Running VM Fusion in Mac OSX Lion cannot install Adobe Flash player in windows VM
Here's my problem. I have installed VMFusion on my Macbook Pro running Lion VM uses Windows Home Premium 64bit . Windows runs fast and I've got no real complaints other than the usual Windows ones. However in my work as an insurance agent I have to use IE and therefore Windows. When I go to install adobe I get the following error message:
C:Users\Mitchell\Appdata\local\microsoft\windows\temporaryinternet files\content. IE5\5ho2079YI\install_reader10_en_air_gtba_aihl27.exe is not a valid Win32 application.
Help is greatly appreciated I'm at me wits end!!!!Please do the following
Run the flash player uninstaller mentioned in the below kb article.
http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html
Download the Adobe Flash Player installer directly by clicking one of the following links.
Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)
Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)
Save the installation file on to the desktop and right click and run as Administrator.

Hi
I'm having problems with the clicking on the Settings dialog in Flash with the beta 2 of FP11.
The ticket below claims that this issue has been fixed in the release version.
https://bugbase.adobe.com/index.cfm?event=bug&id=2918693
My question is that is the fix implemented in the beta too?
Cheers, BalazsYes it should be fixed in the Flash Player 11 Beta two release as well. You can confirm your version in use by visiting the below site or by right clicking on and flash content and looking at the version number at the bottom of the context menu.

Hi, can anybody help me please, i have upgraded from Mountain Lion to Mavericks, since then my Adobe flash player don't want to work.
I clicked on update and downloaded the update from Adobe and installed it.
Every time i get an error saying - "that this wasn't downloaded from App Store".
i can not find it in App Store.
What must i do?Try this: in your Utilities folder launch Adobe Flash Player Install Manager and run it to completely uninstall Flash. Then go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ and download Flash
Once downloaded, double-click to open it and run the installer. If you get a message saying the file can't be opened, or similar, Control+click or right click and select 'open' and should then be able to proceed to install it. -
After updating my system to Mountain Lion 10.8.2 I can no longer view videos on Facebook or other sites. The only one I can view videos on is youtube. I have downloaded Adobe Flash player and still no luck. I cannot even open Preview on my computer anymore. Any ideas would be helpful thanks
Merely clicking the Preview icon in the Dock doesn't cause it to open anything, unless you had one or more windows open the last time it quit.
If you're sure you've installed the latest version of Flash, take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. After each step, relaunch Safari and test.
1. If you're getting a "blocked plug-in" error, triple-click the line below to select it:
/Library/Internet Plug-Ins Right-click or control-click the highlighted text and select
Services ▹ Open
from the contextual menu. A folder should open. If there is more than one item in the folder with the words "Flash Player" (not "flashplayer") in the name, open the respective Info windows, check the version numbers, and delete all except the latest. You may be prompted for your login password. If you get the same error after doing that, re-download and reinstall Flash. Download it from this page:
Adobe - Install Adobe Flash Player
Never download a Flash update from anywhere else.
2. If you get a "missing plug-in" error, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Security
from the Safari menu bar and check the box marked Enable plug-ins.
3. Select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Extensions
from the Safari menu bar. If any extensions are installed, disable them.
4. In the Safari preference window, select
Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data
Close the window. Then select
▹ System Preferences… ▹ Flash Player ▹ Advanced
and click Delete All. Close the preference pane. -
How can i install adobe flash player on my i mac OSX lion
I just bought an I mac that runs on OSX 10.7.2 lion and cannot install Adobe flash player 10,0. I need it for looking to Youtube videos
Can anybody help me?
CharlesThe latest version of Adobe FlashPlayer can be obtained from here:
http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFl ash
You can check here what version of Flash player you actually have installed: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/155/tn_15507.html
You can check here: http://www.adobe.com/products/flash/about/ to see which version you should install for your Mac and OS. Version 11.0.1.152 onwards is for Lion.
You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):
http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/909/cpsid_90906.html
and also that you follow the instructions closely, such as closing ALL applications first before installing. You must also carry out a permission repair after installing anything from Adobe. -
Adobe flash player and mountain lion problems
I've just upgrded from Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion and now find that I'm getting messages (TVcatchup) asking for Adobe Flash player although I appear to have successfully installed version 11.3. In other sites I'm asked to install Java although I understood Mountain Lion to contain a Javea equivalent. Any clues out there please?
Sorry guys. I discovered that Safari / Preferences / Security tab I had the 'enable plug - ins' unchecked. I checked it and it solved the problem.
Hope it helps - took me a couple of days before I found it by chance (thrashing around!) -

Hello- I recently upgraded to OS Mountain Lion on my iMac and cannot download the most current version of Adobe Flash Player. I even uninstalled the old Flash version but this did not resolve the issue. Could somebody please assist? Thank you.
Hello- I was able to resolve the issue after clicking on the top right hand corner that shows the recent downloads (it has that down arrow). I realized that I had tried downloading the Adobe Flash Player Install Manager about 7 times, but still needed to click on the file and install! So I erased all the duplicates and installed one of the Flash Player Install Managers and it finally worked! Yay!

I can't watch YouTube videos on my brand new MacBook Pro with Lion. It says I need to download Adobe Flash Player but that won't install. Help!
The same thing happens to me, Safari asks me to update the Adobe FlasPlayer, I download, start the installation process, ask me my username and password in order to install, then see a window where I choose if I want to always install the updates , or ask first, or not inslate updates, and at this point it is not progress, I can not cancel the process, I turn off and turn on my machine.
What can I do ..??

Adobe Flash Player in Lion OS X 10.7
Since installing Lion, I am unable to click anything inside the adobe flash player settings box when trying to integrate my webcam in websites that use this technology. For my work, this is a functionality i need, which works just like you see in Chatroulette, etc. Adobe released a Known Issues article, but does anyone know when they are going to fix this??
http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/905/cpsid_90508.html#main_Flash_PlayerI've seen in some discussions that Adobe CS5 programs arent working either and that a Java update will make them work. Anyone know if this will do the same for Adobe Flash Player?
