Links in menu

Just moved over from IE.
On 10.0.2 on W7
One feature I found useful in IE, was that I could enable a 'favotites bar' which mean the most frequently used links were 'nailed up' at top of browser.
Can't seem to get that in Firefox 10
I can enable 'Most Visited' but these are not nailed up and keep changing.

You can also open bookmarks in the sidebar: View > Sidebar
*Press F10 or tap the Alt key to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily if the Menu Bar is hidden.

How to open reports in same portlet when clicked on item report links in menu portlet

Hi,
I am not sure what forum I should ask this question. Anyway, I am trying in the content areas forum.
Let me explain what I trying to do.
I have reports links as menu item links in a menu. I have published this menu to portal and added it to a page. I can now see the report links. If I now click on the report link, it opens the report in a whole window. How do I open the report in the same portlet or if this is not possible, how do I open this in a different portlet on the same page ?

Is it possible to change "link" context menu items' order (I want "open in new window.." be the first) ?

I made an upgrade FF from v3.6.xx to v17.0.x and found that "Link" context menu items' order is not the same.
v3.6 menu looks as following: 1."Open Link in new Window", 2."Open Link in new Tab",
v17.0 menu items' order is opposit 1."Open Link in new Tab",2."Open Link in new Window",
All other items' position are uninteresting for me.
How to swap this two upper items in "link" context menu?

While uploading only that page from Muse to your host, use the "Host Directory" option to upload it to a different folder. You can choose to upload selective page by disabling/enabling "export page" option for the pages from plan view in Muse, as shown in this screenshot: http://screencast.com/t/vpuIEjtVdZRS
To link selective pages to the menu, use "Manual" menus. This will allow you to link any page to the menu, even an external page. You can change the menu type from here: http://screencast.com/t/Ej8x2KrJ

How to link one menu to another.

Hey guys,
I am creating a user input form for car types and car parts. I want to link one menu to another. I.e. the first menu will be make with a list of car makes, and if the user chooses "Ford" then the next menu will load items from a table "Ford" with the Ford models in it. I have the tables created in a database, one tabel is make with 50 different makes, and then i have 50 other tables for each make with the model types in it.

What you are looking for is a dependent drop-down menu. To get the values for the second menu, you need to send another request to the server, either by submitting the form again, or by using an Ajax request to populate the dependent drop-down. I don't know of any online tutorials for doing this, but you should be able to find something by doing a Google search. I know that "jQuery in Action, Second Edition" by Bear Bibeault and Yehuda Katz (published by Manning) describes in considerable detail how to do this.

Cannot find any of the links under menu

Hi guys,
I made a installation of PT8.51 on Oracle11gR2 on Win2k8R2 64-bit.All scripts ran successfully.Everything went fine.Iam using 2 machines i.e. one as an application server and other as an database server.I configured the application server and booted it.I configured the PIA and i logged into it but to my surprise i cannot find any of the links or anything under the menu.Why is it.Do i have to run any scripts to grant the user PS some permission to access the menu or what??Pls help me.Do i have to make any further configuration on any of the servers?

Thank you for your reply.No nic i have not managed for an upgrade.Is there any other way to check that i have got everything in my PIA.I doubt it may be something like the PS user is not granted the security to access any of the links.PLs advise what to do?

Links in menu not going anywhere

On this page http://www.pureoceansalt.com/index6.html the menu links do not go anywhere - I know the pages are live. And I have moved around the js files to see if that is the problem. I assuming it still is but cant seem to get it fixed

Where can I find a link (in which table(s)) between the queries and the menu (pfcg) ?
Is there something better than AGR_BUFFI ? I need only the technical name of the quey and not the entire URL ...

Having issues linking spry menu bar to my other pages

Hey everyone,
I am brand new to web development. I am currently using the trial of DW and I must say I love it. I am having issues with my spry menu bar though. I will click on a certain box in the menu bar and use the properties page at the bottom and insert a link to another one of my webpages that I have created. However when I test my webpage, it will not be linked to it. Instead it is linked to #, or my index page. Now my domain name is: thecampuscocktail.com. I have created two other pages "feedback.html" and "speedydrinks.html" and even when I enter those manually into my browser (i.e. "thecampuscocktail.com/feedback.html") it gives me a page not found error. So I may be doing something incorrectly with uploading my pages however I have used the "put" option with all of them and I have used the "sync site wide" option. I am also using a template though that shouldn't affect it. Being brand new I know very, very little about coding. But here is the code to my template:

I suggest looking at exsample code. In LabVIEW 6.1 you can go to help >> find examples >> building user interfaces >> menus and toolbars >> menu selection demo.vi. In LabVIEW 6i, goto help >> examples >> advanced >> customizing controls and VIs >> custom menubar examples >> menu selection(this is the VI).
In the examples, the output of the VIs is usually sent to a case selector of a case structure. The code to be executed is in the appropriate case.

Unable to create multiple link pulldown menu

Hi, I'm trying to create an animated pulldown menu. It works
when I TEST MOVIE, but when I put it in my Flash web page, the
getURL code link does not work.
Also, in the TEST MOVIE, it only works for one link on the
pulldown at a time. As soon as I add another link on the pulldown,
it cancels out the previous one.
My code is attached (graciously contributed by another
forum-ite): I have a WOMEN button at the top that changes color on
rollover and produces the pulldown with several choices. One of the
choices is "What's New" and is a movie clip and instance. I have
this file separate from my index file, called to in the last frame
of my actions menu using loadMovieNum. The site is

           You can create multiple target systems only for different business system groups.If all the business systems like R3_QA1,R3_QA2, R3_QA3 belong to the same business group "QA_BUS_GROUP" , then you can have only one among the three system as target.
           So R3_DEV can have only one system as target either R3_QA1 Or R3_QA2 or R3_QA3 since they belong to the same business group "QA_BUS_GROUP".
            If there are three different business system groups then you can have 3 target systems that correspond to their respective business system groups ,in this case source business system can be assigned to the 3 target systems that belong to different business system groups .
           Since that is not the case with your scenario, you cannot create multiple target systems.

ADF Tree Command Link + Content Menu

Hi,
I am trying to build a tree, in which the nodes should have a command link and a context menu enabled. Using JDeveloper 11.1.1.6.0, however the context menu is not showing up, if the command link is enable for a particular node. If the command link option is not set for a node, then the menu option does shows up. Below is what my code looks like. Has anyone faced a similar issue/know of a solution?

Hi Timo,
Yeah... adding an output text, shows the context menu on the text, however I was looking for something like one 'text' rendered and it doing the option of both.
Something like what we can do for any hyper link, if click on it, it opens that link or else if I right click on the link, it gives me options like - Open in new Tab/Window etc.
Any suggestions??

Separate page in Adobe Muse, not linked to Menu

I want to create a Sitemap page in Adobe Muse which i do not want to link to navigation menu. I tried adding main or child page, but it automatically links to navigation menu.

In plan mode , left click on the page will give you the Menu options.

No response/action from apps when chooosing links or menu functions

After a few days of use, I find that trying to select links in web pages goes away. I also can't make menu selections in many apps. The only solution is to restart the computer and everything is fine again for several days, then the cycle repeats itself.

Create a new admin user account, log into it, and see if the problem persists. If not, report back. If so, download and reinstall the 10.5.4 COMBO update from http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/apple/macosx_updates/ repair permissions, and restart.

Desktop software links and menu does not work

Hi,
i have a blackberry bold 9000 and installed the latest desktop software 4.6 from the blackberry website.
my device manager says connected. but if i start desktop manager, i don't see the main header menu (there is just nothing, where the text menu should be) and the icons in the main window does not work as links. there is no connection to anything.
i have uninstalled all blackberry software and installed it new. i have installed several runtime environments manually, including java and c++. but that makes no difference at all.
what could be the problem? what runtime is necessary and should working correctly for blackberry desktop manager software? do i need some tweaks in internet explorer security settings (active scripting or something like that) ?
