Links not generated because of an access control violation

Filr 1.1.0.653-HP668
Our users can't share files by generating links in some netfolders. In some net folders it works ...
All net folders are located at the same file server. The users does have the same rights to the file server in eDir.
Errormessage looks like: "The links for 'xxx.pdf' could not be generated because of an access control violation."
I checked the configuration of that net folders and compared to the net folders where the users can create that links in Filr - nothing
I double checked the rights of that net folders and compared to the net folders where the users can create that links in eDir - nothing
I removed and reassigned the right "File Link" to "Users", "Net Folders" and "Share Settings" without success.
Can someone point me in the right direction? Is it possible that this is somehow related to creation time of the net folders (we had net folders in Filr before the feature to share links was included, and we have net folders which have been created after this feature exists)

Database Links not generated

In OWB 9i, the database links are not generated as part of the mapping anymore. My problem is that I create a new source module and then a mapping using this source module, but it does not generate the code for the database link. When I deploy the mapping it says the database link does not exist, but it does not provide the code for generating the links. Am I missing something? I would appreciate a fast response, since I'm currently giving the OWB course and have to show the students the new 9i features tomorrow (Thursday 15 Aug)! Thanks!!

Hi Marlene,
You can get the database link DDL when you generate the Warehouse Module as a whole, open the Warehouse module editor and highlight the Warehouse module, right click and generate. In the generation results filter on DB links and review the scripts, deploy these in the schema where you want to install the mappings.
To create new db links, go to configuration on the warehouse module where you need to links, in there choose the last entry (database links). This also allows you to delete the ones you don't need.

The provide webservice link is not generating corresponding WSDL URL based on Service Operation.
E.g. Currently we have two service operations namely Create and Update. We are using Rowset based messaging. Provide Webservice link generated correct WSDL URL for the create operation but it is providing the same URL for Update operation as well. kindly share your knowledge if you guys ever faced similar problem.

Thanks for your reply. Actually i am trying to generate WSDL URLs for each service operation for Travel & Expense module like create expense, update expense etc.
URL generated looks like this : http://xxx.xx.xxx.xx:8011/PSIGW/PeopleSoftServiceListeningConnector/HX_TE_EXPENSE_CLAIM.16.wsdl - this url is meant for CREATE operation. But for the UPDATE operation i am getting the same URL . Normally, Whenever i create WSDL URL for different operation the numeric part of the above URL changes like 16, 17 etc ..based on the service operation but no two operation have same URL like i am getting now. Please provide your knowledge on this issue.

Accounting document not generated because of different profit centres

In my current project billing is done by clubbing more than one sales orders
The problem we face is that if two sales order have different business areas or different profit centers accounting document is not generated
May be this is standard behavior of system
But my client prepares bill in this manner as a part of business process
Kindly suggest any setting or method to change the system behavior so that accounting document can be generated

Coult not open key:
HkeyLOCALMACHINES\software\classes\QuicktimePlayerLib.QuicktimePlayerApp\CLSID. Verify that you have sufficient access to that key, or contact your support personnel.
I ran regedit and found that this Hkey does not exist in the registry.
I just bought this Nano. Why won't Apple help me with the install. At this point I feel like taking this piece of junk back to the store and buying a piece of hardware that is not dependent on a piece of software that cannot even be installed.

Try the following steps:
1. Go to Microsoft website to fix install and Unistall problems. Click "Run now" from Fix it to remove all iTunes & related installer files:

My Site Links Not Working When Using Alternate Access Mapping

I have a SharePoint Site Collection under my main
Web Application: mywebapp:80.
I had to extend this to an Intranet zone
Web Application: mywebapp:101.
I am able to open my Site Collection from either address. The authentication protocols for both are the same.
When provisioning the User Profile Service and configuring
My Site, the
My Site Host Location must be supplied, in this case: http://mywebapp:80/personal/mysite
I housed my My Site Host under the same Web Application as my
Site Collection.
When accessing My Site for any given user from mywebapp:80, all the links of user photos point to that same
Web Application, which is expected.
i.e. When on http://mywebapp:80/personal/mysite/person.aspx?accountname=person1 , all the links of photos of other users are http://mywebapp:80/personal/mysite/person.aspx?accountname=person2,
etc.
When accessing My Site for any given user from my extension, mywebapp:101, all the links of user photos still point to the old address.
i.e. When on http://mywebapp:101/personal/mysite/person.aspx?accountname=person1 , all the links of photos of other users are still on http://mywebapp:80/personal/mysite/person.aspx?accountname=person2,
etc.
So I figured that the My Site Host configuration under the
User Profile Service will just literally follow the initial URL specified. That said, I ask:
1.) Is there no way that the My Site links will be able to adjust depending on the URL I am accessing it from?
2.) What are possible implementation alternatives for cases like this when I need to use
My Site under 1
Web Application and have to make it available on
multiple host names?

perhaps you can give us more details about the scenario?
as i know,
mysite able to adjust, but you may need to configure the the host of the mysite, for example:
1. to the User Profile Service Application (UPA) and changed the MySite URL, few sites show the new URL and few show the old one.
2. to Central Admin and found there may 2-UPAs created.
3. changed the MySite settings on both the UPAs, created Managed Paths wherever necessary and then changed associations of all web applications to one of the main UPA

I don't know it will give you much, I tried closing the file and then opening it again and everything had gone back to normal. Then I couldn't reproduce the error again. I do think it had something to do with that mask.
The layer is a overlay layer filled with neutral grey that has had noise added to it at 70% opacity with a mask, and the mask was feathered at 1.1 px.

Signing applets/ access controll violations

I have just created a fairly simple game (much like that marble jumping solitare game), that is nice, fine, and works. But, however I run it in applet viewer, which automaticly gives it full power and stuff. If i try to run it in it's webpage, it says that it is not allowed to access the reasource default.txt (the default map file). How can I make it run in a webpage? Would it run on a server? Would it run on a completely seperate folder on a person's computer (aka family)? Can I use other files destributed later for new maps(withough more steps, just read the plain text file--It has the ablity to customise the file loaded)?
To sum it up: can I give something to my mum, so that she can click a shortcut and have it just work?

NWBC no option "Access Control" - can't start working with GRC 10.0

I have installed GRC AC 10.0 and have followed the post-installation documentation. All seems to be fine so far.
But when I run NWBC, I do not get the Icon/Option "Access Control".
What can go wrong? My user has sap_all and sap_grac_all, so it shouldn't be the access rights...what else can I check?

But when I run transaction NWBC, the web-browser (Iexplorer) opens the HTML-NWBC, but I do not get the Icon/Option "Access Management". I see this option however on the screenshots of the documentation. And it seems to be the only way to work with the application - or can I work directly within SAP-GUI ?
I see however the Icons "Office", "Cross-Application Components", "Accounting", "Information Systems", "Tools" and I can well drill down into the submenus and use the fonctionality.
What can go wrong? My user has sap_all and sap_grac_all assigned, so it shouldn't be the access rights...what else can I check? any ideas are welcome... - thanks in advance...

SEPA direct debit file not generated

I tried to generate a SEPA direct debit file. All preparations are done according to the documents from the landing page (MandatID, Date of signature, etc.). The file was not generated because of the following error message in payment run window:

I'm not sure which value is missing and which field in SBO has to be filled. I hope anybody can help. The customer has hundreds of payments, where we have to use SEPA standard.

The Creditor ID belongs to the field ID No. 2 on General tab in the business partner master data.

'Could not save because access was not granted'

I have just changed to iMac from a pc.
On the pc I had two LaCie external hard drives containing all my photos. When I connected them up to my Mac, all the photos were there and I was able to edit them but the problem arose when I tried to save them. When I tried to 'save or save as', even using a different file name I am getting the 'could not save because access was not granted' message. The same message pops up even when trying to save something generated in Photoshop and not taken from the external hard drive.
I went into Applications and Disk Utility but it appears the 'hard drives cannot be written to' and the SMART status is not supported, whatever that might mean!
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, possibly your EHD need to be Mac formatted.
If you have formatted them right click on the Icon then select Get Info. On the very bottom of the Get Info window there is a section for Permissions. You need to Unlock (needs your password) and hit the + sign, from there choose YOUR name & Allow "Read Write" - See if that helps..
If the EHD are NOT Mac formatted you will need to transfer everything from one EHD to the other then format the empty drive:- Applications ->Utilities ->Disk Utility -> Hilite Erase (top of window) Mac Extended..After that send everything back to the Formatted drive & do the same to the second drive..Finally Repair Permissions on YOUR Mac Main HD & Verify Disk on the EHD's-after that All should be good..........L
