[linux] 9.0.115.0 causes CPU 100% with firefox

The 9.0.115.0 version of FlashPlayer causes 80-100% CPU
consumption with latest Firefox on linux.
The only solution I found, I get back to the 48... Can you
fix it? Can you help me?

I have the same problem with 9.0.115.0 in Linux.
I have posted a bug-report to Adobe support last week - no
reaction yet.

  • Cpu 100% with getScaledInstance

    Any help on this appreciated....
    I have a subclass of JPanel which I use to display an image which can be changed by other parts of the code (within an actionlistener on a button). When the invoking method calls setImage on this class it then calls a repaint();
    The sample below works fine if I drawImage the original (image). However, if I scale the image first (with getScaledInstance) and try and drawImage the CPU on the machine goes up to 100% and stays there until I close the app.
    No doubt I'm missing something obvious here.... any help?

    I think the problem is with the paintComponent method hich is getting called infinite times, causing outofmemory error. The scaledInstance() method is working fine. I modified your program to use a JLabel as to a JPanel and the program is working just fine. Below is the code sample.

    In the collected thread dumps most of the threads
    are in runnable state at sun.nio.ch.DevPollArrayWrapper.poll0 method.

  • Root cause for 100 % disk utilization

    Hi All,
    Whenever in one of the dailog instance disk utilization is showing 100% sap system is getting very slow,what is the root cause for 100% utilization .At that moment of time when I checked the CPU usage it showed 98% CPU idle. server is on Windows NT and around 13GB of RAM is always free.
    We have only one drive in the apps server.Can this be the cause of 100% disk utilization?

    as described above, one thing that cause 100% disk utilization is that writer processes (and read process too) is concentrated only on a single disk (equivalent to single volume group or single logical volume).
    we can imagine that a large number of user hitting the single disk (where datafiles exist) on the same time with a huge transaction load.
    if we can manage writable datafiles in several locations (equivalent to several volume groups or several logical volumes) where several datafiles exist, writer processes (and read process too) will be distributed to that several locations, so that each location (each disk, each VG or each LV) utilization may not reach 100%.
    so it is important to design writable datafiles in multiple location in different disks to prevent 100% disk utilization.
    one thing should be remember is to consult with hardware and storage vendor if there is any possibilities bottleneck or I/O issue on your hardware or storage.

  • ASE freeze with CPU 100% and IO 0%

    Hi,
    I have a production ASE server using 30 CPU's that's is "freezing" several times in the last week (requiring an machine reboot) and from the last sysmon taken we see that the first 4 cpu are 100% with IO 0%.

    No change was reported and the users and saying the system to be in the overall slower in the last weeks.
    The version is the old 12.5.4 with the latest patch available and the OS is HP-UX.The machine has 256Gb of memory.
    As anyone experienced a behavior like this?

    I have seen this when underlying storage changed from raw SAN devices to NAS file system devices.
    tempdb writes after a certain amount of volume queued up in a serial way choking the whole server.
    This may or may not be what is happening on your server.
    Having said that : If this is not something new  then what was the last change in your case ?
    Especially related to storage
    Wait event 29 is related to storage and  I/O.

  • Password Manager 4.6 and 4.7 causes CPU loop in tzres.dll

    T510 running Windows 7x64.  T510 is in a constant CPU loop with WMIPRVSE consuming the CPU as per Process Explorer.  Using Microsoft Sysinterals Process Monitor determine that the cause is constant calls to access tzres.dll.  Reboot in clean mode and one my one activate services and startup programs until the loop is observed.  It is only observed when Password Manager is started.  Do an uninstall of 4.7 and the problem goes away.  Start with 4.0 of Password Manager.  Each release from 4.0 to 4.5 work fine with no loop.  Installing 4.6 or 4.7 cause the loop.  All Lenovo drivers and programs are current.
    Any ideas?  Tom

  • Space designer causing cpu spike overload

    Hope you guys can help with this, it's beginning to annoy me. I'm currently unable to use space designer reliably. I had this problem in Logic 8 and it's still happening in 9. I have one instance of SD in my current project and it's causing cpu spikes that are giving me errors. The funny thing is that the error happens just after a region that is being sent to the reverb has ended. the cpu meter then gradually rises until the error stops playback. If I turn SD off i don't get these problems or if I disable SD via automation when it's not needed it seems ok also. What the **** is this about? The thing is I really like the sound of SD and miss it when I have to use different reverbs. Anyone else having these issues? I read on another thread that setting all your inputs to "no input" helps but for me it doesn't. What else can I try?

    Just to clarify, I am getting the spike once the audio data stops sending through the SD plugin (whilst the song is still playing). So, for example I may send a 10 second bit of audio through the plug - this works fine. Then once the audio stops sending and the reverb trail finishes....I then get the CPU going mad - and yet there is complete silence within the song - there is nothing else playing!
    This has got to be a bug or conflict of some kind - my computer spec is massive and should be able to cope with a stereo bit of audio through one plugin! (Hope this makes sense.)
    There have been a couple of posts similar but no answers as yet...
    Wondering whether it is a conflict with UAD plugins or something which limits the reproduction of this bug...I have noticed that if I remove all UAD plugins from the channel strip in question, the error tends not to reappear - but the issue is unique to the SD plugin.

  • CPU 100% When Playing Minecraft iMac

    Hi There!
    As the title says, "CPU 100% When Playing Minecraft". Every time I boot up Minecraft the Fan becomes loud. I have another iMac (Late 2013) Model and it runs Minecraft fine with all the same settings. So I don't really no what to do. But if you could help me try to get the CPU usage down or maybe turn the fan down? Or something like that that would be great!!
