Links to developer documentations are dead

Hi,
Most of the links to the developer docs are dead, especially those to the Java, PHP and Dev guides are giving a 404 message.
Can someone tell me how I can get these guides?

Links on nook hd+ are dead

On the new update adobe acrobat dc the sign in link is inactive. What I mean by that is when I touch "sign in" nothing happens. The link is dead.

Who can share some Adobe Reader plug-in development documentation besides SDK documentation?

I want to develop a Adobe Reader plug-in to realize a function that I can delete/insert the pdf file's content when open a PDF file, but the SDK documentation is too indistinct to me, for example: which callback method I should to call? I read the AS_Layer of the SDK documentation, it seems that the PMSetTextProc should be invoke? How and where should I to invoke this callback method? The SDK documentation doesn't provide a sample.
Who can share me some more detailed Adobe Reader plug-in development documentation? or who can give me some advice how to read and use the SDK documentation?

I read the content of Acrobat Core API of SDK documentation, this documentation describe the Portable Document layer as follows:
PDFEdit methods deal with the physical representation of a PDF document. More specifically, PDFEdit methods handle page content as a list of objects whose values and attributes are modifiable. These methods allow your plug-in or PDF Library application to read, write, edit, and create page contents and page resources, which may contain fonts, images, and so on.
I look up PDFEdit_Layer in the SDK API, not found the callback method to response to open PDF file and display content, so I think that may be my idea is wrong.
Could you point out my mistakes?

Retired Developer Documentation as from 9.0.3?

I have noticed that the Developer Documentation is no longer maintained ('The Oracle Content Management Software Development Kit (SDK) Developer Reference was retired with the 9.0.3 release.'). I wonder why and what this means.
Firstly, beside the starter application, there is no additional guidance for new developers on how to use CMSDK, which will result in a steeper learning curve and that may result in lower acceptation of the product.
Secondly, since there is no more time invested in the Developer documentation, does this mean the product is be declared obsolete in the near future? So, I guess the question here is whether we should spend time and start new projects with CMSDK, or should I start looking around for alternatives.

This is what I've been told...
The Developers Guide as it existed in CMSDK 9.0.3 and below has been discontinued and will be replaced by separate learning modules in the future. You can however still use the CMSDK 903 Developers Guide (available on otn) as class/method changes in CMSDK 904 are very limited.

I'am learnig jmf by reading the jmf documentation in the oracle website.
But all source codes in jmf documentation are missing because the website is oracle, and not sun.

Before applying EP6SP2 portal patch 4 everything was working fine ... but after applying portal patch 4 java developement -> Documentation and examples tabsare not working ... It is giving Portal runtime error ....... page could not create the iview.

Some text links not working some are

I got a website I've created hosted tonight and I have one problem I cant figure out. www.northeasternprobeowners.com is the site. The problem I have is the links bar at the top of each page doesn't work. The are the same as the links on the left-hand side of the home page except they dont work. When I look at it in the Inspector>Link toolbar everything seems correct. Any ideas? Is it something to do with how the template is made? This is my first time using iWeb and other than this its been a great program. I cant wait to explore more of its features.

I got it figured out to my satisfaction. I kinda misunderstood the "include page in nav bar", "display nav bar features" so I'll be able to get good enough. I wish when I was on the home page, the home link would be "dead", past meets page the past meets link would be "dead" but its not that big a deal. Not like it the worlds greatest website. Thanks for help.
EDIT The links are "dead" when I want them to be,even better. Now I feel dumb for even asking this. lol

your authorizations will be decided depends on your role in your team.
yes you will have authorization for creating name space ,but your bussiness system will be created by Basis pesron and assign it to your scenario.
Business System is a logical entity which represents logical view of your technical system. (eg a client in R3 system can be respresented as business system in SLD) For one technical system you can have multiple business systems.

I got from a family member, everything is fine on the pc. but the USB plugs are dead.
the last thing plugged into them was an Android phone, after googling. seems they can kill the usbs on some pcs.
some have fixed the issue by doing a 5v fix to "jumpstart" it back. but i'd rather not, since I dont even know how to acquire the 5v battery.
windows 7 says nothing is wrong with all usb in device manager.
removing and rebooting all usb items in device, to have windows reinstall, does nothing.
i dont know what to do...i want a mouse. attched is the log of belarc advisor. i want to be able to type, without this **bleep** pad picking up the slightest thumb movement thinking its my doing.

First, putting your full model number in your post, which you have done, is a good thing. But, you should never put your serial number on this public forum. This is not a formal Toshiba Support site, but a peer support forum. We're all just users and other Toshiba owners. Edit your original post and remove your serial number.
You've probably done it, but have you made sure the USB ports are enabled in your BIOS? If not, on a restart, press the F2 key as soon as you see the Toshiba logo to enter the BIOS Setup, surf for your USB ports, make sure they're enabled, save & exit.
If that hasn't helped, click on the 'Start' button, type in 'sys' and click on 'System Information', look for 'BIOS Version/Date'. If you do not have BIOS version 1.80, download this file to to your desktop, after a fresh restart double click on the file to begin the BIOS update, follow the directions in the link:

No joy? Next, you mention that you are using Windows 7, but you don't mention whether you are using the 64bit or 32bit edition of Win7, this could be important. But, from what I can see, it appears you may be using Windows 7 Ultimate, 64bit edition.
Regardless, your system originally came with Windows Vista Home Premium 32bit edition, and is only capable of using 4MB of RAM maximum. Given this, you should probably be using the 32bit version of Win7, as there is no benefit to using the 64bit version, with a 4MB maximum RAM limit.
Next, as it sounds like you have already tried deleting all USB items in Device Manager, and then rediscovering them on reboot. So, let's try to reload your core drivers: the chipset, display & sound drivers. The chipset drivers control the USB ports. You should only be using hardware drivers supplied by Toshiba for your system, as Toshiba notebooks are very finicky about use the their own drivers, not those from Windows Update, etc.
As you have an AMD processor, AMD chipset & AMD/ATI display card, the chipset & display drivers are included in one package. Download to your desktop & double click on each of these files to reinstall them in this order:
AMD/ATI Display & Chipset Driver for Windows 7 (32/64)
Realtek Audio Driver for Windows 7 (32bit/64bit)
Reboot after installing each the above. Try your ports again.

CCM 4.2 and 5.0 developer documentation

Just in case you missed yesterday's announcement. CCM 4.2 and 5.0 are now officially out (as usual on new product hold) and the development documentation has been updated and is available at the usual place: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/voicesw/ps556/products_programming_reference_guides_list.html
Now we just need somebody to come up with a way of running CCM 5.0 on a VMWare as having physical server for a handful of different CCM Versions and service releases never really was and never will be an option.
While I do not have the WSDL and XSD files yet, the AXL manual still mentions the usual files so one thing's for sure: things have not improved at all in the AXL department and the WSDL still has to be hacked to permit an import into Visual Studio. When will Cisco learn that WSDL and XSDs are not to be edited (never ever ever), but must be autogenerated by the development environment where you design your webservice? <sigh>

the applications i wrote (using VS 2005) may not work because of differences in AXL module in CCM 4.2.
What should i do? If wsdl were not bugged i could update the proxy class and everything should work... but we know that this is not true!!
Any people are working with VS and CCM 4.2? Is there an hacked version of .wsdl for CCM 4.2?

CORBA and RMI are "dead"?

Hi,
I'm a Comp. Sci. student taking a course in CORBA and RMI and was wondering how relevant these technologies are out in the real world? I have a friend in industry who tells me that these technologies are "dead". He says XML has taken over as a communications standard.
Also, I am in the design phase of developing a 3D online game and I want to know if CORBA or RMI is fast enough to be used in a realtime application such as this (let's say I want to make 10 remote method calls per second to each of 50 clients). Can someone aim me at some benchmarks or performance figures?

I can't speak about CORBA, but
o We have some very robust applictions written using RMI.
o We wonder if SUN is walking away from RMI totards JAX: an XML-based communications scheme.
2. Your problem is kind of under-specified, but
o the way you phrased it sounds like lots of callback from server to clients - an area RMI handles, but only very well on LANs.
o I suspect your performance will be more limited by network characteristics than by RMI. Unerneath, it's just TCPIP.

I have created a navigation system on the master pages and set the presentation to links only mode. I also have other links scattered throughout the program, like a linkable table of contents, etc. Some of them work, some of them don't. Not sure why. Anyone out there having similar issues? Or have any idea on how I can solve this issue? Any help would be appreciated!

Links should not create any problems in Keynote. If they are set up correctly on text, the text will be underlined. Objects that have links will have a curved arrow bottom right, if you click the arrow a popup will display the link information.
Try this repair for Keynote, ensure you complete all the tasks and in the order shown:

delete all the iWork applications if you have them, not just Keynote, using Appcleaner from Mac Update, its a freeware application

empty the trash: Finder > Empty Trash

Shut down your Mac, wait 30 seconds, then power on the Mac, immediately after the start chime, hold down the Shift key
When you see the grey Apple symbol and progress indicator (a spinning gear), release the Shift key.
If you are prompted to log in, type your password, then hold down the Shift key again as you click Log in.

Let the Mac fully boot up, it will take longer as the OS is repairing the drive

when fully booted, go to Applications > Utilities > Disc Utility; click on the boot drive then First Aid tab and click repair disc permissions

when complete, restart the Mac normally, Apple menu > Restart

install Keynote from the Mac App Store

Me too but it's happening on my iMac after I did a software update this morning which included fixes in Mail it said. My Mail was fine before the update!
