Hi all,
How to bring a list box in ALV Grid

Vijayakumar VHello Vijayakumar
You have to do 2 steps (inbetween creating the fieldcatalog and displaying the ALV list):
(1) Set dropdown handle in fieldcatalog, e.g.
* Set Drop-Down handle for column 'LOGSYS'
CLEAR l_wa_fcat.
* l_wa_fcat-drdn_field = 'DROP_DOWN_HANDLE'.
l_wa_fcat-drdn_hndl = c_drdn_handle_logsys. " just a unique number
MODIFY me->mt_fcat FROM l_wa_fcat
TRANSPORTING drdn_hndl
WHERE ( fieldname = 'LOGSYS' ).
(2) Register the dropdown handle, e.g.
* Set listbox for available source systems (according to
* SOM Customizing and selection on selection screen)
CLEAR l_wa_drop.
l_wa_drop-handle = c_drdn_handle_logsys.
LOOP AT me->mt_rfc_check INTO l_wa_rfccheck.
l_wa_drop-value = l_wa_rfccheck-logsys.
APPEND l_wa_drop TO lt_drop.
ENDLOOP.
CALL METHOD me->mo_alvgrid->set_drop_down_table
EXPORTING
it_drop_down = lt_drop.

Event for the List Box in ALV Grid Control
Hello,
I have the below urgent requirment.
I have an ALV Grid Control built using ABAP Objects. In the grid, I have few fields and one of these fields is a List Box. Depending on the values selected, I need to enable or disable some fields. So, is there any event for the List box in ALV Grid Control.
For ex: I have 2 Fields, Designation and Commission. The designation field is a List Box field having 'Software Engineer' and 'Manager' as values. When I select 'Software Engineer', the commission field should be disabled. When I select 'Manager', the comission field should be enabled.
Early reply is hightly appreciated.

Conditional display of list box in form (depends on other report column)
Hello,
i have one question regarding conditional display in forms.
I have a tabular form where only one column ("flag") is updateable, all other columns are visible only.
I changed the column "flag" from "standard report column" to "Select list (static lov)", which has the values "yes" and "no".
This works fine. But in the running form i want to display the list box only if the column "status" = 'ERROR'.
The column "status" can have the values 'ERROR' and 'OK'.
When one record has "status" = 'OK', the column "flag" should not display the list box (only empty column row),
when one record has "status" = 'ERROR" the column "flag" should display the list box.
The idea behind is that if a record has "status" = 'ERROR' i have the possibility to confirm that "error" and update the column "flag" with "YES". This should only be possible for errors.
This is my main problem.
I tried with conditional display, but this hides or shows the column for the whole report/form, not on record level...
The second problem then is, that if the column "flag" is changed to "YES" in case of column "status" = 'ERROR', then it should not be possible to change it again to 'NO". At the beginning it is 'NO', but once changed to 'YES' it should not be changeable any more.
Is this possible?
Thank you in advance,
MatthiasHello Mike
your solution sounds good, but unfortunately it is not working.
None of my 2 columns are displayed, although i tried it as you wrote and the conditions should match...
But i am no sure if this can work. If so, the 2 columns must fuse to 1 column:
ID STATUS FLAG
1 ERROR yes/no => comes from column1
2 OK (null => comes from column2
so "FLAG" must display column1 and column2 in one column. is that possible?
regards,
Matthias -
Multiple-Selection List Box Values in Multiple Columns
I am using InfoPath 2010 with SharePoint 2013. I have a form with a multiple-selection list box which has A LOT of choices. Instead of displaying all the choices in one column, is it possible to display the values of my list box in several
columns?Hi Andrea,
I agree with Brij, one multiple-selection list box is associated with one list field, we cannot use the one multiple selection list box value for other multiple selection list boxes, we need to create multiple choices for each multiple-selection list box
control in InfoPath form.
Thanks

How do i get the data present in the selected row at run time in Multicolumn list box?
Hi,
I am using multicolumn list box with three columns and i am having OK button.
If the user selects particular row and then press ok then that row datas(that 3 values) has to get update in the file.
Can u tell me how to get that selected row values alone and also how to append the list box value at run time?
Thanks
MeenatchiYou can simply use the Value property of the MLBox to get the row selected & wire it to the Delete from array function with the Itemnames of the MLBox as the Input & Output of the Delate from array function.
See the attached VI.

How to set the List box to the field in ALV Grid/List display.
If you don't have a newer version, then you won't have this program. I copied it out of my 6.40 engine into my 46c system and modified it, so that you don't have to create a screen. Just copy/paste the code in SE38. It will show you what you need to do. If you don't have any flight data in your system run program SAPBC_TOOLS_GENERATOR_NEW
report zrich_0003 .
* Purpose:
* ~~~~~~~~
* This example shows how to define a dropdown listbox for all cells
* of one column in an editable ALV Grid Control.
* To check program behavior
* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
* Klick on the dropdown button of column 'WUNIT'. It shows
* 'KG' and 'G' as suitable units for luggage weight.
* (The standard F4-Help shows many other units that does not

* Essential steps (search for '§')

How to extract information in cells of a mult-column list box?
I have multi column list box. At run time this listbox allow me to select entire row (this is fine), how to extract the data from each cell along the selected row? It seems to me that the Multi column Listbox (MCL) is merely a 1D array (I guess index of this 1D array corresponds to row index of the MCL and value of the element corresponds to column index of MCL.)
To extract cell values of the selected row, you can create a property node for the MCL. From this property node, choose "Item Names". This is a 2D array containing all cell values. Index this array with the MCL terminal. Note that you must choose the scalar data type for the MCL. To choose the scalar data type, right click on the MCL and go to "Selection Mode"->"Data Type"->"Scalar".
See attachment written with LabVIEW 6.
I hope it will help you.

Set the column name of a table in a list box
is there any code to set the column name of a table in a list box at oracle devloper 6i?
pls help.I dont want to go for pl/sql . It should work any table.You want Dynamic SQL without using PL/SQL? Tricky. I'm sure there's a possible way using some very complex and convoluted XML functionality of SQL but in reality you are asking for something that isn't natural to SQL queries, especially if you are expecting a dynamic number of columns to be produced for each row of data. SQL expects a table structure, including output formats, to be a defined number of columns with any number of rows, not a defined number of rows with any number of columns.
Perhaps if you explain why you need this sort of functionality then we may be able to offer a better solution.
