I've got a problem with my iPod touch 4th generation. I paid for it almost 500$ and now I can't install anything because apps are available only for iOS 7.

Starting when iOS 7 was released, Apple now allows downloading the last compatible version of some apps (iOS 4.2.1 and later only)

You first have to download the non-compatible version on your computer. Then when you try to purchase the version on your iPod you will be offered a compatible version if one exists.

Can't sync app to ipod touch 4th gen

I purchased the Home Run Battle 2 app for my ipad, ipod touch and iphone. The app will sync to all devices except to the ipod touch (4th gen). I tried this using my iMac through iTunes. Then, I also tried to get it from the ipod touch by searching for it in the app store and installing, but when I touch the OPEN button, nothing happens. I also tried dragging the app to the device while in iTunes and it won't take. Any suggestions?

So if you go into the app store, on your ipod, and go to the app's page, does it gives you the option to "open" or ? You kind of lost me with "go to the app store to get it". I thought you had gone there before and it said open?
If you go into settings >> general >> usage, is the app listed there? If it is, click the app, then click delete app. Then go back into the app store on the ipod and try to redownload it from the app store.
You could also try to search for the app on your ipod, if you can't find the icon, by swiping all the way to the left.
Also, how many pages do you have on your ipod? I think it maxes out at 11.

Unable to sync certain apps on ipod touch (4th gen)

Hi, I have recently been having problems syncing my ipod touch (4th gen) after upgrading to the latest itunes and iOS. Music seems to go on fine, however certain apps will not install. Some will go on eventually if I keep on trying, however modern combat 3 which I recently bought, will not install at all. I've tried several fixes now, turning off genius, my antivirus and firewall, even restoring my ipod. I also have Windows 8 if that makes a difference. I hoped iTunes 11 would fix the problems but unfortunetely it hasn't. I used to get error messages saying that an internal error has occurred, however on iTunes 11 nothing comes up, and the sync keeps looping without completing, unless i untick the box to not install modern combat. Is there anything I might have missed?

Try deleting the app and redownloainf it and then try syncing.
Then try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

Buying an ipod touch(4th Gen) 32GB as a gift. looking at Belkin USB power adapter chargers. they have 1 AMP or 2.1 AMP. which would be apprpriate or would they both work?

They will both work with iPod Touch. If you want to use it with an iPad also, then you must get the 2.1 amp.

You appear to be stuck on iOS 4.2.1. That means up really have a 2G iPod. A real 3G can go to 5.1.1

Iso7 for iPod touch 4th gen

I have a fourth generation iPod touch and can't download iso 7. Is there a reason why it is unavailalbe for 4th gen iPod touch?
I have seen it available for iPhones from 4th gen to the latest, 5s & 5c.

the iphone 4 also only has 256mb of ram. It is because apple wants you to upgrade the hardware. In my opinion iOS 7 would run too slow on the itouch 4G anyway because it is ery sluggish on the iphone 4.

How do I get a refund for Goat Simulator for Ipod Touch 4th Gen?

I decided I wanted to buy Goat Simulator so I bought it and downloaded it. I opened the app and when it got to the loading screen it would close and go back to the home screen after about 30 seconds of loading. I figured out that this app isn't supported on Ipod 4th gen even though it let me download it. I want to get a refund so I can spend my money on something else. Any help will be appreciated.

First of all, stop her using the iPod while the glass is broken.
Regardless of whether the iPod works fine, the damage was caused by the drop. This is classified accidental damage and is not covered under the warranty.
Depending on your region the price of Out of Warranty repair varies. Take the iPod into an Apple Retail Store or an Authorised Service Provider and they will give you the correct pricing for this.

Won't sign with apple id to updates apps via ipod touch 4th gen

When click on update tab in app store it says
"you are not signed in. To view purchases, you must sign in with your apple id"

Then comes up with sign in place. After entering password, it returns to same message.

I doubt the SN is the same since they are unique to the hardware but that should not have any effect.
Have you tried going to Settings>Store and sign out of the exisiting accont and then sign back in.
Also try resetting the iPod, noting will be lost.

I am getting error 2330? when trying to connect
ipod to sync or trying to update Itunes on my windows computer. Finally uninstalled Quicktime and Itunes on computer, now I have No Itunes on computer and a nonfunctioning empty (reset) Ipod touch... I've tried to update multiple times, uninstalled...On Ipod have soft reset, erased and done full reset, tried to restore ipod from cloud and it gave me an error that it could not be restored from the cloud. That one's consistent with disk/file damage. The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.

Windows 7 instructions in the following document: How to use CHKDSK (Check Disk)
Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards?
