These models will work, but requires additional work. In the end you will have a fully working system. You may have to encounter driver compatibility issues or bugs. Goal is to provide with a fix or solution here.

How to fix common problems?
Sometimes programs will stop from working after the upgrade. For example VMware Player/Workstation may need to be reinstalled after the upgrade to work correctly, even if it is the same version as the malfunctioning program/driver. This applies to other programs and drivers as well. This is the first thing you should attempt.
Also try and see if you can upgrade to a newer available driver available on the Lenovo Driver website in case previous paragraph didn't help you. Windows 7/8 drivers may work, but it's recommended to have the latest drivers installed.

It doesn't appear to be Mountain Lion compatible. See below.
Your Mac must be one of the following models:
    iMac (Mid 2007 or newer)
MacBook (Late 2008 Aluminum, or Early 2009 or newer)
MacBook Pro (Mid/Late 2007 or newer)
MacBook Air (Late 2008 or newer)
Mac mini (Early 2009 or newer)
Mac Pro (Early 2008 or newer)
    Xserve (Early 2009)

Then, you own the phone. Your only options are sell the phone yourself or see what programs are offered by third-parties or your carrier.

If you have not previously purchased Mavericks from the Mac app store, then no. It is no longer available. Yosemite has the same system requirements as Mavericks and is a free upgrade from the app store.

  • Can I upgrade my laptop with additional RAM and a SSD Drive.

Hello, Well I am on the following system :-  HP Pavilion 14-v015tu Notebook PCModel #: J3Z65PA It has a 4GB RAM and I want to upgarde it with additional 4GB of memory putting it to 8GB of RAM. Also I am on Windows 10 currently the OS is quite slow on my HDD and I have been thinking to switch to SSD.I need help that can i upgrade my laptop with a 512GB SSD and if yes what size and stuff as I cant find information about the form factor, inches, size, etc of my current HDD.Also will it fit properly and stuff? Also my main concern is warranty.Does my warranty gets void if I upgrade ? Thanks

The backup is an issue, but you can always mail your work to your self… but the mail server has to be configured the way that mails are not deleted.
The more elegant way is "MobileMe", you can use it as a storage and save your work there.
Keep in mind, the iPad is limited to what you can do with the Apps, so check first if there are some Apps for the work you need to do…
    enjoy your magic machine

  • Can you upgrade from LP8 (Studio) to LP9 and still use LP8 on the same mac

I love the idea of upgrading Logic
However, i've been burned so many times by shabby developers (apple included) releasing software that isn't fully operational until at least 4 months after the relase date and not being able to work on projects due to crashes.
With this in mind, i want to know if i do install LP9, will i still be able to use LP8.
Be good to have a safety net i can call on.

Can't answer your question directly, but I bought the full version of Logic 7 and later upgraded to 8. I am able to run both versions, which is essential for me as 7 can open my ancient Logic 2.5 files, but 8 can't!
So it should be the same for Logic 9... hopefully!

  • Can I upgrade my Power Mac G3 (Blue and White) to USB 2.0?

I have a B&W G3 (300 Mhz) and a slot loading iMac ((600Mhz) both running 10.3.9. My daughter is looking into buying an iPod Nano which requires USB 2.0 How do I know whether either machine is USB 2.0 compatible ? If not can a USB 2.0 card be installed ?
    thanks

Currently you only have USB 1.1. To get USB 2.0, you need to install a USB 2.0 PCI card. However, not all USB PCI cards work in a Mac. Best bet is any card with a NEC PD72101 chipset (xlr8yourmac results recommend the same).Read this for more feedback:

  • How can I upgrade from 5 to 5.5 and from 5.5 to 6?

I purchased Creative Suite 5 Design Premium and never received information on 5.5.  I believe I would have been eligible to upgrade to 5.5 free, because it came out so soon after my purchase.  Now 6 is out.  I'd like to know how I can upgrade (hopefully free) from 5 to 5.5 and then investigate my options for considering upgrading to 6.
I've spent hours on the Adobe website, attempting to find information on this question, but to no avail.  It wasn't for a lack of trying!
    Help!

The eligibility period for the post announce upgrade to Creative Suite 5.5 expired quite some time ago.  You will qualify for the upgrade pricing for Creative Suite 6.  You have two choices depending on the software which you utilize.  We have Creative Suite 6 Design Standard available and Creative Suite 6 Design and Web Premium.  Please see the buying guides below depending on which suite you are interested in.

  • Can I upgrade to CS6 for how much and with fresh independent files.

I ordered Adobe Creative Suite 4 Web Premium a long time ago (I have the order number). I was wondering if I can get a download for CS6 and have a license to use on 2 computers.
I need to know how I can update to CS6 for how much and if I can get fresh files and not rely on old ones.

  • Can I upgrade from Lightroom 3 to  5 and then move a catalogue into it from Elements 10?

I currently have Lightroom 3, Elements 10, and just bought CS6.
Is it possible / advisable to upgrade to Lightroom 5 and then move the catalogue from Elements into Lightroom? it would consolidate photos in one catalogue, at a minimum...
    any help appreciated.

Yes it can be done and is advisable!! Upgrade your Lr3 catalog in Lr5. I would then creat a new catalog in Lr5 and import the Elements one, then Open your original Lr5 catalog and import the one with the elements images. Just to keep the importing from elements separate.

  • Can I upgrade my Photoshop CS to CS5 and adobe bridge?

I have an old photoshop cs version and want to upgrade to cs5 and bridge, how do I do this?

You are long beyond any upgrade eligibility. The last time a CS licenses was good for anything was when CS3 came out. Your only option would be to buy a completely new license of CS6 or join Creative Cloud, since Adobe only sells current versions.

  • Can't download Yosemite, imac is compatible, RAM and Space OK

I have a Imac (2008) with 2GB and 1TB of new space, on 10.6.8 at this time. Have been trying to download Yosemite, tried several ways indicated in forum, still no download.  Is there a server issue as advanced by one discussion? if so can' someone confirm the fact? Is there a fix, this is getting frustrating. thanks

There has been at least one other questionable experience of someone's failed attempt to
access the App Store &/or Mac App Store this morning (6AM here) where the server may
have been involved. Or perhaps their computer was not fully up-to-date, which would make
the issue one in their computer and not a problem with a server.
Most persons here have no internal access to the workings of Apple Inc, or the status of
the main servers. This is primarily a user-to-user discussions area of volunteers and has
a few Apple community specialists who may or may not reply. If there is an issue and one
of those persons happens to see a pattern, they may be able to contact someone in the
    engineering or other related departments.

  • How can i upgrade my apple ssd with SATA300 and TRIM support

i pick an 256GB ssd from my MBP and install it on my computer.
win7 reads it as "APPLE SSD TS256A" and the firmware is "AGAB0202" but it only shows SATA150 support, not SATA300.
in the test it also show 130MB readspeed.
the ssd model is THNS256GG8BBAA, does apple has an firmware update for this ssd to support SATA300?
