List Box doesn't appear in Spreadsheet

I have many other fields in a form that I Reader-enabled, but only the List Box fails to appear. To test it alone, I created a new form with only a list box. I Reader-enabled it and then selected one of the items and saved the form. Then in Acrobat X Pro, I merged that file into a spreadsheet. All that appears is the name of the PDF. There is no column heading for the object and the selected value does not appear. Does the list box work at all? And from this sequence of steps, what am I missing?
I'm interested in using the List Box as a preferable alternative to a series of checkboxes. I get values for those, but each checkbox value appears in a separate column in a spreadsheet, which makes for more scanning horizontally. I thought that with a List Box, I could let a user grab a couple of values, which would then be displayed in one column and that would suit my purposes admirably.
Is this sort of plan something that will work in LC ES2?

I just unchecked "Allow Multiple Selection" and the form worked normally. Is there a workaround so that I can save multiple values for one List Box object?

Save/open dialog box doesn't appear

Hi,
I have something strange. I can open and edit a project by double clicking on it, also start a new project. But when I want to save or open a project via "save as" of "open project" the dialog box doesn't appear. Saving an existing file trough "ctrl+s" works.
Things I tried already are:
- Restart my computer (windows)
- Clear my AE cache
- Reinstal AE
Has anyone has this before? It would be great if it got solved because I can't complete work because of it.

LiveCycle 8.1 on Vista: dropdown list box doesn't show all values

On Vista Business O/S, in LiveCycle 8.1, I am using a dropdown list for 254 items, not dynamically loaded (all values are declared in the definition of the object). When the form runs, the dropdown list appears. I can scroll through the list. Dreamweaver CS4 - Update Template Files dialog box doesn't appear

I've just made a small change to my website's template file in Dreamweaver CS4, but I can't figure out how to apply the change to all pages on my site.
As I understand it, a dialog box is supposed to appear immediately after you hit 'Save'. This gives you 'Update' or 'Don't Update' options.
The box does not appear for me. No idea why - I saved the revised template and nothing happened!
Is there another way of updating the webpage files with the revised template? Or can it only be done though the dialog box? If so, how can I bring the box up?

Well, I'm not sure what rule I've broken. I followed the procedure set out in that tutorial to make my template in the first place, although I used Janine Warner's book 'Teach yourself Dreamweaver CS4' which goes through the same steps as the web tutorial - with the exception of the 'Apply your Dreamweaver template' section, which seems to suggest that you create your web pages first, and turn them into templates later.
I simply created my basic page layout, saved it as a template, and then created every page on my site by clicking 'New from template'. No problems, everything worked well.
I don't see why it would be necessary to create a new page from a template, and then apply the template to the page. Doesn't that amount to using two different methods to do the same thing twice? In any case, there's nothing in the book about 'Applying' a template, so I didn't do it. That's the only point of difference. But is it the problem? Is the book wrong?
Now I've got the book open in front of me at page 196 - 'Edit a template to update web pages created with it'. Interestingly, I may have discovered why it was not possible to edit my link in the Property Inspector.
The book remarks, more or less as an afterthought tacked on to the end of the page, that in order to use the Property Inspector to edit a template, I must first click on the element I wish to edit and then click 'Modify', 'Templates', and 'Make Attribute Editable'. Only then can changes be made.
The book says nothing about editing elements *without* using the Property Inspector, as I attempted when I tried the 'Insert Hyperlink' method, so I'm not sure whether this is possible or not. As it didn't work for me, I'd say not - but it would be nice if the book was specific on this point!
It's amazing how vague some of these tutorials can be - and also rather baffling that they can differ so much from each other. Website construction is all about specifics after all - everything is either 100% right, or 100% wrong. There shouldn't be any room for fuzziness. As it seems I have a specific problem, it must come from a specific, identifiable cause. It should be possible to say, "Ah, now if THAT is going wrong, the error must be HERE. Fix it by doing THIS."
Well, I'll try making the attributes of my elements editable now. I'm not sure if a text link counts as an element (that's another point on which my book is a little vague), but I dare say I'll find out shortly!

Value of Multiple-Selection List box is not appearing "calculated value" field of it

We have created one selection list box using control "Multiple Selection List Box", where user can select one or more values.
We have created one view in InfoPath form, which have calculated value of fields(just showing purpose and printing purpose this view has ben created).
In this when we try to show calculated value of field is of Multiple Selection List Box, it's showing as "Off".

I deleted my saved password from a site, how do I get the site to remeber my new password? The dropdown box doesn't appear now when I type in my password

I removed my saved password from some sites that I needed to change my password for because they wouldn't auto log me in anymore. So I removed them and then retyped my new passwords in and the usual "do you want us to remember this password" drop down box didn't pop up.

Firefox would normally have asked if you want to store a new password when you erase the password and enter a new password.
Did you check the password exceptions and make sure that the Password Manager is enabled?

How to uninstall a Greasemonkey userscript in Firefox 3.6.16? Manage User Scripts box doesn't appear as before.

I need to uninstall an old userscript installed through Greasemonkey. Usually I go via Tools-->Greasemonkey-->Manage User Scripts or right-click on the monkey icon on the bottom left and choose Manage User Scripts and get this large window where I can manage whatever userscripts I have on here, but now I only get the small Add-ons window with the monkey icon last in the row (after Plugins and Installation icons) and the white area below is completely empty (whereas for example under Extensions I can see and handle those). How do I do this/Why can't I get the 'usual' managing window to show??

I also have this problem and it just started in the last week or so. It seems to be dependent on my home network and the problem only exists with firefox. I have used chrome and IE8 with no issues. I can verify tomorrow that it only exists in my network but one thing I was able to test is that the problem exists even on my linux boot. I am totally dumbfounded with this problem and I can't find anything that will allow the gmail page to load. All other pages I have tried load fine, all be it a little slower than normal but they load. If anyone knows of a difference between firefox and all other browsers on how it goes through the router I would appreciate the info cause I don't know of any differences.

How to make a List box connected to a Column Chart work?

I've just installed my Xcelsius 2008 and am trying to adapt the dashboard I developed in Xcelsius 4.5 version to the new software.
I have a fish-eye to filter which customer I want to see the performance for.
I have two list boxes where I can decided which KPI and which factory.
The chart should adapt according to the choices in the list boxes.
In the excel spreadsheet I have a long list of rows with a vlookup function based on the two cells connected to the list boxes. This means as insert in for list box I am using position.
It just doesn't work.
Can someone help?

I have checked all cells and all are correct (I even started the dashboard from scratch).
I believe it is something to do with my set-up but I have no clue what:
If I use for my list boxes the position insert in type and choose a cell which I use for my vlookup, meaning:
4     Insert in cell
1     NC performance
2     Pro-active Reporting
3     Requests Response
4     POD provision
5     Damage / Loss Rate
(From 1 to 5 are the labels for the list box)
I have a vlookup cell:="C"&W8&"_K" & W18&"_S"&W40 which indicates which data is to be used in the chart (according to the selection, the vlooup fills out a cells range with the corresponding performance).
For the chart I am using the cells range with the vlookup formulas.
What could be wrong?

Combo/ list box in Adobe Reader on iPhone 5

I have exported to an interactive PDF which contains radio buttons, text fields, combo boxes and list boxes. This form is to be viewed on an iPhone in Adobe Reader. All the form objects work except for the combo/list boxes. They appear and a selection can be made but the selection is not displayed in the box. I have tried to enlarge the box, thinking it was too small to display the text.
Can someone please tell me if there is a compatibility issue or a work around for this problem.

Displaying list box field in PDF

I have exported to an interactive PDF which contains radio buttons, text fields, combo boxes and list boxes. This form is to be viewed on an iPhone 5 in Adobe Reader. All the form objects work except for the combo/list boxes. They appear and a selection can be made but the selection is not displayed in the box. I have tried to enlarge the box, thinking it was too small to display the text.
I have tested it on an Ipad 3 and an android phone and it doesnt work but it does work on a desktop. The reader app is up-to-date on all devices. This is how it displays (sorry about the quality). The option within the list box are "nothing" ie space, Y and N. Before a selection is made the arrow is displayed but after a selection is made the box is blank.
Can someone please tell me if there is a compatibility issue or a work around for this problem.

One more thing: There is a workaround for those who own Acrobat for Windows or Mac. You should be able to open forms with this problem in Acrobat, modify the default values in these fields, return the default values in those fields to their desired state and then resave the document from Acrobat (windows or mac). This forces Acrobat to save the fields in a way that the mobile Readers can properly display and edit. While we absolutely should fix the bug to properly display fields created by InDesign, this workaround may be useful for others so I am posting it here.

Elements 11 toolbox doesn't appear.

I installed Elements 11 on my Mac OSX ver 7.5. It worked properly the first few times I opened it, but now the tool box doesn't appear in any editing mode. "Tools" is checked under window. I am also unable to drag the opened PSE window the way I could with the earlier version. Antbody have any wisdom here?

You are sure you're in expert mode? You should be able to drag the window smaller in any mode from the lower right corner.

Restoring your iPod to factory settings is the best way to try and get it back to working order. You can use the instructions below to restore it:
How to restore iPod
Verify that you have an active Internet connection, because you may need to download new versions of the iTunes and iPod Software.
Download and install the latest version of iTunes if necessary.
Open iTunes. Connect your iPod to your computer using the USB or FireWire cable that came with your iPod.
After a few moments, your iPod will appear in the Source panel in iTunes.
Select your iPod in the Source panel. You will see information about your iPod appear in the Summary tab of the main iTunes window.
Click Restore.
If you are using a Mac, you will be asked to enter an administrator’s name and password.
A progress bar will appear on the computer screen, indicating that stage one of the restore process has begun. When this stage is done, iTunes will present one of two messages with instructions specific to the iPod model you are restoring.
Disconnect iPod and connect it to iPod Power Adapter (typically applies to older iPod models).
Leave iPod connected to computer to complete restore (typically applies newer iPod models).

Here's an interesting bit: iTunes will let me restore my iPod touch from backup: it's still running iOS 4.3.3. I figured as much... there's backups showing in the Preferences -> Devices list for both devices (and even my old, long gone iPod touch 2G), but my iPhone (on iOS5) isn't giving me any such option. I remember I had to downgrade before to get the backup restored (something went haywire in the setup assistant, and I couldn't restore a backup from iTunes there)... If it was possible to go to iOS 5.0 rather than 5.0.1 I would just do the same thing again, but iOS 5.0.1 isn't an option. I attached a screenshot. Hopefully Apple can get this nonsense sorted out; I think iOS 5 might be the root of this, somehow.

Using a jQuery list box placed onto a tab control doesn't seem to work for posting?

I developed a U.I. in Dreamweaver for a product and have several list boxes that use the onChange modifier to collect what the user selects from the list. I use the onChange=this.form.submit() function to grab the user's selection from the list box..
When this dropdown list box code is placed onto a form, it posts properly and I can retrieve the user's list selection. If however I place the list box code onto a Tab page from a jQuery Tab Control, developed in Dreamweaver, the posting doesn't seem to work.
I must be missing something because identical code is working fine when the list box code is placed on a form yet when the code is repeated from within a Tab, it isn't working.
The code is simple, and shown below). The list values are coming from a MySQL table.
