Links to assets are missing!

I have linked my files to the selected words in other occations throughout my website. 2 of these links are not working. Please help! The error says "This document contains 2 links to assets that are missing. You can find or relink the missing assets using the assets panel."

Please check the assets panel to see if there are assets that show warning symbols. These are the ones that need to be relinked. As discussed in this thread (http://forums.adobe.com/message/5776353), you can also sort the Assets panel by the warning icon column so all the missing assets appear at the top. Then you can re-link them by right+clicking on each and choosing Relink.

Some Libraries/Assets are missing

I'm reposting this in the bugs list because I didn't get an answer from anyone in the regular list and I'm wondering if I'm one of a few that is having this issue.
I downloaded a couple muse libraries from Muse Resources and the items appear to be in my library panel. However, when I drag an item into my site, the assets panel says the asset is missing. Is there a place to store the library so the assets are always available? I can't publish using an asset that isn't there, can I? I've tried to import the library from the library panel and also double-click it. The items are listed in my library panel but not in the assets panel when I put an item in my site.
It looks like all of the assets that are in the (MR) Page Separators Set 1, all of the arrows in the (MR) Arrow Pack 1 bold and Pack 2 Hand Drawn - all of those are missing assets when I drag them into my muse site so I'm thinking maybe it's something I'm doing wrong? To get the packs into muse, 1 time I double-clicked the .mulib file and it appeared in my library, another time I imported it using the library panel. The libraries always show up in my library folder, the items are available for me to use in my muse site but many times the assets are missing from the asset panel. This also happened with a couple Muse Theme libraries I downloaded; one called Graphic Icons - 004 - Ribbons, all the ribbon assets are missing but the Muse Themes Arrow Kit (sample) are all there. Seems to be a hit and miss thing. I'm sure I installed the Muse Themes arrows & ribbons the same way but some are there and some aren't.

Could you please check if you have all these Libraries listed in AdobeMuseLibrary folder in the following location :
Windows 7: C:\Users\your_user_name\AppData\Roaming\
Windows XP: C:\Documents and Settings\your_user_name\Application Data
Mac: /Users/your_user_name/Library/Preferences/
If they are available, just open their folders and you should see a .muse file inside the folder (with the name of the name of the Library).
Try and open them and check if you get all the assets listed there or not. If yes, and still you are facing issues while using these libraries, I would suggest you to contact Adobe Muse chat support for realtime troubleshooting of the issue.

Always assets links are missing when changing the location.

Hi community: Can you share your ideas with me?
Since adobe muse older versions, asssets files are missing when changing the location or computer. For example develop some project on "desktop" when it move to another location( ex: Another partition or folder with different name), assets says links are missing, we have to relink all assest, is there are any way to fix it? why is that keep happenings? when i design muse templates to sell, it is serious problems to me .

Oracle have a tool for precompiling JSP's it's called ojspc
You can then turn JSP compilation off on the server.

Unable to read email with mozilla firefox. The online graphics are missing and the links are unable to be accessed when I try to click on them

Having issues with being able to assess my email on Mozilla Firefox. When I sign in, the graphics are missing. Once I'm logged in, the inbox is not there. Some thing is wrong graphically. There are work links for inbox and contacts, but they are all flushed to the left of the screen. When I attempt to click on them, nothing happens. I have tried to remove Firefox and then reinstall it but the same thing happens. I also attempted to reset firefox to its default state and that did not work either. I check plug ins and most are up to date. However, not clear for window presentation foundation is and if it was necessary to have. The plug in state was unknown. Please advise on what to do? Make sure that you haven't enabled a High Contrast theme in the Windows/Mac Accessibility settings.
Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own colors.
*Tools > Options > Content : Fonts & Colors > Colors : [X] "Allow pages to choose their own colors, instead of my selections above"
Note that these settings affect background images.

CS3: PDF-Export Transparency Issue when Image-Links are missing

I have a Layout with a transparent Frame on the top most Layer. For this Workflow-Step I do not have access to the original Image-Links, so I guess that all I see are the embedded Preview-Pictures and InDesign reports that all Object-Links are missing.
If I export this Layout as JPG, the resulting JPG looks like the WYSIWYG in InDesign, which is suitable for this workflow-step. However when I export as pdf, the Frame is not transparent anymore. Instead it is filled with white color and covers the rest of the Layout. In Adobe Reader I can actually select the wrongly covered Picture at the border of the frame and copy&paste it somewhere and it looks fine.
When I provide the original Frame-Picture and repair the missing Link in InDesign, PDF-Export works fine.
I have installed & updated InDesign on a new Mac OS X 10.4.11, so all settings should be default.
Transparency Blend Space is set to CMYK. I tried all default PDF-Export Profiles and tried a lot of different settings in the pdf-export dialogue including different PDF-File-Versions, Simulate Overprint on/off, Color-Conversion disabled, disabling Picture-Compression and much more. I also tried to Print a PS-File and then use the Distiller: same result.
I use Adobe InDesign CS3 V 5.0.2 and tried Adobe Reader 8.1.2 and Adobe Acrobat Pro 8 to display.
Any Ideas?

Transparency flattening REQUIRES having access to the high-resolution images to get good results. One of the slogans I teach printers is "Fatten before you flatten." Meaning, replace the low-res images with high-res images.

I've an old file without it's links folder, I was wondering If there was any way to extract low quality images from it to relink them.

@Bernardo – you could export the graphic frame that holds the low res preview to e.g. PNG.
But I would *NOT* re-link them! Place them anew in case someone has geometrically transformed (cropped, rotated, skewed, mirrored) the original ones. Keep in mind that by exporting graphic frames to PNG, fill and stroke properties together with applied effects are exported as well.

unfortunately, i have no access to metalink these days.
We had also the following error ; on the attempt to open the assignment form of the item:
APP-OFA-48317: the employee to which this distribution line is assigned is no longer valid.
when the form opens there is no emmploye visible in the assignment line.
and in the table FA_MASSADD_DISTRIBUTIONS an employee_id is there.
So, I chose an employee in the form and saved it, then I cleared the employee from the line and saved again.
Finally the problem is solved.

QM notification attachment links are missing from table SRGBTBREL

We have problem in our system and the documents(specially QM notifications-QM02 03) are not accessible from the content server only for a specific period (Nov to Dec 2009) due to a missing link in SRGBTBREL (No idea how the entries are deleted).
Now we want to know, how we can establish a new link or restore the missing link in table SRGBTBREL ?
Also if someone can tell how to find the relation between the PHIO_ID and notification number ?
or the relation between Archive object id and notification..if we have this information then we can some standard function module provided by SAP.
or anyone else have any better idea , please share

Thanks for your reply , the given links were quite useful and we got some ideas that what should be the approach.
Approach to resolve the issue -
At this moment we are trying to get the relation between the SOOD , SRGBTBREL, SOFFPHIO tables.
SOFFCONT1 is no more useful for us as the documents are old and have been archived to Content Server.
We have all entries in the SOOD table and also in SOFFPHIO table, but in the SRGBTBREL the links are missing and hence the documents are not visible in SAP.
If somehow we can get the missing link is this table I am quite sure that documents wil be visible and accessible from SAP.
Our main target is to relate SOOD SRGBTBREL and SOFFPHIO and get the PHIO_ID for the mising documents and then we have a functional module which will help to get the data from content server.
As per my current unerstanding this is the relation between the tables
SRGBTBREL-INSTID_B is related to: SOOD-OBJTP,SOOD-OBJYR,SOOD-OBJNO,
Like FOL30000000000003EXT31000000002416
Here
SOOD-OBJTP = EXT
SOOD-OBJYR = 31
SOOD-OBJNO = 000000002416
And This elelement is than linked to table SOFFPHIIO as follows:

In the table SOFFPHIO you can find the PHIO_ID what is linked to
SOFFCONT1 or the Archive Server
I am trying to solve the problem by using the approach mentioned above , still somehow I have some difficulties to get the links between the tables.
Can some one tell if my approach is correct or not ? or suggest with any other simple solution ?

When I'm trying to assign CHN Chart of Depreciation to c.Code 0319 the below error message is giving by SAP Sytem. This Chart of Depreciation is already 4 C.codes are using.
Could you pleasea provide the detailed procedure...
Error Message is:
The result of the check of company code 0319 shows that important global parameters from Financial Accounting are missing for Asset Accounting.
One or more of the following fields are affected:
Currency
Chart of accounts
Fiscal year version
Input tax indicator for non-taxable transactions

The solution is in the error message itself i.e
Input tax indicator for non-taxable transactions
Firstly you have to create tax codes for non taxable transaction in TR Code FTXP for the respective company code.
Secondly you have to assign these tax codes to your company code in TR code OBCL and save
Then You can proceed and do the assignment of Chart of Depreciation to the Company code.
I think this will solve the problem.

There are still plenty of images attempting to be loaded from a folder level above the Root:

are you sure there is an "images" folder in the root?

Typically attempting to look at the index file of a folder level will return "Access Prohibited" or actually reveal the file and sub folder structure with that folder level... but trying to directly access the "images" folder returns page not found. While I realize there may not be any index page there... I would normally be getting "Access Prohibited".
You may have made changes but are you sure they have ALL been uploaded to the server?
Are you uploading via DreamWeaver or an FTP program?
How are you verifying that the server folder structure is exactly the same as your local machine?

Songs that I have purchased are missing in iTunes (file not found/exclmation point), and do not show up in the iTunes Store for download.

I have a laptop that has (or had) pretty much all of my music, both burned from CDs and downloaded from iTunes. My 17 year old son on occasion syncs his iPhone and iPad with this laptop. As of the last sync (as best I can determine), many songs that I purchased in the past few years are now missing, in that they have an exclamation point to the left of the song title, and when I try to play the song, I get an error message that says "The song could not be used because the original file could not be found" or something to that effect. As it turns out, the file seems to be erased. This has happened multiple times, and I could be wrong, but I believe that there are some songs that had the exclmation point last time he synced that now don't, and vice-versa. There is not an obvious correlation or grouping as to why these songs are missing (e.g,. they were not all purchased on the same date, not all songs from one artist are missing, etc.).
Since most of these songs have been purchased through iTunes through my account, my reaction was to go to the iTunes store, log in with my account, and re-download them. Problem is, all of these songs instead ask me to purchase the song, instead of displaying a "cloud" logo. Therefore, it appears that I have to re-purchase these songs, which does not sound correct.
Questions: Does anyone know, most importantly (to get an immediate fix):
1. How can I re-download these songs and why doesn't iTunes Store recognize that I have already purchased them?
and perhaps as important (more of a long-term question):
2. Why does this happen and how can I prevent this from happening again (since it has happened multiple times)?

1. iTunes won't offer cloud downloads for songs that it "thinks" are in your library, even if it "knows" the files are missing. If you've exhaustively searched for the missing files and there is no prospect of repair by restoring to them to their original locations, or connecting to new ones, then delete that tracks that display both the missing exclamation mark and are of media kind Purchased/Protected AAC audio file. Don't hide from iTunes in the cloud when asked, close iTunes, then reopen. You can download from the cloud links or iTunes Store > Quicklinks > Purchased > Music > Not on this computer > All songs > Download all.
2. Why? Not sure, perhaps 3rd party tools or accidental key presses combined with previously hidden warning messages when trying to organize the library. There is a hint that using the feature to downsample media as it is synced to a device may also be involved, though I've not replicated it. Whatever the reason a backup would protect your media.

I am forced to hold shift and refresh the page on 99% of the sites I visit. How do I fix this from happening? If I don't the pages are missing style sheets and etc.

When ever I go to sites they half load or are missing style sheets. If I view the source for the page and click on a style sheet link I get the following error:
Content Encoding Error
The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because it uses an invalid or unsupported form of compression.
If I hold shift and refresh the page loads as normal.
It's happening on 99% of the sites I visit. I have disabled my plugins and add-ons.
I do have some add-ons or plugins that I would like to remove completely but there is no uninstall or remove option, neither in regular or safe mode.

All scripts are missing from scripts tab

I dont know why but all the scripts that were in my scripts tab are missing. This happened once before and I found a fix but cant locate the steps to that again. I remember it had something to do with backing up a few files and have ID recreate them or something. Any ideas?

I just had similar experience where I lost links to my files in creative cloud. There was an update to creative cloud today and my creative cloud on PC was replaced with a new one. I went to my User Account and found two Creative Cloud Accounts: "Creative Cloud" and "Creative Cloud (unknown)". The "Creative Cloud (unknown)" is where I found my linked files. Check to see if you now have two creative accounts on your PC. This may be the reason????
I am currently copying and pasting all my files into the current "Creative Cloud" from the "Creative Cloud (unknown)". I am only focusing on 1 InDesign Doc I have due to tomorrow and had to manually reset all the links to it. If I have to manually restore all links to my files saved in Creative Cloud--I will blow a gasket on Monday! All PDF files (interactive ones especially) I have saved have lost their links--I don't even want to look at or deal with right now.
