Hi Jeff,
do you know why there is no 3.2.0 release on official Eclipse Linux Tools archive page (http://archive.eclipse.org/linuxtools/) or who maintains this?
Thanks a lot,
Sanda

Linux Tools 4.0.0 is released
I am pleased to announce that the 4.0.0 major release is now available
from our update site. Details available in the N&N page [1].
This release is the Linux Tools contribution for Mars SR0.
The tag v4.0.0 maps to commit e3de351ca7ffd1bf722c9f0e2e86998cf1160bae and
corresponds to build 26 in Hudson's linuxtools-mars job.
[1] https://wiki.eclipse.org/Linux_Tools_Project/News/NewIn40Hi guys,
Check this forum link:
CJS-00030 Assertion failed: Component OraDbBuild: Context parameter tDataF
You should find the answer, it looks like Oracle checks if the directory specified has any numbers in the end..
so makesure your oracle home directory is something like...
/oracle/<SID>/920_64 (this is how my server has oracle HOME)

Restore original Sony firmware on Xperia Z with Linux tools
Hello,
I tried Cyanogenmod 10.2 Milestone and after that my IMEI was gone and I could not make calls any longer.
I now would like to restore the original Sony firmware for my Xperia Z. But, I do not use and do not have MS Windows. I have the Android SDK installed.
How can I restore the original Sony firmware just with Linux tools? Can I do that with the Android SDK?
Thank you in advance.GREAT! I HAVE MY IMEI BACK!!!
After installing the latest Cyanogenmod I have my IMEI back and the SIM card works again.
To avoid future problems, how do I backup my IMEI? What folders or files do I need to backup the IMEI?
Thank you. -
3rd party software tools to automate Weblogic deployments/release process
Folks,
I'm currently evaluating few 3rd party software tools to automate Weblogic deployments/release process - software release automation.
if someone has used products from Xepialabs , UC4 or Urbandeploy etc - can you advise how effective these are please?..
We have around 25+ enterprise level release environments based on Oracle weblogic on solaris and it is manual deployments via wlst scripts etc.
Also any ideas/suggestion on opensource projects would be great as well.
I will be really grateful if you can respond.

Why not use the CLI and do it that way? i don't know it AppleScript hooks into the terminal and/or can run terminal commands but that may be worth looking into as well.
I would think that it would be a good idea to erase all your drives in the RAID at once and start fresh. Why not back up the internal to a pair of RAIDED external FW800 drives, add the second drive in the Mac, make the internal RAID by formatting both drives and then copy the external RAID back to the internal RAID? Oops, I know, now we have a step 4.
Nobody from Apple ever comments here. We are all users, just like yourself, that just want to help.

Hi, I'm trying to extract the nano sim tray on my new Ipad air. I know how it should come out but the tool does not seem to release the tray. Any ideas?
Thanks. It needed more pressure than I expected!
Didn't want to break it when it's less then 24 hours old!

Upgrading MRS Tools and Services from lower releases to 2007
Hi,
We have upgraded our CRM Mobile Repository Server to CRM 2007 (see
details below) and we are trying to upgrade the MRS Tools and Services
from lower releases to 2007 SP02 as per "SAP CRM Mobile 2007 SP02 -
Component Upgrade Guide. However, the setup.exe is not upgrading the
Mobile Repository tools as mentioned in the guide (page 34), but it is
giving option to install Mobile client. As per the guide, the setup.exe
program should perform the operations automatically, but it not doing
the same.
Any idea why it is trying to install Mobile Client instead of MRS Tools & Services?
Source:
CRM 4.0 SP08

SQL Server 2000
Target:
CRM 2007 SP02
Windows 2000
SQL Server 2000
Regards
Chandu
P.S : I have also opened OSS message, but any thoughts in this regard would be appreciated.Hello Chandu
There are 2 scenarios post MAR upgrdae
1. When an MDW is installed on the same host that contains the MAR,
2. When an MDW is not installed on the same host that contains the MAR,
In both the scenarios, you would run setup.exe present in \Mobile_Client_Upgrade\UpgradePurposeOnly
folder.
If the machine is of scenario 1, setup.exe would upgrade MDW along with MRS tools and services. So it will give options to install Mobile client as well.
If the machine is of scenario 2, It would setup.exe would upgrade MRS tools and services only.
In your case, I am sure you have 4.0 MDW machine which you are upgrading to CRM 2007 SP 02. So It comes under scenario 1 which i have explained above. There is nothing worng happening with setup.exe

[Solved] Error boot after upgrading and util-linux-tools and sysvinit
Hi all ...
This morning I did a sudo pacman -Syu to update my laptop which packs sysvinit-tools 2.88-8 and 2.22-6 util-linux packages including ...
My surprise that I take is that a few hours ago after starting my laptop again I come across a series of error messages which do not allow me log into the laptop. catches of messages are these:
Picture 1
Picture 2
The log of pacman to upgrade is:
[09.24.2012 9:01] Running 'pacman-Syu'
[09.24.2012 9:01] synchronizing package lists
[09.24.2012 9:03] starting full system upgrade
[09.24.2012 9:21] removed eject (2.1.5-7)
[09.24.2012 9:22] upgraded coreutils (8.17-3 -> 8.19-1)
[09.24.2012 9:22] upgraded libmtp (1.1.4-1 -> 1.1.5-1)
[09.24.2012 9:22] upgraded mlocate (0.25-2 -> 0.26 to 1)
[09.24.2012 9:22] upgraded procps-ng (3.3.3-3 -> 3.3.3-6)
[09.24.2012 9:22] upgraded qt (4.8.3-2 -> 4.8.3-3)
[09.24.2012 9:22] upgraded util-linux (2.21.2-5 -> 2.22-6)
[09.24.2012 9:22] upgraded sysvinit-tools (2.88-7 -> 2.88-8)
[09.24.2012 9:22] upgraded transmission-gtk (2.61-3 -> 2.61-4)
[09.24.2012 9:22] upgraded whois (5.0.18-1 -> 5.0.19-1)
In making this latest update pacman eject told me that was going to be replaced by util-linux ... before answering affirmatively check the official website of ArchLinux to see if there were any announcement about this change ... I assumed there was none like it was nothing critical and permitted the installation of this patch ....
At the end of the error message you see in the pictures I show that I can run a command or shortcut systemctl keyboard to enter the "default mode" but I have no way to give commands and keyboard shortcut does not work.
No I could do to recover the system (other than reinstalling ArchLinux with new. Iso) ...
Someone has spent the same??? found a solution???
Greetings and thanks in advance!
Sorry my bad English!

Where is the wrap tool located in the new release of Muse (Muse CC 2014)
I am unable to locate the wrap tool for the new release of Muse CC 2014. Could someone point me in the right direction?
If you can’t see it in the toolbar, you have to activate it in the windows-menu.

OCFS Linux Distribution confusion and planned production release
Hello, as far as I know are Oracle10g and Oracle9iR2.
supportet for SLES9. There is no support for RHEL4.
But up to now OCFS2 is developed for RHEL4.
Now I've 2 questions:
1. Will OCFS2 supported for SLES9?
2. When it's planned to release the production version of OCFS2?You are asking realy hard questions.
And I don't think there is a person who is able to give you specific answer. (maybe Mark Fasheh or 2.6 kernel maintener)
Anyway there was OCFS2 added to linux kernel (2.6.12-rc5-mm1) but it is not still stable version but it seems good and I hope it will become stable and included in stable linux kernel soon.
When the OCFS2 wil be included in stable version of kernel then all new distributions will be support it. And also Companies (such as Redhat and Suse) could backport the feature for old kernels and for old distributions.
Till (I sugest) use OCFS(1) on production systems. -
We are running LMS 4.2 as a linux virtual appliance. My staff is used to running LMS 3.2 under Windows. We currently have file shares to convenient places such as the IOS export directory and the directory where the most highly referenced log files are kept. I noticed that the normal tools I would use under Red Hat linux such as Samba and Midnight Commander for file access and Joe or Pico for text editing are not present and I don't know which distribution of Red Hat this is so I could try to point RPM to correct binary .rpm files to install them. Has anyone added any friendly tools to the LMS linux appliance?
Hi Patrick,
It's true that the SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT) is not shipped with SQL Server 2014 RTM DVD, and we need to download and install it from:

Linux & Solaris SDK missing from 10g release?
I have downloaded the both DVDs from:
http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/cs/htdocs/101102linuxsoft.html
However, I was only able to find the SDK materials for Macintosh.
For example, in the "Extras" DVD:
% ls Clients/Calendar/DeveloperPackage
Macintosh
In the main DVD:
% ls stage/Components/oracle.ocs.clients.download/10.1.1.0.2/1/DataFiles/Expanded/clientsdl/Calendar/DeveloperPackage/SDK
Macintosh
Where are the tools for Linux?
Thanks for your help!The Calendar SDK in part of the Oracle Universal
Installer package with 10g, so when you select
"calendar" as part of the installation, you have an
option for the SDK pacakage, including the
client-side libraries.I for one find the need to run the universal installer (which restricts itself to RHEL on linux for example) to be very annoying. What happened to posting the SDKs as a separate client download? Downloading and running the server installer just to get the SDK files as a developer is a huge waste of resources. -

do you know why there is no 3.2.0 release on official Eclipse Linux Tools archive page (http://archive.eclipse.org/linuxtools/) or who maintains this?
Thanks a lot,

Sai Harinithe Java process is having a communication issue with the ABAP stack. First 3 things I would look at:
1. is the ABAP stack up and running? The Java stack is checking for a user installed in the ABAP stack.
2. is sapgw00 service defined in the services file? should have been done by the installation, but I've seen this fail.
3. is host ISLLSOLM listening on the port defined as sapgw00? If this is not true, any number of things could be wrong.
