Links that scroll down in middle of page

Hi
On my home page I have a bullet list of links that all go
individually to one new page with those bullet lists on it. They go
all the way down the page with a brief explanation. How can I make
the link from the home page take me directly to the bullet list
item that is half way down the page or the bottom of the page. I
don't want them to only take me to the top of the new page.

I have a Belkin bluetooth keyboard attached to my Ipad 3. I would like to know if there is any way to have the arrow keys scroll down when browsing web pages?

I just got my Ipad 3rd generation a few days ago and for my case I got the bulky BELKIN Bluetooth keyboard. I notice that when I press down the arrow keys it does not seem to scroll down when searching a web browser or looking up web pages. However it works fine when scrolling down on office apps such as Pages. I'm wondering if is there a way to make the arrow keys on the keyboard scroll down when on an internet web page like my Mac does.

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

Every time i scroll down in Gmail the page truns trasnparent and i can see my desktop

Windows 7 64 bit, Current Firefox and gmail. Every time i scroll down the page goes transparent and i can see my desktop. If i wait about 5 seconds the transparency goes away but the next time i scroll it comes back. This makes it very hard for me to read what i am trying to look at. I tried turning off the transparency in Win 7 but it did n ot make any diff. While i was typing this very msg if i went past the bottom or edge of the box the letters went transparent as well. Please help i am at a loss as to how to fix this problem.

Help!!! Problems with scrolling down on a web page :(

For some reason I can no longer scroll down when on a web page e.g. facebook. Its not the scroller as that works fine when messaging etc. I think it might be something to do with a 'maximised' page maybe and i don't know how to undo it...
Any help would be much appreciated!!

Please Perform a Battery Pull Restart like this While Device is Powered On remove the Battery wait for a min. then re-insert it back wait till the device take a long Reboot.And see if that helps.

Trying to make a Link that goes to certain spot on page?

I am making a menu page and im am trying to make links at the top of the page that goto certain parts of the page. I want to put like pizza at the top then when you click it, it goes to the pizza section.

When I click a link that goes to a "gif" file/page, it won't open; how do I fix this?

Ever since I've used Firefox, when I click on certain links, and the tab shows "gif", the page is blank. This happens with all kinds of web sites: in TripAdvisor when trying to access certain hotel web pages. Just today when on Delta, as I tried to click and access the store links in their SkyMiles shopping program (like Bloomingdales!).
Here is the tab info from the Delta example: " click (GIF Image, 1x1 pixels)" Some variation of this appears with a blank page. It's frustrating, as these are not suspicious sites! Also I just got Windows 7, so it's happened with both XP and Win-7. What can I do to prevent this and get to the site I want?

Some firewalls like Kaspersky can block content and send a 1x1 GIF image instead.
Kaspersky: Protection > Firewall > Filtration system: disable the "Banner Ad Blocker"

What determines the links that show up on my .mac page?

Just learning iWeb 1.1.2. I created a site that included a welcome page, about me, three pages of photos, and a movie page. All this was using the templates Apple provided. I renamed the photo and movie pages. I expected the Welcome page for the site to be the only one to show up on my .mac homepage. Instead, under My Pages, the Welcome page is the only one that does not appear. (Isn't it supposed to be the equivalent of index.html?) If I go to one of the listed pages, I can then navigate to the Welcome page. But I think that is backward from how it is supposed to work. Also, another site I created showed up at first, then went off the list when I tried renaming the photo pages (removing colons from the names and adding underscores in place of spaces).

If it's any comfort my .mac page does not show all the pages either. Never really paid much attention to it. Really not sure what that's all about. Sounds like a .mac issue , but don't think I'd worry about it as long as the site works.
By the way, the site looks good.
You might think about a page that shows references your albums with links to the pages. You can elect to not have the album pages in the menu bar. Keeps the menu bar from getting too cluttered. Looks like you had that sort of idea on you "about me" page, but no links.
08 incorporates this concept.

I just upgraded to 9.0.1 and when I use my touch pad to scroll down or up a page the page jumps to another tab. How do I remove 9.0.1?

I am using a MacBookPro, OS X 10.7.2. I am unable to use the touch pad to scroll without having the page jump to another tab. This is annoying and the only way I can navigate any more is to use the scroll bar on the right side of the page. I would like to remove the most recent upgrade, any ideas on how I can do that?

When you upgraded, itunes should have put a copy of the itunes library database in a folder named *Previous iTunes Libraries* . If you upgraded itunes today it will show as
iTunes Library 2010-02-28.itl

Since I am not sure of your setup, look for the "Previous" folder on both your C: and F: drives.

Page goes blank if I scroll down

Hey guys,
I am using iWeb '08 to create a basic webpage. For some reason, if I scroll down (in iWeb), the page will go completely blank (just shows the template background) with no items on the page. If I scroll back up to the top, the items reappear. Anything below the page fold can't be seen because I can't scroll down. This happens with all templates.
Why is it doing this? How can I fix it? Thanks!

How do I get a firefox page to scroll down while trying to copy content

Previously, when using Google (via Mozilla) I was able to copy something from say ...Wikipedia, by highlighting and scrolling down through a few pages to gather the content I needed.
Now it only scrolls to the bottom of the first page as far as my task bar line...then I have to go back & copy the next section to the task bar line...etc
What has happened to the old way?

I was not able to replicate this, both:
# left mouse button hold + mouse movement down;
# left mouse button hold + scroll wheel down;
work and are highlighting the contents, when you reach the end of page, the scroll bar moves respectively and you can continue highlighting...
Also if you want to highlight the whole page, try: ctrl+a

How come I can no longer scroll down via my laptop mouse-pad with Firefox 4.0?

You know how you can use the mouse-pad on a laptop to scroll down on a web-page? I used to be able to do that in in the one before 4.0, but no longer can...anyone else have this problem?

Since today the scrolling started to work for me. Was there a fix auto installed? I havent updated anything that I know about.
I might have uninstall an old Java JRE, don't remember when I did it, could that have done it?

Scrolling down a pdf with the down arrow key ...

Hello,
I have a 20 page newsletter pdf with about 12 articles. At the top of the first page there's our text logo, and just below it is a table of contents compiled using table of contents styles (btw this pdf was compiled in Indesign 5.5) and just below that is the first article, then below that, the second.. and so on. At the bottom of each page there's a "return to the table of contents" button that shoots the reader back up to the TOC on the first page when clicked, in addition to a page number. There is also a header with the name of the publication and issue number..
the problem I'm having is, when scrolling through the first article on the first page with the down arrow key, once I get to the bottom of the first page, the cursor then shoots back up to the table of contents. WHat I would like it to do is just scroll down to the next page. Once I get to the bottom of the first page the second time, the cursor jumps down to the bottom of the second page, straight to the page number, a few more taps of the down arrow key takes the cursor up to the header on page 2
I'd like the down arrow scrolling to just go through the articles and skip the page numbers and other header/footer items. Any thoughts? Should I take my question to the InDesign forums? Thanks in advanced

That behavior is controlled when Scrolling is selected from the Page Display Toolbar.
You might want it defined in the Document Properties > Initial View, but I am not certain if it is a choice. Experiment with the options.
I am not familair with Javascript in pdf, but that might set the control.
