LIS Init load successfull but delta not successfull

Hi all,
I am using MCVBAK table for my LIS extraction. After creating IS S511 and generating my data source, I have replicated the data source in BW. Then I did the necessary steps to create the cube and infopackage. In the update tab while creating infopackage I selected the radio buttion Initialize update and started the load. When I go to monitor I find that the load is successfull but it says only 1 from 1 records.
Why is it so? Why are the remaining 3158 records not getting uploaded to BW?
Also please let me know how to correct a failed init upload and a failed delta upload?

Hi Tristan,
You are getting this message because, your datasource already contains Initializations. It is not an error. If you want to delete your previous Initialization...
1. Goto the Infopackage
2. In the Menu, select Schedule -> Initializations options for the source system
3. Select the particular Initilization and delete.
FYI : We can have a mulitple Initilization for different Data Selection to the same Datasource. For eg, Assume that you are pulling sales data for years 2002 to 2006 (you should have 0calyear as data selection), then You can create mulitple Initilzations..
1. Goto InfoPackage, Data Selection Tab,
2. For 0calday InfoObject input 2002 and go to Updata Tab select Initilazation of Delta and Schedule.
3. Again goto Data Selection Tab, Input 2003 to 2004 for 0calday and Initialize and so on..
4. Now goto Schedue->Initialization options for source system, you will find all your Initializations..

Full load works, but delta fails - "Error in the Extractor"

We are using datasource 3FI_SL_ZZ_SI (Special Ledger line items) to load a cube, and are having trouble with the delta loads. If I run a full load, everything runs fine. If I run a delta load, it will initially fail with an error that simply states "Error in the Extractor" (no long text). If I repeat the delta load, it completes successfully with 0 records returned. If I then rerun the delta, I get the error again.
I've run extractions using RSA3, but they work fine - as I would expect since the full loads work. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find why the deltas aren't working. After searching the Forums, I've tried replicating the datasource, checked the job log in R/3 (nothing), and run the program RS_TRANSTRU_ACTIVATE_ALL, all to no avail.
Any ideas?

Yes, it appears this is what the problem was. I'd been running the delta init without data transfer, and it was failing during the first true delta run. Once I changed the delta init so that it transferred data, the deltas worked fine. This was in our development system. I took a look in our production system where deltas have been running for quite some time, and it turns out the delta initialization there was done with data transfer.

PSE 12 and PE 12 says loaded sucessfully - but will not run it says my "trial has expired" ?

I bought a DVD from Amazon .
Both products say they loaded properly. But I can not get past the Welcome screen. Both apparently got registered properly. But it now insists my trial is over so buy another copy!
Obviously this is a simple retail pack bought on a DVD.
I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it 3 times - once even going back to an earlier restore point. Once PSE opened. But when I closed it down and configured it to always open not on the Welcome screen but on the Editor, From then on the shortcut wouldn't even open the Welcome screen - and I had to reinstall it..
I can only think somehow, when it activated itself with my serial number it now thinks it is an expired trial version - and Yes I am on WIndows [saw posts claiming some people got the Mac serial no's]
I have seen a few forum posts about this - but no way to fix it.
I just came to realise Photoshop is a great product - well version 9 was. But Adobe has THE WORST SUPPORT INFRASTRUCTURE that i have ever seen .
I think it is a deliberate ploy to lose a customer in a labarynth of semi relevant online questions; only to dump you at the end into a Forum like this, where basically its up to the generosity of existing users to help you.
Well that is a smart way to avoid hiring trained people for a proper support department.
So I need help any ideas?
Do you think if i return it to Amazon and get a replacement this would work?
The irony is I only bought Version 12; because my old copy of PSE and PE Version 9 came bundled and preloaded with my Sony Vaio Laptop. As there is no way to see the serial number of these products once installed and Sony are unable to give me one because it was factory installed! Yep 8 emails and 3 months later I gave up. Mental note never buy any preloaded software from Sony.
As I always felt vunerable because of this; eg say the program needed reloading; I could not do it without a valid serial number. So seeing the special offer, I thought well now is the time for safetys sake to put myself in a position where if I had a problem; then at least I could reinstall the product. Plus get the benefits of the upgrade.
So instead of improving my position; I have ended up, unsupported, and with no running application! And with no support from Adobe - pretty much no way of resolving it.
Unless some kind person on this forum know how it is done?
Been up all night till 6.46 am trying to solve it .
So if I do not post a quick reply it is not because I am not interested - just exhuasted - and so fed up!

Movieclips loader loads png but does not display image in ie

hello, i have created a static class to deal with the loading
of images, it works great. yesterday, i found an issue: i try to
load png files (those pngs are generated with quasimondo's bitmap
exporter), they do load, but they are not displayed in ie.
it worked until recently. is there some specification about
the png that i have to make sure that the png has? or is there an
issue using the movieclip loader with ie?
i included the actionscript class (save the code in an .as
file), so if you want to test, write only this in the first frame
of your code:

that image will load, but in the context of my flash file
where many many files are loaded at the same time, only the block
generated by the bitmap exporter will not show.

cancel that question. i ftp'd the file to the server again, this time setting the transfer type to binary and the png image comes up
just like it should.

Class loaded successfully but still not found

I am facing a problem in instatntiating a class inside the oracle jvm. My
java class "SimpleQueueSender" has a function named "prashant" which I am
calling from PL/SQL using the following wrapper

This function "prashant" internally uses a class
"com/sun/jndi/fscontext/RefFSContextFactory" which is there in
fscontext.jar. I have loaded my class "SimpleQueueSender" as well as
"fscontext.jar" using loadjava into the oracle database. Following excerpts
show that the class "com/sun/jndi/fscontext/RefFSContextFactory" has been
loaded into the oracle database and is valid also

Hi Prashant,
It's been a few days since you posted, and have not yet received
any replies, so with your permission, I'll make a wild guess.
Perhaps one of the class that "RefFSContextFactory" depends on
(in order to instantiate it) is invalid? Remember, sometimes the
error messages don't really point to the cause of the problem,
so I suggest looking elsewhere.
By the way, have you tried running your java code outside of the
database -- to make sure the problem is not in your code?

Trying to load PSE13 but do not see redemption code or serial

Trying to load newly purchased DVD of PSE13 but neither redemption code or serial # seem to be on either the box or the DVD sleeve. No insert was in the box. HELP!

How can I get Firefox 3.0 to work as a browser on my iBook G4 with OS10.3.9 so I can work my Hotmail email account? The download loads OK but will not open to a browser page when I double click on it. Tom.

Have been using Firefox 2.0 just fine for years. But now stupid Windows Live Hotmail has made it impossible for me to "use" my email, such as doing Bcs or Attaching something, or even typing new text in the message box. Hotmail tells me I have to update my Firefox browser. But updating to Firefox 3.0 due my OS system limits does not now allow me to open onto the internet even after a successful download of 3.0. Tom.

Mackbook will get to loading screen but will not load

hello, my mackbook whenever i tturn it on will go to the gray loading screen and just stop. it looks like it is trying to load but it doesn't. Help please!

The same thing happened to me too, yesterday. I think the hard drive is probably shot, which is what you said also, so what did you do to your computer? Did you install a new hard drive? That's what I'm thinking of doing, and if you did, where did you get the new hard drive and how much was it?

Media Encoder has loaded project but does not Encode

I'm working on a large project (60minutes long). I'm ready to export. The project takes about half hour to load into AME but it doesnt go any further. It says Encoding on the status but the que time is yet to start. An hour later stil no change.
I tryed multiple formats and resolutions no change.
Why is this and how do i resolve the issue?
Windows 7 Beta 32bit build 7100
PPro cs4 v4.1.0
2.8 ghz quad core
4gb ram
ati radeon 3600 256mb

Update. I left AME to encode overnight and it actually started to encode. It got to 1:51seconds of encoding and then went no further. Any help with this people, the deadline is Friday and im lost for ideas

ITunes loads/plays but is not visible

I've been having this problem for a week now, or so. For some reason, my iTunes will load up, and the EQ will appear, but the main screen with my playlists/songs/etc. doesn't show up. If i hit the space bar, a song will play, and if I hit the arrow keys it will cycle through songs, but the playlist simply isn't visible on the screen, even if I select "Bring All to Front".
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes, but it made no difference.
Any ideas? Thanks!

I've had this once.
The iTunes window was just outside the visible part of the desktop.
The solution was to switch the screen resolution or the number of colors.
Go to System Preferences>Displays>Display.
Switch resolution or colors. This will force the windows to re-align.
Then switch back to your original display settings.

Cisco SA 520W set up for load balancing but traffic not routing properly?

Forgive me cause my networking skills are a bit rusty. So we have an SA520W that sits in-between both of our ISP connections. One connection is 4 bonded T-1s and the other is a shared 50/20. I have configured the SA520W with the optional port set to load balancing. I set the protocol bindings to be HTTP and HTTPS to go over the optional WAN which is the 50/20 yet when I do speedtests I am getting very mixed results. Sometimes it reflects that I am on the 50/20 and other times I just get 5 down and 5 up. and then other times it is a mix between the two, like 5 down 15 up.
It is just weird. I don't understand am I missing some other protocols I need to bind other than HTTP and HTTPS? It isn't just speed tests either I have noticed some weird web page loading issues as well. You can go to a page and it loads really fast and then later on...

Firefox 4 and 5 load fine but will not start. I have done all the things it says in help including removing the firfox items in the Proceses tab but it still will not run.

I am having a similar problem. Running Xp.
Latest revision of firefox.
After using firefox for a while if I exit, parent.lock is locked and i have to reboot to reload firefox.
I have killed all firefox applications from task manager (usually there are none). and I have tried 3 different "file unlock" programs including unlocker to no avail.
I also recently installed a program that shows -all- open files, and parent.lock is not listed, and thus not closable/unlockable from there.

My ipod is frozen on a screen that has a loading symbol but its not moving

I left the iPhone connected to my iMac and it eventually restored to factory settings and then downloaded my last backup from the computer back to the iPhone.
A few things are different but it appears to be 95% the same.
