Links tab

Hi All,
I have a small doubt.
I have main report having empno column. I created a parameter empno in command level.
And I have a sub report which also having empno.For this also I have empno parameter in command level
I want to pass empnos from main report to sub report .So I linked both report empno parameters using links tab.
Now is it required to link empno fields also of both main and sub report again.
Please suggest

No, you don't need to. Linking the parameters up should be enough.

Be sure to install WP files inside a separate folder on the domain.

Not appearing task list in object links tab of document type

Hi guys,
I had an small issue in document type, which is in doucment type object links tab I am unable to find task list data. Nothing is coming up here when i click this task list. Could any one can help me to get that data.

Hi Friends,
Can anybody help me out in Customizing Object Links tab for Transaction CV01N.
I want to know exactly how could we add a customized tabstip in object link other than SAP Standards like Material Master, WBS element and etc.
I want to know whether do we have any SAP Note or any Badi to get the tab strip in Object Link tab.

Material master is standard object to link to
Go to IMG ->Cross-Application Components->Document Management->Control Data->Define Document Types
choose the document type and double click at Define object links and "New Entries"
and enter
Document Type: Your document type
Object: MARA
Screen no.: 201
When New Version: Decide what you want
Create Document: Decide what you want
Document Version:Decide what you want

"Forms" and "Links" tab in "Page Info" dialogue

In Firefox 2.x the "Page Info" dialogue has the "Forms" and "Links" tabs, but they are gone in the latest version.
It seems that this is not documented in the Release Notes.
How can these functionalities be restored ?

Database Expert Links tab work area is missing.

I was forced to give up my perfectly good PC when its lease ran out. When I reinstalled CR XI developer onto my new leased PC everything seemed fine until I needed to edit the links between tables. I can select tables on the Data tab within the Database Expert, but, when I select the Links tab I don't see the window containing my tables. It's as if that object was set to visible=false. Where has my window gone?

At my ETRADE account, the "Quick Links" tab no longer works

With the latest version of Firefox, at my E*TRADE Brokerage Account, there was a page "Complete View: By Accounts" on which there were links called "Quick Links" to select portfolio, statements, etc. Why doesn't this Quick Links tab work with the latest version of Firefox? It makes me hesitant to upgrade to the next version. Thank you.

I'm having the same problem and I just downloaded the latest updates, which didn't seem to fix it. Here's a screen shot:
And the red just along his tricep I had to draw "blind" because it wouldn't populate the brush stroke to cover his arm until after I moved my mouse to the side of the screen. Any changes or movement on the screen is slower than molasses.

Save status when adding cARC link under Object Links Tab

Hi Experts,
I want to know how to save status for cARC or SAP spec links added as Object links under the object Links tab.
Even though I maintain the status it is not saved except for WBS elements.

Do you mean that you have multiple object link types?
I am having the same problem.
For object link type A, I can set and save the status (severity) correctly, but for object link types B and C, it does not work. The status can be set, and it is shown on the UI, but it is not saved correctly, so that the status is gone when I reload the project.
Maybe somebody can help here?

Objekt Link Tab in EDMS

If the function module: EASYDMS_FOLDER_EXPORT or Z_EASYDMS_FOLDER_EXPORT is implemented, then you cannot hide folder options.

I downloaded the newest version of Firefox and now I can not use any of the clickable link tabs in yahoo mail, gmail, or hotmail. Do you know what is causing this.

Go to msn.com for example: at the top of their page they have clickable link to hotmail. When I upgraded to Firefox 7 this link no longer works. Same thing happens with my yahoo mail, gmail and hotmail. If you open up yahoo mail for example; I can not click on the signout tab.... it doesn't function with firefox 7. I worked prior to uploading new version. I don't have that problem on my windows 7 platform.

That problem can be caused by the Yahoo! Toolbar that extents too much downwards and covers the top part of the browser window and thus makes links in that part of the screen not clickable.

You did not say what version you are using but I am assuming you are referring to the Embedded Designer control within VS .NET. This component is not for distribution and can only be used within the .NET IDE for creating reports at application design time.
As AG suggested, you'll need to use RAS ( report application server ) to build your own database linking UI. As well as using it for all other report creation API's.

Jdev 10.1.2 [UIX]: How do you link tabs and its globalheader options?

Hello guys, I've been reading the documentation about tab/globalheader/sidebar. But I haven't found the way to "filter" the links in globalheader as a tab is selected in a page. All the examples are statically defined.
How is it done?, dynamically keeping some state in memory for the selected indexes?
or is it easier to have many different pages for each state of selection?
I also want to conditionally render the shown options based on the user's jazn roles.
So, I was thinking the next solution and I write it here hoping that someone could tell me if I'm on the right track:
Use statically defined pages for each state of selection (and so content) instead of trying to dynamically call content (in a target frame) and keeping selection state somewhere in memory. And conditionally display the options in each page (using switcher) based on the user's jazn roles.

Creating links(tabs Nav) that are expandable

Hello everyone,
I am trying to create a navigation bar that is expandable by using an image with rounded gradient corners on each link.
I do not want to use CSS3, HTML5 or JavaScript, just plain CSS2.
My plan is to slice the image so that the tab expands when the text in the link is increased; example: if I have a word like, red link and later change it to yellow link, I need the tab to expand and accommodate the additional text.
The image is gradient round image, how do I pull this of so that the link expand when the text is increase?
I could do this by using the sliding door technique but this poses a problem because the image has a gradient border, and because sliding door overlaps, there will be a visible line where the slices of the images overlapped.
Also I could place one slice of the image(left corner) on the background of the li tag and placed the other slice (right corner) on the anchor tag; however, how do I repeat the gradient body of the image?
I am just looking for some ideas.

Would I rather use CSS3 Border radius? Sure, I am not trying to design for older browser; however, for now I would rather rely on CSS2, which in my view is the standard. I often use CSS3 for none essential designs and add CSS2 as a backup for browsers that does not support it.
Links or navigation are extremely important, or may I say one of the most important aspects of a website, if your links are not compatible or at least functional and accessible, than you are in trouble.
I completely understand where you are coming from, unfortunately consumers make the final decision when it comes to what kind of browser they want to use.
If I had the power, everyone using IE would use version 7 but that's what I like to call, exotic association.
