LIS actuals to CO-PA

Hello
I want to move an actual value (number of order lines) from LIS into CO-PA value field VV550. I have tried a number of ways, but don't seem to be able to do this. Ultimately this will be a tracing factor for apportionment of overhead costs.
Any ideas, hints, tips or traps would be appreciated.

You don't have to tell me the whole answer... I don't want a configuration document or anything of the sort... just a hint or two...
As I just can't believe there is no elegant way to do this using configuration and not code.

Process an action even if the start condition is no longer fulfilled?

System: SAP CRM 5.0
Background
Using an action in the action profile we want to be able to send a reminder to the person responsible for a service transaction at a specific date. The person responsible should himself be able to maintain the date at which he should receive the reminder. Therefore we have added a new date type, zreminder_date, in the date profile where it is possible to manually enter the date at which the reminder should be sent.
The actions are processed using a selection report which is run in a batch-job each night. The action has a start condition: zreminder_date = Todays Date, i.e. the reminder should be sent when the reminder date equals todays date.
Problem
As long as the batch-job is run each day we have not encountered any problems. However, if for any reason the batch-job is cancelled and can only be run the next day we dont know how to process actions where the start condition is no longer fulfilled. Can we for example force actions for specific dates to be processed afterwards?

Actually My requirement is also similar to your process.
I have to send a reminder mail to particular manager one month before contract end date.
For ex: Contract start date: toda's date,
Contract end date : startdate+12 months
reminder date: one month befroe end date.
so I have to send reminder mail.
My problem is I don't know how to set the process in background.
I have takn the condition : reminder date= Today's date.
For time being I have tested the similar scenarion :
start date: toda's date
end date : start date+2 days.
reminder date: end date- one day
that means If I create the contract today ,my mail should trigger tomorrow.
But I couldn't send the mail .
please help me how to put this process in background .

Production Report - Reference BOM, PO BOM and Actual Consumption

Hi everyone,
I´m looking for some standard report that shows the quantity and cost based on the Bill of Material and the actual quantity consumed in Production Order.
When the production order is created, the BOM is copied to the order, but the materials and quantities could be changed before production.
Reports like KOC4 compares the actual consumed quantity with the planned quantities from Production Order, not from the original BOM.

There is no such standard report in my opinion. You can develop it based on below logic
1. Read bom number from Prod order
2. Read components of bom from STPO table
3. Actual qty consumed can be fetched from LIS tables like S03* or from mseg/mkpf or Corp

Hi all,
My Sales Cycle is Sales Order --> Delivery --> PGI --> Invoice --> and Accounting.
When we do the PGI GOGS account entries will generate,
When we do the Invoice Revenue and customer account entries will generate.
Now my customer wants to see the total Actual cost as well as total revenues in a single report (Sales order wise).
Is there any Standard report availble for this?????

Credit memo value Is not updating in a LIS

Hi All,
My Problem Is O am Creating a credit memo by using the billing Document Directly, with out using any return order,Return delivery. When I am seeing in the LIS Its not showing the Actual Credit memo Value for that customer its showing Zero value. I have done all the Settings for LIS.Pls Let me know is there any specific Setting in the LIS for getting the credit memo value in LIS Report.

Check with transaction code 'MCVV' as to which all info-structures are being updated.
Check the stats groups are correctly assigned to the sales document, header, item and the billing document is Relevant to Statistics

Lis--Updating cannot be tramnsported to another system

Hi All,
am very new to BW. I am having problems to extract LIS info to BW.
read all the mails in SDN on LIS extraction.
IN txn MC24 when i am trying to update my info structure i am getting the message
"Updating cannot be transported to another system"
in log i saw it asks me
"The info structure S998 has the development class $TMP and therefore cannot be transported. For this reason updating definitions for info structure S998 cannot be transported to another systems.
Procedure
It is possible to transport the update rules to another client in the same system.
If you still want to transfer the info structure, call up the function transport features in the info structure maintenance (transaction MC22) and change the development class.
when i went to MC22 and went to "Create object directory entry"...
i see package as $tmp so had selected local object...was the above problem due to it...
If i have to create another package then what do i have to do and what transport layer should i put"
hoping to get some reply. Am very confused with this LIS and LO extractions . Spend a lot of time in tryong to understand it.

In the past two weeks I did a bit of research but not to much avail. I noticed I had the "Locale Switcher" add on installed, and deactivated it. Switching languages in the "Languages" tab of "Add-ons" still did not work (yes, I restarted every time). I installed the "'''Quick Locale Switcher''' 1.7.4" extension (yes, I restarted), and it displays a number of locales in the "Tools" menu; still choosing one has no effect (yes, I restarted).
Then I juggled with Quick Locale Switchers "options", which actually displayed in Esperanto (so I cannot tell you what they say in English). I check the first one (saying more or less that locale switching should affect the user interface) and switched to German (yes, I restarted) -- and '''it worked'''! I switched to Esperanto -- and Firefox went to ... English!
After a lot of searching in the Web I found on "[https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/esperanto-language-pack/ https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/esperanto-language-pack/]" that this pack is "'''Not available for Firefox 3.6.16'''". That might explain something (not everything); probably I lost my language when I upgraded from 3.5 to 3.6.

i cant copy the updation rules as its not updating the extra fields so how to do this things

Please first check with the basic settings for the LIS updation whether they are maintained.

(Old) LIS in (new) R/3 4.7 (Enterprice) & BW 3.5, a pain in the b...

Yep it's LIS again. Unfortunately I could not find the answer the our specific issue on the forum (nor at SAP-Help).
We are using the (old) LIS structures S001, S011, S013 & S015 in a R/3 v. 4.7 (latest plugins) & BW 3.5 Environment (as there are no LO-Cockpit structures for these LIS infostructures).
Al the info found on the forum are Setup (Configuration) manuals and info for Older R/3 versions (4.6 and lower).
In 4.7 the LIS (and LO-Cockpit) Infostructures & Datasources are part of the Business content (as we think...). Most of the usual Config-steps (like the BW connection) for LIS do not work for S001, S013 & S015 (at least it does not work here...). Strangly they still work for S011.
Actually some tables in older R/3 environments (as mentioned in the manuals) like the S5nnBIW1/2 does not exist anymore in 4.7.
Anyone any idea or information what SAP has done with these LIS structures (S001, S013 & S015) in 4.7?
And what is still needed to setup and use these Structures (and how)?

What I have found is that you (at least) have to do in 4.7 is to check note: 115192 (we need to implement it).
115192:
Symptom
The data contents of the key fields within the 'delta tables' SnnnBIW1 or SnnnBIW2 are 'corrupt'. Therefore a delta update from structures of the logistics information system is not possible although the environment necessary for this is set up. During the update, SQL error 804 or error M2022 can occur.
In Transaction LBW0 (linking LIS information structures to SAP-BW), error M+040
"The LIS environment is set up incorrectly."
with long text (documentation) - Error occurred when checking the LIS environment.
The order of the information structure key fields differs from the one in delta table SnnnBIW1.
Occurs when displaying the settings for a SAP (LIS & LO-Cockpit, etc.) information structure.
Cause and prerequisites
This is caused by an incorrect sequence of key fields in the delta tables SnnnBIW1 and SnnnBIW2.
Solution
Change the sequence of key fields in the Data Dictionary (Transaction SE11) in the delta tables so that it corresponds to the sequence of the Snnn table in question (for example: the sequence of the tables S260BIW1 and S260BIW2 must be identical with the sequence of table S260) (The message M2 369 'Generated object! Use maintenance of info structure (MC22).' can be ignored). Then activate the delta tables.
This note is a prerequisite for the use of the delta function of the
·     SD transfer structures S260 to S264
        (S264 as of PI-99),
·     SD standard InfoStructures S001 to S006,
·     standard infostructure in Purchasing S013
        in all R/3 Releases.

I have checked off Use Checkboxes and all boxes except Cross-fund and Cross-grant. The option 'Update All CO LIs" radio button to ensure all CO postings integrate back into the FI module documentation states;
Indicator:   Update All CO Line Items to FI Causes all CO line items that are generated with CO-internal allocations to be transferred into Financial Accounting. In this way, Controlling is reconciled with Financial Accounting.
Use   Setting this indicator can produce an undesirably large number of documents in Financial Accounting. SAP therefore recommends setting the indicator for test purposes only.
Would I really use this?   Anybody know how much undesirably large number of documents are produced?

Generating a forecast in LIS Planning

Hi,
LIS Planning issue - really stuck and would appreciate any help.
Created new infostructure to hold forecast and demand plan, with new planning type against it.
Copied sales history into sales order qty key figure.
Used macro to copy this data over to Sales Forecast key figure.
Created Activity "prognose" to generate future forecast in Sales Forecast key figure.
Problem - no forecast is being generated - SAP states (when I run the forecast interactively) that there is no historical data available - yet if I SE16 the infostructure I can see the data in the past.
Can't see where SAP is told to look for the historical data - made assumption that it uses the field it is forecasting, but this makes little sense as an ex-post forecast will generally use sales as it's basis, and forecast in a different key figure.
Am I missing something fundamental? Are there any LIS planning experts out there who can help a desperate man?

Is this in Flexible Planning. Did you do a OLI7 to set up the info. structure? Execute with &("n" redetermine update groups, update documents, terminate 24 hrs. from start and give 99999 as faulty documents. When done then copy that version to 000 and then to any other version you want to create. if you did all of that already make sure your forecast profile goes back the correct number of weeks that you need. Did you set up a key figure in the planning type with an update rule to pick up actual sales and previous year sales?

Update COPA Sales Planning with LIS informations

Dear all,
I´d like to know if it´s possible to update the COPA planning with the information in the LIS tables.
My company already introduced the Sales Planning in the LIS system and now it´s required to reply this information in COPA tables. Of course, it´s possible to do it directly in COPA using the plannification tools, however I´ve reading that it´s possible to transfer data from LIS to COPA directly with a short customizing task.
Please, could you inform me about this process?

Hi,
You can transfer actual data from LIS to CO-PA using mass processing (MC8G).
1. For a mass processing job, make sure you run the 3 steps in the attached note 90292. Program RMCAMUS6 updates the LISPLF table with the PLOBJs (planning objects) of items to be processed. If this job is not run, table LISPLF is empty and you will get error MA367.
2. Make sure you have specified future and historical periods in your planning type (MC8B).
3. Make sure you have data in the infostructure and materials in the characteristics.
There is also additional information that could be interesting for you in the notes 80881 and 156972.

Changes to Purchasing 02HDR datasource (LIS)

Hello people
I have added some field to the 02 HDR datasource using append in SBIW. The fields are in the table for headers (EKKO) and are filled with data so i thought this would be very simple.
We use LIS to extract and even though the fields are in the header table (payment terms and a few others) they are still not coming through with data when extraction takes place after filling set up tables.
Do i need to do anything in LBWE or should it be ok just in datasource in SBIW.
Maybe i need to do the change in LBWE instead on in the actual data source???
I have replicate dand done all the normal thing? coud it be process keys or something???

     You've done right from your side. But a little bit of coding should be done on the R/3 end too. A user exit should be coded inorder to get the fields populated in the system. there is an exit provided for all the extractors. EXIT_SAPLRSAP_001 is the exit in which you have an include program ZXRSAU01. Herein we should be doing the coding for the extractor. I am including a sample code for reference.

Hello Guru,
The Setup table is used mainly for storing the Historical data whereas the new and changed records will be maintained in the Update table.
By storing the Historical data in the setup table you don't need to disturb the Application table anymore.

LIS Update Problem

I have a problem with LIS reporting which i am not able to rectify . Its a Automotive business, we have 3 order types, ZCKD, ZCBU for Vehicles and ZSPT for Spare parts. All three have same item category YTAN and item category strategic group 1, also all three order types are assigned to order type strategic group 1. All there order types uses same customer and in all customer strategic group 1 is assigned, All materials of CKD, CBU, and Spares have strategic group 1. All assignment at header and item level are done for all sales areas.
Problem is that in LIS reports CKD and CBU values are updating successful but for spare parts even after almost 1000 order it is only shows the Customer name, material sold dates, but no value, all the values are 0, I have checked S001 to S001 in Se16 and for all the spare parts material values are 0. I have done checked at header level and item level update in customizing but it is showing no error, I am not able to find the reason, I also made another order type copied from OR and new spare Part material, and new customer but still no result. Please guide if I am missing something or doing something wrong.
I have also executed Oli7 , 8 ,9 , but no result. I hope I have stated the problem clearly.

LIS
The LIS is a central integrated information system where one can create specific tables that are updated at specific stages and that can be used to report on values contained in specific fields. SAP has standard information structures for reporting purposes. The std info structures can be accessed via: LOSDSISStandard analysis. The reports use the following characteristics: customer, material, sales org, shipping point, sales employee, and sales office.

The Logistics data warehouse is divided into two main sections: data basis and updating. Data basis is responsible for the actual design of the info structure, that is, what key fields are reported on or displayed. Updating is responsible for the updating rules used by the system, determining how the info structure is to be updated, and when this updating is to take place.
Task 1: Create Self-Defined Information Structure
Use transaction code MC21 (menu path Logistics Data Warehouse>Data Basis>Information Structures>Maintain self-defined information structures> Create) to create a Self-Defined Information Structure. Give a customer-range number 990 (any available number between 501 and 999). To make it easier, use copy from to copy structure from S001.
Task 2: Maintain Update Groups
SIS IMG>Logistics Data Warehouse>Updating>Updating Definition>General Definition Using Update Groups>Maintain Update Groups
You can use the existing system-delivered update groups. Use Update Group (UpdGrp) 1 for the standard order process of: SIS: Sales Document, Delivery, Billing Document and use UpdGrp 2 for the SIS: Returns, Returns Delivery, Credit Memo.
Task 3: Maintain Update Rules
SIS IMG>Logistics Data Warehouse>Updating>Updating Definition>Specific definition using Update Rules>Maintain Update Rules>Create Create (transaction code MC24). To make it easier, use copy from to copy update rules from S001.
Please make sure the Source information is properly updated for all the characteristics. Since you copied the rules, the sales order and item rules are defaulted too. Make sure appropriate changes are made for events VC (delivery) and VD (Invoice).
Task 4: Maintain Statistics Groups
Maintain Statistics Groups
Maintain Statistics Groups for Customers, Materials, and SD Document Types etc. Most of the pre-defined settings are enough. Make sure that settings are updated for customized objects too, e.g., SD document types for your organizations.
Also, make sure that the customer (sales view) and material Master records are updated with appropriate Statistics Groups.
Maintain Statistics Groups for Customers, Material and Sales documents. Assign Statistics Groups for relevant Sales Document Type, item type, delivery type, item type, Determine Billing Document Types Relevant to Statistics.
Update Customer Master for Statistics Relevancy
Transaction Code XD02 (Sales view, field Cust stats.Grp)
Update Material for Statistics Relevancy
Transaction Code MM02 (Sales 2 view, field Matl statistics grp)
Task 5: Assign Update Groups to Header and Item Levels
Assign Update Groups on Header and Item levels
For combinations of Sales Area (Sales Org, Distribution Channel, Division), assign Update groups (transaction codes OVRO and OVRP).

Last update our SIS structure S677 with period as Month and update option of Asynchronous Updating (2).

Please help me on LIS structure

I am using SAP 4.0b.
Actually I began to implemented some customized LIS (Logistic Info Structure).
I want a LIS that contain last date of every movement type every year plus the material document and item and year.
I create my own info structure S942. Here is the step and the problem issue :
1. I create Field Catalog (ZGRD)for grouping application
   41 (logsitic general), the field are :
   MCMSEG MATNR
   MCMSEG BWART
2. I create my iwn LIS S942 application 41 (logistic
   general)
   a. I choose the characteric gtom ZGRD above and select
      MCMSEG MATNR and MCMSEG BWART
   b. I choose my key figure.
      <b>Here is the issue arise. I found posting date of
      the document, but i can't find the material doc no,
      material doc year and matereial doc item which i
      need.</b>
Please help me regading this issue.
