List Controls

Question

How do I get the contents of one list in another ?...Suppose
I have a list that shows a timeline starting from 1999 to 2005. If
I click on 1999,2002 etc, the contents of that reflects on the
other textarea How to do this ?
I got this code from the Flex Help...

Instead of my result in a VBox, I want them in a
