Links underneath accordion drop downs?

So I've got my my navigation bar made up of mostly accordion menus, and honestly they are a real pain in the ***. Should I be using an alternative? Take a look at my site to see for yourself.

Underneath the nav, you can see on the map that there are 3 elipses labeled BLD 1, 2, and 3. Each elipse is a link to another page of the site. However, I can't however over BLD 2 because of what looks like some sort of interference with the nav above. If I double click the area right above the elipse, it acts as if a text box is highlighted, coincidentally the same size as the drop down directly above it (the VISUALS tab).
This seems as if it is a rant, but it has definitely been giving me some problems. Thoughts?

You are correct , its the Visual menu item which is overlapping with BLD 2 as a result its not activated when you hover the mouse.
You would need to lower down the map in page so that it does not gets overlapped , or adjust BLD2 position itself on map either by stretching the map or using a bigger image.

Mobile drop down menu won't disappear once I have clicked one of the links in the drop down to take me to an anchor further down the page. I want the drop down to disappear upon clicking and scroll at the same time.

Basically I have a drop down menu, which i have tried to create numerous times with different widgets available in muse or as freebies on the net.
The menu within the drop down is a manual menu and each button links to an anchor on the page, so that when clicked the page scrolls to that anchor.
My problems is that once I have clicked one of the links to go to the anchor further down the page the drop down remains. For the purpose of User Experience and fluidity across the mobile design i would like the drop down to disappear on click of the anchor link. Is this possible?

Linking TextFields to Drop Down Boxes and selections back to subforms

I suppose I have two separate questions here.
#1 - I would like to have a drop down box auto populate based on a text field in a repeating sub-form.
For instance, I have a "Loan Info Subform" with the loan number text field on it that can be repeated on the same form and I have a "collateral subform" where I would like to have the choice of which loan number within the form the collateral belongs to.
Is this possible?
And if so, question #2
I have a "FairMarket Value of Collateral" decimal field on the Collateral Subform that I would like to autopopulate back into the proper Loan Info Subform, based upon the choice in the drop down list.

Adding a comment link to a drop down menu

I have created a worksheet with drop down menus including yes, no and n/a. Ideally when No is clicked I would like a comment box to open for entrants to explain the reasoning behind the answer given. Is this something that is possible?

When searching on Facebook none of the links in the drop down menu work.

Including the "See more" option so I cannot search. Uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox did not solve the problem and it does not happen with IE. How can I fix this?

IIRC, FM8 had an issue with a path having more than 5 (or 6?) sub-folders. Try bringing the files up a few levels or create a mapped network drive down to the lower levels.

Linking a page as a browser window from a drop-down menu item

I have tried to link from a drop-down menu item to link to a small browser window instead of a full page. I tried using the "behaviors" but I got both the regular page and the browser window. Is there a way to make it just the browser window.

I tried that target=_Blank" but I still got the regular page plus the small browser window . I got rid of the Behavior for now. My aim is to would display the page in a simple 450 wide x 450 long browser window with a scroll bar with nothing else. If you can give me a code hint to do that, It would be appreciated. I'll figure out the rest.
My HTML coding skills are limited, as I'm used to using FP.(FP seems to be to the Web circles as the Bard's Scottish Play is to the theatrical world)

Drop down link in Fireworks

I am having trouble linking my Fireworks drop down menu. I set the link in Fireworks and when I export to dreamweaver the pages will not connect. Could you give me some advice where I could find a tutorial in actualy conecting html pages with the drop down menu?

Try setting the links in Dreamweaver instead.

Drop Down Menu Linked to Nav Bar

It looks like the default menu bar that opens up when you click a "my page" or drop down button is layered into the nav bar. That is, if the drop down menu is bigger than the navigation area, it is "hidden" behind that layer.
I would like to bring this menu forward one step, so that it is over the navigation. I can't find where to do this at.
Also, what was the thought behind hiding it, am I missing something about a possible conflict with a browser?

Hi Kirk,
Do you mean how the drop downs do not go below the banner area? If so, it is done that way because of the burn-through problem. In IE a select box (and in Netscape all form inputs) are displayed above all other layers. That means if a there is a select box in one of the portlets on a page, and the drop down drops down over it, the select box will appear on top of the drop down. This will obscure the links in the drop down.
If you don't mind the burn through problem, then there is a variable in navhztlddmenufuncs.js that you can change the value of. Look for the following code in that file.

Link directly out of a drop down menu

I would like to link directly out of the drop down menu, but I don't get it running.
Here each entry in the drop down menu has a different link.
My drop down menu will be created in a dynamic way.

So I've added quite a few dropdowns to my project, and thanks to help on here I've added little twistys in the form of a + and - icon that changes when they are opened.
The next thing I want to add is the ability to link to a particular dropdown that will open it aswell, whether it be a link to a drop-down on the same page, a link to a drop-down on a different page, or even to a drop-down within a drop-down.
Anyone have any idea on how I could do this.

Editing Drop Down Menus in Contribute

I have a client who is using contribute and wants to edit
drop down menus. These drop down menus link to individual pdfs and
she changes the names of the pdfs on a regular basis and wants to
update these links in the drop down menus. The site was created in
Dreamweaver. In role preferences of Contribute I turned on the
allow unrestricted editiing which allows form elements to be
edited. However I cannot figure out how to change the drop down
menus. Is there any way to edit the drop down menus fields in
Contribute?

Create a SSI (with PHP f.i.), best in de root of the site,
considering the way Contribute is handling linking.
Call the file something like menu.inc.php.
Provide your client with the url to menu.inc.php in the
Bookmarks or explain the Choose-button in Contribute to open the
file menu.inc.php.
Keep the file simple (ul/li or p) .
