SSO Type" profile option to “SSWA w/SSO” and“Applications SSO Login Types” profile option to BOTH , AND
Applications SSO Auto Link User profile option to “Enabled” And “Applications SSO Enable OID Identity Add Event” profile option to “Enabled”.
And than it requyire the EBS tier to be restarted Once i restarted it Than the following Issues Occured.
1. As i specified the provisiontype value to 1 which means that the user that's got created in OID should be populated in fnd_user table in EBS But this is not happening
as the User that i 've created with the ODSM is not propagated to fnd_user table when i verified it with the following query
select USER_NAME, CREATION_DATE from fnd_user where creation_date > (SYSDATE - 1);
The Output : no rows selected
2. The EBS Login page become inaccessible that is the Login Page goes blank
3. opmn managed are running fine But when i checked the status of adcmctl got the following error,

Thanks for the suggested Docs
I 've gone through the Docs that you 've suggested And based on that made a Comprehensive analysis of the Issues and comes up with these findings even though still short of the resolution
Kindly see the following and suggest.

Also when i query the home_url from icx_sessions The home_url column of the table are BLANK. even though it's there in the context file which is verified by this output.

Therefore i quried to check the whether the related Tablespace are full. It is not FULL also there is no Issue of space TEMP tablespace either,

I want to create a table which should have below columns and values :
ORA Varchar2(20)
Cause Varchar2(100)

Hello Sir,
Can you please confirm that a good oracle installation in windows have oraus.msg ? After searching on different links, i found that oraus.msg is for *nix OS, oracle provides oraus.msb for windows. Kindly confirm my understanding.
I need this table because our application team has asked our DBA team to provide them a complete oracle error code, causes and action column, so that they can use in their daily purpose. They are designing a utility in which user will simply input oracle error number and output will be fetched by this table (in case there is no internet connectivity and DBA is on the leave). So that they can talk DBAs over phone that we are getting such and such error and this is cause and action from your table.
Please help me in this regard.
Thanks and Regards,They are re-inventing the wheel. Oracle has already provided that utility. It's call 'oerr' and is fully documented and supported. Do they also want to re-write sqllpus? expdp/impdp? sqlloader? How about the dbms_* utilities? -

what should iWell first of all you should stop using EXP for backups, it's quite unsuitable, and start using RMAN instead. Find out more.
If you have a Metalink account you shoudl read Note:298968.1. But teh headline is there is a bug in 10gR1 which is fixed in 10gR2. This may not help you much. The workaround is to try running the export again later, which may not be any more helpful.

I have seen name being given to standard Oracle error codes in large production application.
As long as it is well documented and managed, I believe it is ok.

regards,Dear All,
Thanks to all for your valuable advice.
I checked my file system was running out of space due to that Import was triggering a fatal error and connection was getting disconnected.
I checked in numerous link for this error and couldn't find the exact solution for the error.
the solution wahich posted by "Delude Psycho" is worked, but when you have triggered with ora603 error due to some other reason apart from file sytem running out of space.
I found the same solution some where and immediate checked my file system and found it was running out of psace. So, imeediately I realsed the space and now my import is going fine.
Thanks,

When configuring a datasource for Oracle using the thin client, I get an Oracle error.
We have had no problems using Oracle up to this point, and have been using ColdFusion and Oracle very happily for a long time.
Due to security requirements where the ColdFusion server is hosted, the following changes were made to the Oracle client on the Oracle RDMS machine which caused ColdFusion to be unable to connect.
In the sqlnet.ora file, we had to add the follwing line:
SQLNET.ALLOWED_LOGON_VERSION = 10
That parameter was required, it is not optional and we cannot lower it.
Info about our ColdFusion Server:
System Information

OS Version

/D:/ColdFusion10/cfusion/lib/updates/chf10000011.jar
Adobe Driver Version
4.1 (Build 0001)
We are using Oracle 11.2.0.3
Once that change is in place, connections from our ColdFusion server get refused with the following error:
ORA-28040: No matching authentication protocol
I have verified that I can connect to the database with our credentials, and verified that the connection is valid:
From the local server's ODBC Data Source Administrator console, I create a system DSN using the Oracle OCI client driver (ojdbc6.jar) by indicating that the TNS Service name is the same as defined in the TNSNames file, and it tests out fine.
Everything I have found on the net indicates that I would need to make a change to the Client, but the Client in this case is the ColdFusion server. It doesn't seem like other than the fact that it seems to be using the correct driver, that it is making any use of any of the additional settings, including those found in the sqlnet.ora file.
HELP! I don't know where else to go... i don't believe that this is an Oracle error, since everything seems to be functioning correctly. I believe this to be a ColdFusion issue.
Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.Thank you VJ, however that didn't provide any help. There are no pointers at all within that post.
Please keep in mind that I don't believe this to be an Oracle issue. The Oracle client is functioning fine when I use the ODBC tools in windows to verify the connection.
I can google, "SQLNET.ALLOWED_LOGON_VERSION = 10" and get a billion links that say basically nothing too.
I believe this is the way ColdFusion is configured to use the Oracle drivers... Which is why I can't ask Oracle, they'd just tell me to go to Adobe!
But, I have searched Oracle Support, and there wasn't much there either, so I am turning to the community in hopes that someone has seen this and solved it. -

Hi,
Please send me the link to get the entire list of oracle errors for 10g.
Thanks.The 10gR2 (10.2.0.x) Error Messages manual :

Hi guys,
Is there the list of Oracle errors ? is where ?
spaulonciEach version has an error manual online at http://tahiti.oracle.com
Some products have their own error list.
Information on www.ora-code.com may not be accurate, it is doesn't contain links to Oracle's list, and it doesn't distinguish between versions.

Hi, I have a problem: I am inserting information from a table to many other tables, but if there's an error(for example, duplicate primary key), I have to put this information in a log... I have two questions: the log should be another table(for example with the sysdate and a description of the error)? The other: How can I register the Oracle errors in the log?
ThanksHi,
New in 10g, maybe you are on an earler version?
(Or maybe you just lack execute privilege on dbms_errlog)
In 9i an option could be [FORALL ... SAVE EXCEPTIONS|http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B10501_01/appdev.920/a96624/05_colls.htm#32392], but it's a lot more clumpsy to work with.
If you are looking for a simple logging framework, you can have a look at [log4plsql|http://log4plsql.sourceforge.net/]

Info : Oracle Errors with Desc
Frnds this is the link where u can find all the oracle errors with the cause.
http://ora-code.com/
Hope u all find it beneficial.
~ VishaLNot sure this adds much more to the docs, except Google Ads :P I suppose that once we've got the page up the ability to zip to a message by putting the code in the URL is marginally faster than looking it up in the book...
