Linksys Router still won't connect

I've followed the steps correctly in the
How do I connect and configure my Linksys Router to use PPPoE DSL service?
under the Router F&Qs.
I've changed the connection type to PPPoE like it says and selected Keep Alive. All my cables are working and are connected so why doesn't my Linksys Router - WRT54GS connect?

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

I think it's trying to open it in a gMail eMail & is losing your gMail password that it needs log into gMail, but not 100% positive.
Have you tried Right clicking or Control+click on the eMail link & choose Copy? Works on some, not others.

Ipad is asking me for pw of my router, it won't connect

Just got my new ipad, pulling my hair out,its my first tablet ever. I had my stupid router pw as admin
and it won't connect with that. Not enough words i guess. i notice it wants 8 words minimum so i went to
my router settings and it won't connect with my new pw either.
It does have a lock next to my name. It does show my router on the list.
Do i need to change a setting in my linksys router. If so i have no idea what or where

I tried to change the name of the name in the wpa2 personal because i had that pw
as my full name which is alot of characters so i changed it to something with 8 letters
and i lost internet connection
there is still a padlock next to choose a network
and the wpa shared key, i assume thats what im supposed to put in, because there is

Computer detects router but won't connect online - help

I came home from work and all of the sudden my computer wouldn't connect at all to anything. We have another computer on the network which I'm using to send this message and it works fine, but mine won't connect. It detects the router and everything is connected- all the numbers come up in the Network preferences like it always does...IP, ethernet, etc., but nothing will connect to the internet or AIM. Anybody know what the problem might be? Can my ethernet card be busted, or disconnected or anything that would cause the computer to locate the router but not actually connect? Any help is appreciated- thanks.

I have a similar problem. Sometimes I get a brief connection, but even then it is extremely slow and I get time out errors.

TS1398 I have never had a problem with Apple. After the 7.02 update, my Wifi grayed out and would not turn on. Now my Wifi turns on but it will not connect. I even typed in the name and it still won't connect. I have tried all of apple's solutions.

I have tried all the solutions apple has offered online. I will not reset my phone to factory settings unless it is a last resort. What is Apple doing to fix this? F4580 won't connect to new O2 wireless router - still showing as connected to old one

Wireless light constantly flashes.
It's still connected to the old router even tho that is disconnected but it is recognising & discovering the new router.....

Thanks for your response Dean! There is no 'screen' on our printer so I'm a bit perplexed how to do what you have suggested. On top of the printer, left hand side there are button's for:
Power
Cancel
Scan {USB only}
Copy Settings x 2 buttons
Black
Colour
Wireless
Basically all we need to know is how to reconnect the Wireless to the new router. The HP Software is working fine with the Ethernet connected MAC & we have no problems printing directly from that. Once the printer is connected to the new router the other devices will be able to see it & connect.
