Lion and iPhoto 09. Please help!
I just installed Lion and lost all my pictures in the last two years in iPhoto 09. Please help! I know they are on my hard drive but it doesn't populate in iPhoto.

There were two iPhoto Libraries, the one that opened was the one in the desktop I am not quite sure why there would be two. I need to learn more about this

The highest OS X version you can install on your model iMac is OS X Lion 10.7.5.
To get to this! you would need to purchase the retail OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard DVD, first.

Iphone 4s and iPhoto problem - please help me!!

I have searched the discussion boards for an answer to my problem, but cant find one yet.
I have a brand new imac with Mavericks installed and up to date. My iphoto is the latest one according to the app store and I have ios7.0.3 on my iphone 4s.
I have about 300 photos on the iphone and i connected to the imac with a usb cable and it appeared as though all the photos were imported in the usual way, so i agreed to delete them off the iphone when prompted to do so.
However, the events for the appropriate dates have been created, but they are grey and all claim to have 0 photos in them.
When I look at last import, it says that the last import was the import I did a few days ago and appears to ignore the one I have just done.
Please can anyon help me find where my photos are in a simple way. I am getting very cross and frustrated. I have used macs for 7 years with no problems until this.
I would also add that my iphoto is very slow and regularly stops responding so that I have to force quit.

I did the repair and, thankfully, my missing photos are back.
However, I now have about 100 photos which are on my iPhone 4s camera roll and when I plug the phone in, it says that it has already imported them, but I can't find them in iPhoto!
I can see the pictures on the mac when the phone is plugged in and I look on the iphone, but I cant see where they are.
Do you think that having photostream has complicated matters at all?
Also, why does the photo stream on my phone (and ipad) show more photos than the photostream folder fir Nov 2013 in iphoto? Is there a delay in appearing in iphoto?
Finally, about 3 out of 5 times, iphoto becomes really slow and stops responding, requiring a force quit. Any ideas why this is and how to fix it?

I updated my iMac to Mountain Lion and when I want to fit my screen view... in the last version I had to examples where I could choose wide after format but I miss that function now in Mountain Lion. Can anyone please help me???
I'm sorry for my bad english, my problem is that I want the program I open in a new window to be avilable in full screen mode. Before I uppdated my os to Montaine Lion I could choose wide under screen in settings. I'll take an ex for you. When I play poker online I want to see the tabel in full screen but I don't manage to fix that. Do you Sir have any idea???

in my iPhoto library i have photos of web pages i don't know how they got there there are hundreds of them ,how do i get rid of them and stop them please help me as i have no idea many thanks
im sorry to be a bit thick here i didnt know this was happening until i looked through all my photoes i use an sd card to put pictures on lap top and icloud from my phone but in library there are all web pages i have ever been to ie face book ebay etc i didnt know if there was any thing i should be turning off many thanks for ur last answer though

Connect the two Macs together (network, firewire target mode, etc) and drag the iPhoto library intact as a single entity from the old Mac to the pictures folder of the new Mac - launch iPhoto on the new mac and it will open the library and convert it as needed and you will be ready move forward.

Did you get any help on this? From what I can see from surfing this site, it's a BUG that no one has offered a solution to. It sometimes happens after a 'reset' and going to ITunes does not offer a way to 'set up push notifications'.
