Are you trying to assign a static ipv6 dns on the router? I think it is not possible yet but maybe if they will do an update or if it will be part of the update (if ever) that they will do on the classic firmware. For the EA routers, IPV6 packets are embedded in the IPV4 and the router will convert it using the 6rd tunnel.

  • Needed: EA3500 Original Firmware

If someone has the original firmware for the EA3500 I would appreciate a copy. I need to downgrade my router after Cisco sabotaged it with their Cloud Connect. This will be the firmware you have right out of the box. Be sure you go into the Admin. section and Save a Copy before you ever connect to the Internet. Also Uncheck the Auto Updates box or you will be fed the Cloud Connect (and its amazing Terms Of Service). Thank you for any help

  • Satellite A105-S1013: Need CDW/DVD drive original firmware?

I flashed the wrong firmware model of my CDW/DVD optical drive and now the drive is not being recognized by WinXP. It simply vanished...
I would like to re-flash the correct original firmware for this drive.
The drive is a TSST model TS-L462C TO10.
Can anybody help me locate the original firmware for this drive model?
I know the firmware are very model specific and are not interchangeable.
I searched all Toshiba/Samsung sites to no avail.
Tks in advance for any help...

Thanks, but unfortunately none of these sites offers a TS-L462C TO10 firmware - they offer other models.
I am under the impression this is a rather new firmware code which has not been widely divulged yet. My computer is rather new ( 3 months since I bought it).
Anybody has or knows who has this firmware ??
    Thanks

  • Restoring original firmware *without* iPod updater?

Recently (since upgrading to iTunes 6?), my 2nd gen iPod no longer mounts (on OS X or winXP). I'd like to roll back the firmware to try an earlier version, but this isn't possible with the iPod Updater software, since my iPod doesn't appear on my computer.
Can you restore the original firmware from the iPod ROM without using the updater? (ie. using some sort of button combination or hardware switch)
Also: my iPod charges over firewire when connected to the computer, but doesn't mount, so I'm guessing it isn't a firewire problem.

Absolutely, I have run into the same exact problem with my 20g iPod (second generation). It no longer mounts to the desktop or to iTunes. I've removed iTunes and attempted to reinstall the iPod Updater, but limits the updater to my hd, since the iPod fails to mount properly.
Also, if you check your system profiler, you'll see (most likely) that it is still reading the presence of the device. It's there, but it isn't. The device works fine when on its own, but simply does not mount.
They need to give us a solution ASAP that doesn't destroy all the information on our devices. We are sinking together.

  • Original Firmware

Is it possible for me to go back to the original firmware installed on my ipod (30gb With Video).
Ever since i've downloaded iTunes7 and this stupid firmware upgrade my ipod, computer, and Itunes have been running super slow and nasty.

Okay, in clicking restore, it will format it (everything is backed up but im trying NOT to reformat it being that i have almost 4,000 songs and full seasons of TV shows and it would take almost 2 days to refill it and thats 2 more days that I, the one that spent $323.89 on a product, should not have to wait) and how am i, or you for that fact sure it will bring it back to the original state so that i may return to using iTunes6? It certainly didnt format the ipod when i upgraded, it shouldn't when i want to downgrade. Sorry if i sound like an @$$, but i'm overly fustrated right now.

  • Linksys EA4500 Leopard Cisco Cloud compatibility

I am looking for a new router to do video streaming and online conferencing on a Mac. I am looking at the Linksys EA4500 and the Apple AirPort Extreme. I have an HP with a Windows 7 OS connected to cable and a Mac. I have an HP Officejet Pro L7580 printer which is capable of wireless. I also have blueray to connect to this device, netflex, and an android. The OS on the Mac is the Leopard. My Mac OS is the 10.8.1. My HP OS is Windows 7 64 bit.
    My concerns:
    EA4500:
Requires connection to the Cisco Connect Cloud system - Is that system compatible with the Mac Leopard system and downloable to the Mac. So many programs say they are compatible. But when you download them the computer rejects them. I have read a couple of blogs with those issues. Does anyone have any experience with this router and a Mac?
What are the known issues with the Cisco Cloud system? Is this a third party software?
    Apple AirPort:
My concern with this router is that it is compatible not only with the Mac but with the HP - Windows 7 64 bit OS that I have, along with my HP Officejet Pro L7580 printer. I read some blogs people had issues with their printers not working consistently or lag in signal strength. These are issues I have with my present router and it's 5 years old.

The Apple Support Communities are an international user to user technical support forum. As a man from Mexico, Spanish is my native tongue. I do not speak English very well, however, I do write in English with the aid of the Mac OS X spelling and grammar checks. I also live in a culture perhaps very very different from your own. When offering advice in the ASC, my comments are not meant to be anything more than helpful and certainly not to be taken as insults.
If you have OS X 10.8.1, then you have the newest version of OS X, and it is called Mountain Lion. OS X Leopard is an old version of OS X. It was 10.5.x.
A lot of 3rd party developers don't really care if their kit works with Apple products, if it works with  Windows that's as far as they go with testing. Apple makes sure that their kit works with their products and with the kit from others.
Unless you have stuff strewn to the far extremes of a really big, multi-storey house (hence the name AirPort Extreme!), the AirPort Express may meet your needs. But the proof is in the pudding, buy it, test it, if it doesn't work, take it back.

  • Linksys EA4500 findet DSL Modem nicht

    Hallo Zusammen,

  • TS-L633N original firmware

I need the original firmware of the CD/DVD drive TS-L633N
Anyone knows where I can find it??

    Hi there @Siwiman,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums! It is a great place to find the help you need, both from other users, HP experts and other support personnel.
I understand that you are looking for original firmware for your TS-L633N.
The available drivers and software for the components in your notebook are available on this page:
HP Pavilion dv6-3190ed Entertainment Notebook PC
It is possible, that one of the packages in the multimedia category, may have something of use to you, although I do not believe the firmware is there. The other option would be just to search the internet, but as in all cases on the internet, treat any unfamiliar site, as if it is a source of the plague. Use caution.

  • N70 original firmware

i have recently upgraded to latest firmware but is there anyway i can go back to the original firmware.

It might be an issue of the new firmware. But the best thing which you can do is to change ur phone, its too old and i think nokia is never gonna fix it. Buy an N96 or some other latest phone.
Phones used: Nokia N70 --> Nokia 5610 XpressMusic
    Current Phone: Nokia N96

  • Backup Original Firmware E3000 - Need Small Push to Start

I am newbe and just bought a E3000. I downloaded and read the manual and read various posts for initial setup. I also reviewed various posts for flashing firmware, including the hard reset, 30/30/30 and power cycle. I also understand there are different views on which flashing method to use or, on a different subject, whether or not to use Cisco Connect. I have viewed issues or mixing Cisco Connect with web based management and certain downfalls.
I have tried to review the web site for information to help the first setup go somewhat right (or at least try to avoid the somewhat wrong).
However, I haven't seen one issue. I want to flash the E3000 with the current firmware, but I would like to backup the original firmware loaded at the factory. I see there is a backup in Administration, but it seems only to backup configuration settings, not the firmware.
Since flashing should wipe out configuration settings with the hard reset, 30/30/30, it doesn't seem logical to start the Cisco CD for Cisco Connect (i.e. - start the initial setup) and then poke and hope to find a command to gui to backup the firmware, if any. The web site does not list the original factory firmware for downloading purposes.
I haven't even plugged the unit in and powered it up.
I want to backup the original factory firmware. How? Thanks.

Just thought I would reply. You were right Wizard. I could not find any option in Cisco Connect or the web gui to enter a line command mode. Later I may try to link into the router with telnet or something else, assuming the standard port can be used or if that port is not disabled by the factory,  and, of course assuming it can be done. Kinda surprising there is not an administration hardware port. But Cisco Connect or the web gui should have access to a line command mode to operate. After all either gui should only represent or execute some line command program or parameter.
But went ahead and flashed before loading Cisco Connect. Did a 30/30/30 before, then flashed and let nvram build after reboot, then power cycle and finally another 30/30/30. Flash seems OK. Been up for couple of days.
Never used the CD - just used Cisco Connect upgrade from download (installed after flash only). Seems that you can use Advance features (enter web administration mode) as long as you do not change any password. Reviewing the web access, it seems very easy to administer without Cisco Connect, but haven't had time to play.
    Thanks again for your reply.

  • Backup original firmware

    Hello together,
is it possible to backup original firmware of a nokia phone before updating it ?
If not, where can I get original firmware of my phone ?
    Any suggestions ?

Your only backout option at the minute would be via a service centre. This has been suggested many times however no-one's ever confirmed whether a service centre has installed a previous version of firmware for them.
