Links in received email

Help – In my received mails any links in the text are coloured blue and underscored. How on earth do I change the colour in my preferences to select a new colour? And also does anyone know if I can remove the underscoring altogether?

Sorry, but you can't do what you're asking. Incoming mail cannot be edited in any way, and URLs are colored blue and underlined for a reason: it's the default color for all browsers to display an active link. In addition, it's a color that is known to be safely viewable for nearly everyone, including those with some level of color blindness, since very, very few are color blind to blue.

Cannot Click on Links from Received Email

My mother-in-law sent me a few forwards with links (ironically, about how poor Leopard is with security and a few other Leopard issues). I installed, unfortunately, Leopard and since then, have not been able to click on links that are in email I received. It worked before with the Tiger version of Mail. Help anyone??

I recently installed Leopard and then upgraded to 10.5.1 - message reads Safari cannot be used on this system. The Safari is still version 2.0.4 despite this upgrade.
Consequently I am having to use Firefox.
As the default for opening hyperlinks in Mail is Safari - anyone have a solution?

Why do the links that I'm receiving in emails not come through as actual links.... they are just the long line of "stuff" that cannot be copied or pasted into an outgoing email or search for website.

In my Verizon email - HTML links are not live in my emails. I constantly have to cut and paste the URL into a new browser window to open them. I was told to change the Settings to Basic. The default was Basic and it did not work. So I changed it to RICH, this did not work either. Then I changed it back to BASIC and again, it still didn't work
Any idea what the problem could be?

When I get an email from someone that has included a link, the link doesn't work.
Example.....
When a friend sends me their address, and they have made their address a hyper link, the link is spelled out in detail to the side.
Does that make any sense to anyone out there? It's kind of difficult to explain, sorry.

Go to adobe.com. If you're not already logged in with your adobe id, log in. Under your name you should see a small button that says "manage account." Click it. Next select "Plans & Products." Under the Plans section, click "Manage Plan." On the new page, on the right is a "Billing History" section (it may take a second or to two to load to invoice info). Click the small print icon all the way to the right. You'll get a PDF form that you can download or print. Good luck.

Hi Experts,
We have a requirement to convert PO to PDF and send it as an e-mail attachment which is possible .
But the requirement is to add digital signature to the PO and send it as E-mail attachment.
Also once vendor confirms and signs the same document and scans it and send it through e-mail as attachment. This document should be stored in Sap and linked to PO.
I am working on ECC 6.0.
Any pointers to receive an email attachment, store in SAP & link to PO would be great.

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).

Direct links to the rewards from received email?

I mean the following:
- someone is asking a question
- 3 people will post answers, so the person with the question will get 3 emails (if it is turned on)
Mostly it is not neccessary to check the thread, because all information is in the email, and the reward is forgotten.
If it is possible, you can insert 3 links into the received email, and these links are pointing directly to the 2, 6, 10 reward points.
Not so important, just if you have very much free time

That unfortunately would require our "point system" to be a bit more "open" than we want/like, what we could do maybe is shorten the amount of text and force people to go to the website - but I think that puts to much emphasis on the points and not enough on the content.

You select the desired file (tick the square box on the left of the file name).
You click on the "share"/"send" icon (the envelope with the arrow that points up and to the right).
You are presented with the share/send dialog.
Here you select the "Send To" choice.
This is done by placing a tick in the box beside either "Public Link (create a public link for anyone to view)"
OR
"Personalizdd Link (send email invitations to individuals)"
NOTE: The second choice is only available if you have a subscription to Adobe Send service.
So, for a free "Files" account in Adobe's cloud you'd tick "Public Link".
At the bottom left you'll observe the "Create Link" button.
Click it.
You are presented with a new dialog that informs you that the Public Link has been generated and that link is provided in a field within the dialog.
You can copy the link to a text file for future copy-paste into a post to a forum or bulletin board or you can provide the link to otheres via an email.

I am experiencing the same problem as jhemils. Mine is a hotmail account and I have gone through every possible scenario presented by the link you provided. I have checked spam filters and spellings and everything checks out on my end. As far as I can tell, something seems to be wrong on the Apple side of things. Could you please look into this and see what's up?

If you have a rescue email address on that account then you've checked the inbox and spam folder on that email account as well (and you can't get the password reset by answering your security questions on http://iforgot.apple.com) ? If you still can't find then try contacting Support in your country, they should be able to reset the password for you.
