List key figures in navigation panel of web report

Hi,
I have the standard navigation panel on the left side of my web report that shows a list of the characteristics in rows and a list of free characteristics. Under the heading columns I can see the point key figures.
Is there any possibility to list all the key figures that are included in the report so that I can use the drag and drop function for adding / removing key figures?

Since Key figures is a structure, you cant see all the key figures under that area. What you can do is, you can restrict the keyfigures in the WAD report itself based upon your selection.

Hi,
We are using BI 7.0, release 701 and level 008. We are facing problem in WAD (web report output). When ever we do 'Select filter' for key figures and 'change the order' of key figures, it does not get reflected in new order. Though drag and drop of key figures is working.
Though same change order is working fine in Bex Analyser.
Kindly suggest some inputs.

Hi All, I want to know how to create navigation path in universe? I am using IDT BO4.0 SP4 and relational connection and want to create navigation path. I would like to know how to use this navigation path in Webi report? If I create a webi report where can I see my navigation paths and how to use it. Subject: Displaying key figures without currency unit in BEX reports

Hello,
Is it possible to display key figures without currency unit in BEx reports? For example; Material Costs 1000 EUR
should be shown as 1000. Currency unit EUR and also scaling factor (*1000 EUR) does not interest us.
When we use display options in query properties, we just see an option of displaying key figures with/without scaling factors, which does not solve our problem.

thank you very much for your quick reply. We have very detailed reports with min. 10 columns, I should have defined 10 more formula columns to realize this (NODIM), but anyway there is no other way to do this, am I right?

Key Figures in navigation pane

To all:
I am running bi7.0(nw2004s) sps11. I am building a report in the web query designer. Is it possible to have the key figures (restricted & calculated) show up in the navigation pane of a query in the wad or query designer? For instance, I have restricted key figures for 1h and 2H. I would like these key figures to show up in the navigation pane so that the user could drag and drop only the 'columns' that they would like to see in the report.

Hi,
this is not possible via drag & drop.
You'll see an item called 'Key Figures' in the navigation block. There you can select filter values (also to be reached via 'query properties'), which has the same effect.

Key figure not displaying in SNC Web View

Hi All,
I have added a Key figure in Data Matrix View and its not displaying in SNC Web view- SMI Monitor.
Is there any activation settings after adding key figure in Data Matrix View, please help.

You can try following steps,
1) Clear the Cache & Re-login.
2) Ensure in Setting the Key figure " Invisible" check box is not selected.( SNC 7.0 v)
3) Check the related Product is applicable for the new Key fig added, like if its a SMI Product & you are expecting to see for a PO key figure...

Expand clustered Key Figures in filter panel (based on BW queries)

Dear colleagues,
in my BW query, I have created several key figures and have clustered them below Error Categorization 1 and 2.
In my Design Studio application I use a filter panel to select the key figures. The goal is to show the first level (error cateogization 1 and 2) at a first view with the option to expand these so that the detailed categories can be shown and selected.
Currently only the subcategories are shown in the filter panel in Design Studio.
Could you help here?

Go to transaction RSRT, select your query, click on the properties tab and tick the selection box "Use Selection of Structure Elements". This is recommended practice where there are lots of key figures.

Create restricted key figure with navigation attributes

Hi,
I need to create a restricted key figure using attributes of 0BP_COMPET.
On my report is :
Competitors (0BP_COMPET)
Quantity
Active Competitors = Expiry Date of Minority Status greater than or equal to system date
Inactive Competitors = Expiry Date of Minority Status less than to system date
Note : Expiry Date of Minority Status is a navigation attribute of 0BP_COMPET and system date is generate by variable 0DAT - Current Calendar Day (SAP Exit).
How can i apply the formula?

Key figure values vary each time the report is run by different users

Hi All,
We are facing a unique problem, here it goes :
Different users are getting different values for the same key figure, when executing the same query on the same selection conditions.Each time, user executes the report, he is getting varying values for the same key figure.Any idea's how to resolve this issue??

Hi Bindu,
One reason might be due to authorizations as discussed earlier.
check how frequently is the cube getting refreshed.
This might also happen that if users are running the data at different times and there is a cube load in between.
check for this.

How to rearrange key figures for every row in a report

Hi gurus,
I need help in rearranging the key figures values( product sales for A, B, and C ) in the columns for each sales division row D1,D2,D3 displaying keyfigures in the order of descending sales volume for each division. The order of key figures has to change for each row.
Is it possible through some user exits? Your help is appreciated.

Upgrade 4.6C to ECC 6.0 - Key figures missing in Treasury drill down report

Hello experts,
We have upgraded from SAP version 4.6C to ECC 6.0. Due to this fact, we have converted all the TR-TM and TR-LO master data and transaccional data, using TPM_MIGRATION.
However, when we start the tests in the system, we have noticed that, in the transaction TRM3, in ECC 6.0 we do not have the same key figures that we had in 4.6C and, consequently, we had 3 reports in the 4.6C version that we do not have in ECC 6.0.
When we access the t-code TRM3 in 4.6C we have 16 folders (16 key figures), and when we access the same t-code in ECC 6.0 we only have 10 folders (10 key figures). In order to create the missing reports we need the key figure "Securities: For a giving period". This key figure exists in the 4.6C but does not exist in the ECC 6.0.
Do you have any idea about how can we transport the reports from the system 4.6C to ECC 6.0, or, alternatively, how can you create these reports in ECC 6.0?

Key Figure getting summed up in the report

Hello BW Gurus,
Please help me out on this as soon as possible as I need to resolve this issue by the end of today.
I have a Custom Key Figure 'X' in one of my ODS and I am hardcoding it with a constant value, say 1000. When I load the data and check the ODS table, the Key Figure value is seen as 1000. But when I run a query on a multiprovider that contains this ODS and 2 other cubes ( these cubes don't have the Key Figure X), the value of the Key Figure in the output of the query is getting added up. I need to see exactly 1000 for the Custom Key Figure in the query output. Please tell me how to do this?

Hi Deepthi,
By default, when you run a query, if the KF you are displaying is not displayed with all the characteristics it is compounded, you'll get the KF added.
an example
the ods has:
char 1   char 2    KF
1          1           1000
1          2           1000
if in the query you only include char 1, you'll get a result as follows:
char 1   KF
1          2000

Key Figures in the middle of the report

We have a req where we have 20 chars and 3 KFs ...We need to put this KFs in the middle of some chars...
eg:
char1, char2....Char10,KF1,KF2,KF3,Char11,Char12....Char20
Presently we are using a macro to satisfy this requriment. But changing the macro each time when we need updations is very complex and time consuming.
Can any one know how to put the KFs in the middle of Rows using Bex ?

Char3

Create WORKBOOK include query 2 in sheet2
Refer those Cell into sheet1 after the KF1 KF2

Exception color can not display at another key figure in BEx query desinger

I have a report requirement, the user want to display the average price on each month ,such as:
Jan.   Feb. Mar. Apr. etc.
100    105    104   95   ....
and the user want to compare each other months with Jan's price.
they want to display the exception color when the rise or down rate greater or less than 5%.
Now ,I can only change the output structure such as:
Jan. Feb. Rate2-1                 Mar. Rate3-1                 etc.
100   105   (105-100)/100=5% 104    (104-100)/100=4% ....
Now I can set Exception on the formula Rate2-1 Rate3-1....
But the Exception color can only display on Rate2-1,Rate3-1...
and Not the Keyfigure Feb. Mar...
I am using the BI 7.0 and the new Query Designer.
Who can help me to solve this question .

Hi,
its simply not supported for BEx Analyzer. Exception reporting on another key figure is only possible for Web Reporting.
