Links help please
Hi,
When iWeb first came out I created my site. I'm just now updating the site by adding 2 new pages - News and Abbacadabra. On all the original pages, I was able to make the links all white and the mouseover and click were shades of gray. On the two new pages I can make the text white but as soon as I choose 'Enable as hyperlink' the link becomes medium gray and the mouseover is black. I simply can't get it to do anything else.
Maybe this is the same question Robin was asking?
Anyway, I cannot figure out how to make the links on these 2 new pages the same as the originals ones. I want to do this within iWeb as I did before, not use textedit or anything. I'm already going to have to do enough of that shortly.
I've tried retyping, copying and pasting the entire box of links to the 2 new pages, just the linked text, the unlinked text....every combination. I even tried copying the dark links from the 2 new pages to one of the original pages - they remain white on the original pages. The color picker seems disabled or something.
Am I missing something or do I have to redo all the original pages and forget the white text links I have on the original pages. Either I've forgotten something or something has changed...
I apologize if this is a subject that has been discussed to death. I tried to read everything before asking. I'm just in a tight deadline now and need to know if there is any hope of fixing it.

Thank you for the welcome and the quick resonse.
I believe I did start out with the plain white template on all pages so I don't think that is it... I will investigate that further to make sure.
I would love to do what you're suggesting regarding duplicating one of the original pages but I can't figure out how to 'duplicate' the page. I don't see anything in the menu that allows me to make a page as a copy of an existing one. Can you tell me how to do that then?
I did already simply copy the text boxes, etc. from one page to a new one but even that didn't work. Very odd.

would anyone mind please helping me understand why the google doc link URL that i embed in my website keeps going to the main page instead of the document I am trying to link - or alternatively is requiring me to login before I access the document?
I /simply/ want to be able to let someone click on a link and go to a document that I have posted to Google docs and each time I do this one or the other of the above issues comes up.
I even tried to SHARE the document from withing the Google Docs interface and when I click on the two links in the email they both come up as inacessible (problem number 3).

Captivate 5 files not working in Atlantic link, help please

Atlantic link's Content Point version 1.31
I've previously been using Captivate 4 and publishing swf files to be loaded in to Atlantic Link's Content Point. To get the swf files to work in the past have publish set the publishing preferences to using Action Script 2 (AS2) settings. This is not an option in Captivate 5. When I put the swf files in to Content Point and publish the elearning the swf files will not run correctly, different elements appear all over the screen.
Does anyone know of a way to resolve this problem.

Captivate 5 SWF are now AS3 .looks like you have to setup your Content point to AS3 .

Hi all! I was updating the software on i pad to ios6, update was interrupted(apple update server is unavailable...). iTunes Diagnostics shows that "secure link to I tunes store failed". I use Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. Can anybody help please?

Unsatisfied link when callind dll from run method Help Please?

I get an unsatisfied link error while trying to calling a dll at a certain time period in a run method. The same dll works fine called in another setup and even called in a loop.

Tried to upgrade as instructed and after uninstalling and reinstalling (even back to the former iTunes which I was happy with)several times, keep getting message "Procedure entry point could not be located in dynamic link library" followed by "iTunes was not installed properly" "Error 7". Help, please??
Entry point errors can usually be fixed by deleting the offending dll, then repairing the component it is part of from the programs and features control panel. Unfortunately you neglected to include the detail of which dll is mentioned.
For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
The further information area has direct links to the current and recent builds in case you have problems downloading, need to revert to an older version or want to try the iTunes for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) release as a workaround for installation or performance issues, or compatibility with QuickTime or third party software.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there are also links to backup and recovery advice should it be needed.

Help Please - having difficulties creating af link from the text to an attached file i acrobat
I have been reading the help, but it just wonn't work when I try.
I have tried as followed (I am working with a danish version, and hope to matched the same word as in the english version of Acrobat Xpro):
1. From the toolbox i choose content and then 'hyperlink'
2. I mark the text from which i wish to make a link
3. Acrobat respond with an popup picture 'create a link'
4. From the popup I mark 'Open a side' and push 'next'
5. Acrobat respond with a new popup picture 'create / go to a side'
6. I go to the navigator and open the list with attached file's that I have embedded in my acrobat file.
7. I mark the to which i wish to make a link to
8. In the popup 'create / go to a side' that stilll is open, i push 'Mark hyperlink'
Then I hoped that I have created a link from the acrobat text to the attached file. In stead Acrobat has made a link to the same sidenumber that respond to the text from which i wish to make a link . F.ex. the linktext is on side 10 - then the link goes to side 10.
How do i do it right?

This corresponds to the text I have tried myself, but apparently I do something wrong
1. Open a PDF that contains a PDF file attachment – done
2. Go to where you want to create a link. If that location is in the file attachment, click the Attachments button in the navigation pane, select the file attachment, and click open.
Here I go to side number 10 from which I wish to make a link from (I am not open the attachment file at this moment, as the location not is inside the file attachment).
(I earlier also tried to mark the attachment file and click open, and It result that the attached file just opened normally without creating a link to the file).
3. Choose Tools > Content > link, and select the area for the link
Here I mark the text on side 10 from which I wish to make a link to a attached file
4. In the Create Link dialog box, set the link appearance, select Go To A Page View, and then click Next
Here I have selected ‘Go to a page view’ as told and I click Next
5. Set the page number and view magnification you want, either in the parent PDF document or in the file attachment, and then click set link.
Here I go to the navigation pane and mark the attached file from the file list (the files in the list hasn’t any side number in the list) and then I click Set Link.
Then I hoped that I have created a link from the acrobat text to the attached file. In stead Acrobat has made a link to the same sidenumber that respond to the text from which i wish to make a link . F.ex. the linktext is on side 10 - then the link goes to side 10.
What do I do wrong.?

Quiting iTunes first if it's running
Connecting your external harddrive to your Mac, use the Finder to browse to it
Find your iTunes folder on the ext HDD and double-click on iTunes Library.itl

You select the desired file (tick the square box on the left of the file name).
You click on the "share"/"send" icon (the envelope with the arrow that points up and to the right).
You are presented with the share/send dialog.
Here you select the "Send To" choice.
This is done by placing a tick in the box beside either "Public Link (create a public link for anyone to view)"
OR
"Personalizdd Link (send email invitations to individuals)"
NOTE: The second choice is only available if you have a subscription to Adobe Send service.
So, for a free "Files" account in Adobe's cloud you'd tick "Public Link".
At the bottom left you'll observe the "Create Link" button.
Click it.
You are presented with a new dialog that informs you that the Public Link has been generated and that link is provided in a field within the dialog.
You can copy the link to a text file for future copy-paste into a post to a forum or bulletin board or you can provide the link to otheres via an email.

You are checking your rescue email account - an alternate/secondary email address is a different setting/address on an iTunes account. If it's not in the spam nor inbox then you could try requesting it again, or contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

Approx 8 years ago I purchased Photoshop CS2 online from Adobe. This past weekend I had to buy a new computer (Windows 8.1), and when I logged into my Adobe account just now to obtain my serial number and enter it after I attempted to download CS2, it said invalid serial number. Help please.

My ipad just won't let me sign in with my apple password on FaceTime or iMessage since updating to ios7 it says check my network connection, even though my iPhone works fine with the same password, can anybody help please, I have tried numerous things but nothing works. Will I have to wait for a bug fix to sort this? I hear they are working on one a the minute, I hate ios7
Try a Restart.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Resetting your settings
You can also try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your device settings again.... All of the settings in the settings app will have to be re-entered. You won't lose any data, but it takes time to enter all of the settings again.
Resetting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Apple recommends this only if you are unable to restart it.
Or if this doesn't work and nobody else on the blog doesn't have a better idea you can contact Apple.
