Linking to China site when trying to buy credit
My account has been inactive for some time. When I tried to buy credit today in order to start using it again, it linked me through to the Chinese site. I tried to do this several times and each time the same. Help!
You registered your account from China which is why it has been tied to our local partner there. Please create a new Skype account while being outside of China to be able to use the global Skype.com site. Unfortunately we can't unlink your current account.

I Tunes is telling me that my session has timed out when trying to buy a gift voucher, which i have done many times before.
The most recent change i'v made to my computer before this happened was to download an update (MacOSX updatecombo 10.7.3dmg)

Sandystone.Thanks for your suggestion Ned01, I tried this as a last ditch attempt, unfortunatly it made no difference in my case, but i'm pleased it did for you. However, because you reminded me to have another go at this problem, i tried something else (which i'd unsucsessfuly tried before), that is, i deleted the 'CLICK & SAVE " a/c i'd set up recently, and reverted to my previous payment me and would you know it , this time it worked !! I set up a trail purchase and it worked.
It seems to me that other poeple with this problem have to solve it by trail and error, but thank you for your help.Sandystone.. -

Are you running the latest version of iTunes? Check software updates. Does your OSX (which is not listed in your profile) compatiple with the app you are trying to download?

Even assuming that the GB was a typo and should be MB you're still on the hairy edge. -

Hi, I have Mac with Snow Leopard and was trying to purchase Lion , so I can move to I cloud, when trying to buy the app I get a message that a minimum 2gb of memory is required. I went check the hard disck info and it says available memory 20gb :-(
Apple Logo, left hand side of the menu bar, About this Mac. It should be right there. If not then More Info, Sys Info.
But it would seem you don't have 2GBs installed and more then likely both RAM slots are already filed. So you just need to buy more RAM in a pair. That could be 2 1GBs chips or if your Mac can have more then that then 2 2 GB chips or 2 4GB chips.
Get your model # and go to Crucial.com and use their memory search to find out how much your Mac can have installed and the price for it. I suggest you install as much as it can take. Cost is very low on RAM these days. -

turn your ipad off by holding the sleep wake button for 5 seconds and slide to turn off then turn it back on and the apps should be finished and if the apps didnt finish just redownload them

Did you follow the instructions in the message and contact Apple, which you can do through iTunes Store Support. If Apple have asked you to contact them, then the issue can only be resolved by them. -
When trying to buy gems on the "Clash of Clans" game I get the following:
"Unable to Purchase. This item is for an app that was purchased by a different Apple ID. To buy this item with this Apple ID, you must first purchase the App."
I redeemed the itunes voucher on the same Apple ID I want to buy the gems with?
What do I do from here.You will only be able to buy items in an app if you are signed into and use the same account that you originally bought that app with - is that the account that you are signed into ?

Not sure if it's for Windows 7 x64, but the end game is to update your root certificates manually. -

Is the hold switch in the on position? Try resetting the iPod. To do this, press and hold both the Select/Center and menu buttons together long enough for the Apple logo to appear. The iPod may have simply locked up.

Iphoto book will not upload even in safe mode when trying to buy book, any suggestions on how to complete the "BUY BOOK" process?
Make a temporary, backup copy of your library if you don't already have one (Control-click on the library and select Duplicate from the contextual menu) and apply the fix below:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Since only one option can be run at a time start with Option #1, followed by #3 and then #4 as needed.
After each run thru the repair process see if you can create a PDF file of the book as described in this Apple Document: iPhoto '11: Preview a book, card, or calendar before you order or print it. If you can try ordering the book. If you can't finish trying all of the otpions and then boot into Safe mode and try there.
