Day link - want Item to contain day number from calendar

I'm a bit stymied here.
Using the calendar, I would like to add a branch to a page based on the DAY of the calendar that the user clicks on. For example, if the calendar is on the screen, and the user clicks on day number 15, then I would like that "15" passed to the page that the user is sent to.
Being a little more specific:
Page 1 is a calendar page. When the user clicks on a day number in the calendar, I want it to branch to Page 2.
Page 2 contains a text field for the calendar day. I would like to populate this field with the day number selected on Page 1.
I can't seem to get ApEx to do this, but it seems like an obvious feature that users would want if they're using the Day Link functionality at all.
Can anyone help??

I just tried creating a custom calendar template. There I changed the Weekday Attributed / Day Title Format to the following:
<a href="f?p=&APP_ID.:2:&SESSION.::&DEBUG.::P2_DAY:#DD#"><div class="t10DayTitle">#DD#</div></a>
and this worked out.
You also need to change the
Non-Day Title Format and
Weekend Title Format
the same way, in order to cover all dates.

I apologize for not having the PDF ready on ship day. This was a decision I had no control over. Despite my heavy lobbying (on behalf of users like yourself) the new Help system had more pressing technical challenges for our production team.
The good news is the PDF looks good with the bonus of having navigation on every page in the form of bookmarks. It can be updated as often as I like too.
Just a bit more patience is required, as we have almost completed testing it.

Purchased QT Pro. Every time I launch it I have to re-register. Someone posted a hack of sorts but I don't want to hack my computer. I purchased the program it should not be troublesome. My mac is healthy maybe Apple software isn't. help!

QuickTime Player 7.6.6 installs in the Utilities folder (not the same version 10.1 that installs in the Applications folder).
Once you enter the registration info the "Pro" features are unlocked for all User accounts on the machine.
Did you move QuickTime Player 7.6.6 from the Utilities folder?
Have you tested QuickTime Player 7.6.6 when logged in using a different User account?

Day link in calendar

Hi
I try to create a booking system in APEX.
I plan to use the calendar region. I want to display when the room are booked and when it free.
When the room are free I want to use a link (maybe day link) to redirect to a booking form, if the room not are free at the day, there should not be a link to the booking form.
When I look at the calendar region, I can't find any condition properties for the day link so the link only are there if there not are any booking at the day.
Some one there have a idea?
What about background of a day cell (in month view), is it possible to set green when there are not a booking in the table and red if there are a booking?

How to open links in the same window, without changing preferences?

What I want to know is if there's a way to force a click on a link to open in the current window just one time, if the page was using target=_blank or other methods to open a new tab/window.
The context menu doesn't have an option for that, was hoping for a modifier key option or something, or perhaps a plugin that would add such an option.
I know there's an advanced pref to change the behaviour of clicking on links to control new tabs, windows, etc. I don't want to change the default, I just for certain links want to prevent the new tab on a one-up basis.
(currently on Firefox 30 for Mac)

Firefox actually doesn't have any built-in preference for overriding the target attribute. If you are on a site where you know the link is coded to open in a new tab, currently, the best workarounds are:
* drag and drop the link on the address bar
* right-click > Copy Link Location and then paste in the address bar
Neither is convenient...
You might be able to find an add-on for this. For example, Tab Mix Plus, Tab Utilities, and other multi-functional tab-related extensions might have an option to force links into the same tab. In a brief search, I saw one called TargetKiller that is more focused on this but recent reviews mention conflicts with other extensions. If this is a frequent pain point, you could search further on the add-ons site.

Another possibility is to solicit someone to write a userscript. A userscript is a JavaScript add-on that can modify web pages, but not the user interface (for example, it cannot add a right-click context menu item). You need the Greasemonkey extension to run userscripts, and you need to evaluate them carefully because they are not formally reviewed by anyone.
You can contact userscript authors through these sites, and if someone is interested, they'll usually write the script for free and post it for everyone's benefit:

Firefox want download any bills from vodafone site

I have been trying to download and reprint my bills from vodafone and the link want open.... I have allowed it access when popups asked, but it still want download.
Vodafone say I must use internet explorer and will only support internet explorer.

Hi Joe, some other users have reported that the Real Downloader is not working in Firefox 22. If you have updated it and it still doesn't work, you might consider using a different downloader. I don't have any personal recommendations on that, but you can check out the reviews on the add-ons site:

Only some of my folders are in the drop down when I try to bookmark a page. I have many more folders, but can't bookmark to them

I used to be able to choose from all folders when bookmarking a site. I was able to click on 'Choose' and all folder would drop down. After a firefox update yesterday, only 5 folders show up, along with the 'Choose' option. When I click on 'Choose' it takes me to to 'UnSorted Bookmarks'.
Has this happened to anyone else and how do I get out of this?

The exact same thing is happening to me. The drop down only shows 5 of my bookmark folders. Unless I hit "Choose" then they all show but I don't want to take the extra steps. I have 9 different folders and I want to be able to just bookmark a website and drop it into that folder. I end up forgetting which folders I have b/c I only see 5 of the 9. Yes I can see them all when I hit choose but that defeats the purpose of having the bookmark function be a quick & simple one. If I have to "Organize" the folders every single time I favorite a site then its pointless to even show 5 of the folders you might as well not show any. Furthermore I can't even choose the 5 folders I want to show (i.e. the ones I use the most). I would be happy if I could opt to have my top 5 folders in the drop down menu & then the ones I don't use as much be under choose. But there is no option (that I can find) that lets you do that. I've even deleted, renamed, repositioned the folders and nothing is working.
Btw this only happens when I 1st bookmark a new page. Under Bookmarks I can see all of my folders & links (no problem). This only happens when I am 1st bookmarking a link & want to drop it into a folder I've created.
Please let me know if there is a way to fix this or is this a system issues.

Repeating header

Hi All;
I have searched for information that would address this
question, but I can't seem to locate anything. If it has, please
direct me to the link, if it is posted in this forum.
I have jut started using DW 8 for the first time (I used
Golive before). Now there is a feature that I used in Golive to
create a master header or footer. I created the header on a page
and saved it as a component, then linked that component to a page
that I was creating. If I had to update the header, I would update
the header component file and all other Web pages would be updated.
I'm trying to find a similar feature in DW that would allow
me to do the same. I've read about templates and repeating regions
but I'm not too sure if this would work as expected. Any support
would be greatly appeciated. Thanks.

OK, Step by step, a short tutorial.
Don't worry about databases. Open a new page, switch to code
view and delete EVERYTHING from the page.
If all you have is a repeating image, this is all that needs
to be in your include file:

If you want it centered add the <div> tags and
alignment (just click the center icon in the properties dialog)
Then save as header.shtml and all your web pages as
[pagename].shtml. Actually, only the page needs to .shtml be but I
always name everything the same to avoid confusion and conflicts.
(I am easily confused)
At the top of each page, put this right after the
<body> tag:

Now, this seems very simple, and why not just put the image
on the top of each page? Well, as you progress, you may add a menu
to the include file or some other text or Images. It doesn’t
matter what you put there, here is the thing, when your site gets
pretty big and you change your mind about a link, want to remove
it, change one, add something, all you change is the header.shtml
file, upload it to your server and every page on the site that
contains that file will change with no updating, synchronizing or
uploading required.
This is what makes this far superior to templates. It is easy
to update a template, but when you do, if you have 100 pages
attached to that template, in several different folders you must
upload 100 updated pages to all their respective folders. If
you’re using synchronize properly not that big a deal, but
still much more than one file.
You can use this same technique for multiple areas on a page,
such as header.shtml, footer.shtml, menu.shtml, etc. Just put them
where you want them on the page, make one change to one file and
all 100 pages on your site are done!
Leave out all css and styling definitions and such. Just use
the header tags (h1, h2, etc.) or your own style tags defined in
your css file. Once the css reference is set in your parent file,
it will apply to all of your include files on that page as well.
This is very basic and there are tons of nuances that can be
added and tweaked, but I hope this gives you a good start…
Once you get it, you will use it a lot.

Audio Files and Associated Program

I have created a menu page in HTML (Dreamweaver). I have
several audio files that will be located on a CD that contains the
menu page. What I would like to do is ensure that Windows Media
Player launches. Right now these are .wav files and I would perfer
to keep them that way. However, my web page link wants to launch
quick time. Is that an individual machine setting? Is there a way
to keep wav files and link them up so they launch the media player
or do I need to convert them to avi files?
I know a similar question was asked on this forum but the
person was concerned about file size. I am not. Nor do I want to
put them into a Flash file. Thanks.

depends on what the user has set up as the default player for
.wav files.
You can't control that. Some viewers (like Mac users) may not
even have
Windows Media Player on their machines at all.

Submit for approval in KM - automatically?

Hi guys!
When I create document in folder, where Approval process is enabled , I have to click on "Submit for approval", when I want to send document for approval.
Is it possible to send it for approval automatically? SO I create document and it is automatically sent to approvers inbox..

I think without coding no way.
You can create a repository service which will listen to events like <b>ResourceEvent.CREATE_CHILD</b>. When the event is caught the repository service will submit the resource for approval. For more info about repository services just search the SDN (or let me know).
